An update with the Samsung Galaxy A33

2 weeks had gone by and here is my thought on the new Samsung Galaxy A33. I had the A32 before and you can also read it here. I also did an unboxing first impression post that you can read here. Moving on, the new Samsung Galaxy A33 is somewhat a better version than the previous one. I can tell that one of the additional features is the water & dust resistance feature. The water resistance feature are only for 1 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes & safe against low water pressure only. Apart from that, the others are as below.

1. Video Quality

Featuring a FHD+ sAMOLED 90Hz display, with a screen size is 6.4" in the full rectangle and 6.2" with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The video quality is for me great. Nothing to complain about, the playback is seamless, color vibrancy is also great. Also, it automatically changes the lighting pretty fast. So watching videos in the darkroom can be easy. The sound quality is also great and serves no problem.

Overall, it is a great camera during the day and just okay during low-light surroundings. There are other cameras features too such as filters and more. Its an acceptable quality for the price.

3. Battery Life & Usage

It claims that the battery can stay up to 2 days and I tested that and I would say it does but with casual usage of the phone. The storage battery is standard 5000mph like most phones. Charging it is really fast, which I am very impressed with. It took me just about 30mins for the full battery to filled up.

4. Overall Usage & Feel

The size of the phone is 159.7 x 74 x 8.1 mm with an average weight of 186g with Gorilla Glass 5, plus a dual Sim with Nano Sim slot. The material of the phone looks like plastic and the matte catches fingerprints quite easily. So recommend having a case for this.

Overall I think it's a great casual phone for anyone who wants a phone for basic wear such as calls, messaging, video watching, and casual gaming. The camera is just okay, great during bring light surroundings.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 is using Android 12, One UI 4.1 with Chipset Exynos 1280 & Octa-core (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor.

SAMSUNG GALAXY A33 5G – UNBOXING & FIRST IMPRESSION

 

Assalamualaikum everyone and selamat berpuasa! I'm back with another phone review and this time it is the new Galaxy A33 5G from Samsung. I review the Samsung A32 5G before and have been using it ever since as my second phone. Let me give you some insight into my first impression of getting this phone and definitely I will have a few thought on the difference between the previous A32 and this one.

On 17th March 2022, Samsung announce 2 new models from the Samsung Galaxy line launched. It is the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G. The one I am reviewing today is the A33 model. Both are powered by a brand-new processor, coupled with Galaxy’s signature AI camera, expansive and smooth display, and two-day battery life. These Galaxy A series features 5G connectivity, defense-grade security, eco-conscious, stylish and slim design, and advanced connected experiences. 

To ensure customer experience are always awesome, both devices support continuous One UI and Android OS upgrades and security updates. “We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the positive impact mobile technology can have on their lives,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ The phone comes in its own box and all the details such as the serial number and such can be found printed on it. Now let's unbox it!

The top part of the box contains the Warranty card, manual, and the C-Type charger without the plug. Everything is well protected and sealed nicely. It also includes a "wiping cloth" which I find convinient and I will talk about that later.  

Here are what you are getting in the whole box. In the effort of delivering tangible environmental actions to help make the planet healthier by 2025, the Galaxy A series removes the charger plug and reduces the size of the packaging. It also uses recycled post-consumer materials (PCM) for the side buttons and SIM card trays. 

My first impression of holding the phone, it is definitely much lighter than the previous A32. A33 has a normal matte casing compared to the previous one which is more "pearly". It is rafted to be fashionable, functional, and sustainable. It has a slim bezel that creates a smooth, stylish look and the Ambient Edge design seamlessly blends the camera with the body of the phone. It features the tough Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 and IP67  that is water and dust resistance This will provide you with enhanced durability.

Let's get a tour around the phone. It has a  6.4-inch (74.0 x 159.7 x 8.1mm,) FHD+ Super AMOLED 90Hz Infinity-U Display and weighs around 186g, and has a battery of 5,000mAh(typical).

