Makeup Revolution Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter Review

Highlighter has been so in right now since last year. Everyone has been talking about it, trying it, loving it. And here I am with my one and only highlighter. Haha! I got this a few months back from Makeup Revolution. It is basically one of my first highlighter that I bought. This is called the Goddess Of Love Triple Baked Highlighter. It comes in this very cute heart shaped packaging that is basically one of the reason that caught my heart. I think they have a few others shades in this highlighter range. I got this one as this was the only one they have in the Makeup Revolution Malaysia web-store that I think has close down for now. Surprisingly, I don;t wear this as much as I can remember. This highlighter has a opal cool tone shade, it does not compliments my olive warm skin tone that much. The pigmentation was just okay, not super intense which means great for beginners as it helps to control better. Overall this is a pretty good highlighter to start out with, not chalky and blends pretty nicely. I need to learn and use highlighter more often to get used to these kind of products.

Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit in Light Medium Review

Well hello there beautiful people. Do mind that I relize that I have not blog for a very long time. Things around goes on and on. I wish I can just freeze the time. Phew. I felt so bad on leaving my blog like this. There are tons of product I need to share and review to you guys and let me try to blog about it as much as I could. Today I am going to review a brow kit that I tried a few months ago and it is the Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit in Light Medium. I lovee brow products and trying our new brow stuff. I also have been diving into a non-pencil type brow products lately just to experiment with different stuff.

This Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit comes with a tweezer (to pluck your eyebrow if needed), a small angled brush (to fill in and shape your brows), 3 powders (2 light colors to highlight I believe), 1 medium color (to fill in your brows) and a wax to keep your brow hair in place/shape it right.

What I like about it. I love how this comes in a kit with a brush and a tweezer. The brush is pretty convenient especially when I forgot to bring my brow brush around. I really love the wax. It works so well on taming my brow hair and keeping it in place. Price wise, a borw kit that only cost not more than RM20.00. How cool is that.

What I don't like about it. A few hours of wearing the color fades. The powder is a bit "blurry" to me and its really hard to make a sharp edge with it. Also I don't really use the other 2 light colors in this kit, I don't think its needed in this kit. It does not really have a brightening effect to be put under my brow bone.

Overall & Recommendations. A great brow kit for you beginners out there who are looking for a brow kit with a wax. Since wax/brow gel (to set brow) for brow is really hard to find in the market. Especially if you have thick brow hair. A wax is a must to keep everything in place. The kit also stores 2 tools that is very useful to bring along. The brow powder is okay to me. I am much loving the wax out of all the powder in this kit.

Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick in the One & Nude Review

More Make up Revolution review for you guys! And today would be on the Amazing Lipstick. Amazing. Really? Let see. So here is an introduction, it claims to be a lipstick that you will be amazed at the quality of the lipstick.Over 20 shades of creamy, long lasting lipstick with high colour payoff. From nudes to brights, and mattes to creamy there is something to suit everyone. So here what I thought about it.

What I like about it. I love how they are very affordable. It is called the £1 lipstick over the UK. They have like over 20 shades you can choose from. I love how they are differentiate each shade with different bottom shade swatch. The colour suit my preference wearing it on a daily basis kinda shade.

What I don't like about it. Well... It is not amazing as it should be. Since the name is Amazing Lipstick. I am not impressed with these lipstick. I do love how affordable they are and I love how they have the shades on the bottom of the lipstick. It pretty cool but the pigmentation is just.. off. They look so beautiful on the tube it self but and as I swatch it on the back of my hand. It is so beautiful. Love the nude but as I apply it on my lips. It is just dry and I need to go back and forward just to get the colour really appear on to my lips. Sometime it can be streaky and kinds sloppy sometimes. I need to blend it with my finder in order to really make it looks nice. The packaging are also a but tacky, the twist part on the tube looses it glue, and I can't twist it properly. It actually broke when I first got it. 

Overall & Recommendations. But hey! What can I say. It is a RM8 lipstick. Don't expect this to be a YSL Rouge Volupte quality. They are pretty good, great for people who just trying out different shades of lipstick. They have wide variety of color. You could look forward to this if you are planning to create an occasional make-up maybe if you are celebrating Halloween or going to a costume party, doing a special act at a theatre and need a one kind of shade that you may only use once. They even have in blue, green, purple and more special shades in the collection. They are not in the best quality but they are workable. Some shades may be okay but some shade may not be.

Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette Iconic 2 Review

You don't know how excited I am to review this beauty. As you know I am a person who does not really like eyeshadow palette because I find it is hard to store because of the different size these palettes have. But since I got a new bookshelve now, I think I might reconsider on collecting eyeshadow palette next. :p Ok back to the review, as you know that a new makeup brand has landed Malaysia. And it is the Makeup Revolution. A drugstore brand from the UK. They offer amazing makeup products with rock bottom prices. So over here I got the Makeup Revolution Iconic 2 Palette that has been said a cheap dupe for the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Really?

What I like about it. I love how this palette has a "window". So I am able to see the shadows inside. The palette does not need a fancy design on the front because I think the shadow it self is just beautiful to be stare at. Haha. I love the neutral shades in this palette it offers. I would not say the texture of this eyeshadow is super buttery smooth like Urban Decay shadow use to have but these eyeshadow is definitely pigmented, workable and smooth compare to those chalky drugstore eyeshadow they use to have. Of course got to highlight that the price of this palette is amazingly affordable. RM32.00 for each palette. and it is not a pocket size eyeshadow palette, the size of this palette is just like the other eyeshadow palette use to have.

What I don't like about it. So far nothing. but it would be fun if each shadow has it owns name! I would love that! Oh and also, the plastic packaging of this palette is a bit tacky and will tend to break easily if i would drop it of. Choi!

Overall & Recommendations. When I first saw this palette I immediately reminds me of the Naked 2 palette although I don't have that palette. This palette is perfect for you if you just starting makeup or even just starting to build your MUA kit for your clients. This palette are also my go to palette for my everyday wear. The eye shadow does not fade easily even with no primer and they are very easy to work with. I am actually looking forward to buy more of these palette. 

They have wide selections of series for this collection. The have 10 in total and the other 9 are the Acid Brights, Essential Day to Night, Essential Mattes, Essential Shimmer, Hot Smoked, Iconic 1, Iconic 3, Matte Brights, Romantic Smoke.I would love to get my hands on the Iconic 1 because my Naked 1 palette is really well loved is need a cheaper dupe for that!

Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts in Peachy Keen

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. It seems that you guys a very excited for this. Glad I can make the review as fast as I could. I receive a few items from Makeup Revolution. Makeup Revolution is a UK base brand that recently has landed in Malaysia. A lot of YouTubers has talk about this. And if you look through their products closely, it might reminds you to a certain other high end brand in terms of the packaging and concept of product. The different about their product and the product that they look similar to is, that they are amazingly affordable. As low as RM8. I’m not kidding. There will be more Makeup Revolution review coming up! So let start with this one first! Today I will be reviewing this really beautiful blush from their I Love Makeup range. 

What I like about it. Of course. Got to admit. The packaging. Just so cute. If you look closely I actually accidentally dropped it and the blush break into 3. Told you I am a super clumsy person. Glad it can be combine back and does no break into pieces. I love how it has 3 different shades. And you can get different shades of the each stripe. The texture is smooth and a little goes a long way. Again I love blush that comes in card box packaging. I find it is more durable and cute! Also this blush has a dome 3D shape, it makes easier to be swipe with my blush brush. There is also a fine gold flex in it, and I find it looks super pretty! But make sure not to apply it too much ok!

What I don't like about it. I think none. So far I have been loving this blush although is shimmery. I don’t really like shimmery blushes but this is just too pretty to resist. A little goes a long way. So if you take the product too much you will ends up looking like a clown of course. Or maybe the design of the blush. They have different pinks for the Blushing Heart range but the box looks similar. I love product that have different packaging for different shades. Easy to identify and looks nicer when storing. Nah, that is not a big deal anyway.

Overall & Recommendation. For the price wise and to the design of the blush. It's a heart shape! How can you not say its not pretty. This is a must have for all beauty junkie lover. I never tried the Too Faced Sweetheart blush yet, but they definitely look similar and the texture is similar to base on my experience swatching it in Sephora. Baked blush are usually shimmer and they are smooth and highly pigmented. If you love baked blush/shimmery blush (most of them have shimmery finishes) with a cheaper price than the Too Faced one. This is a go. I look forward to collect the others too! The Goddess of Love looks pretty! Shades available are as below!