6 Tempat Makan Menarik Di Malaysia Yang Wajib Dikunjungi Jika Anda Gemar Mencuba Makanan Tempatan

Rakyat Malaysia amat meminati makanan mereka. Negara Malaysia bertuah sekali kerana mewarisi pelbagai jenis makanan daripada keturunan bangsa yang berlainan. Sebagai wadah tumpuan aneka budaya, ini menjadikan kepelbagaian makanan untuk dicuba oleh pengunjung ke Malaysia begitu menarik sekali. Keunikkan ini sama seperti yang dialami ketika di New York

Jalan Alor merupakan sebuah tempat makan unik yang terletak di tengah-tengah ibu kota Kuala Lumpur. Sebaik sahaja anda tiba di Jalan Alor, anda akan berasa seolah-olah berada di bandar yang berbeza. Tiada lagi pusat membeli belah  moden mengelilingi kawasan itu, sebaliknya anda akan diselubungi perasaan nostalgik.

Apabila matahari terbenam, suasana Jalan Alor mula sibuk dengan peniaga kecil yang giat membuka gerai jualan makanan Malaysia yang unik dan sedap. Suasana di kedua-dua belah Jalan Alor begitu riuh-rendah sekali. Pastinya, di sinilah tempatnya penduduk tempatan mahupun pelawat yang bercuti ke Kuala Lumpur, dapat mencari makanan tempatan unik yang tidak pernah dirasai sebelum ini.

Jika anda menginap di sekitar bandar Kuala Lumpur, anda boleh ke Jalan Alor dengan mudah. Contohnya, perjalanan dari Hotel Radum Palace ke Jalan Alor mengambil masa kurang dari seminit.  Tetapi, jika anda berada jauh sedikit, seperti di Hotel Capitol, anda boleh menaiki metro untuk ke Jalan Alor. Hotel bertaraf lima bintang, Grand Millennium, juga terletak berdekatan Jalan Alor dan anda hanya perlu berjalan kaki ke sana. Untuk kemudahan pengangkutan awam, tempah tiket bas online melalui perkhidmatan RedBus supaya mudah untuk anda bersiar-siar ketika bercuti di sekitar bandar ini.  

3. Lebuh Kimberley (Kimberley Street)

Tidak hairanlah makanan tempatan di Lebuh Kimberley semakin popular sejak beberapa tahun ini. Berlatarbelakangkan budaya dan warisan Cina Teochew, Lebuh Kimberley merupakan salah satu tempat makan paling menarik di dunia. Masa terbaik untuk mengunjungi Lebuh Kimberley adalah pada waktu petang antara pukul 6 - 10 petang. 5. Ipoh

Semestinya, anda wajib mencuba makanan di Ipoh! Beberapa makanan tempatan istimewa hanya boleh didapati khas di Ipoh sahaja. Jadi, jika anda ingin memulakan pengembaraan mencari makanan menarik di Malaysia, mulakan di Ipoh. Kelazatan dim sum dari Foh San Dim Sum tiada tolak tanding, terutamanya sajian terung sumbat yang rangup dan enak. Foh San Dim Sum amat popular di kalangan pelancong dan penduduk tempatan. Hidangan Har Mai juga digemari ramai kerana ia mengandungi daging udang enak yang dibalut dengan lapisan tepung nipis.  

6. Bandaraya Melaka (Malacca City Centre)

Seperti Pulau Pinang, Melaka turut mewarisi makanan sedap dan manis daripada golongan Peranakan. Makanan Peranakan Baba Nyonya Melaka banyak menggunakan santan dan rempah ratus. Anda boleh mencuba makanan ini di pasar malam Jonker Street yang hanya beroperasi pada hari Jumaat hingga hari Ahad. Oleh itu, rancanglah masa cuti anda ke Melaka pada hujung minggu. 

Antara makanan dan manisan terkenal yang menanti anda di sana termasuk air kelapa shake (air kelapa yang dikisar bersama ais, isi kelapa dan krim putar), laksa nyonya (mi beras beserta sup udang, santan dan kepingan cili), nasi ayam, pai tee (kuih tat disumbat dengan hirisan nipis udang dan sayur) dan cendol gula melaka ikonik di Melaka (diperbuat dari ketulan ais, santan segar, kacang merah, cendol, gula melaka).
