It is surreal. Last year I have been back and forward from JB, KL, JB, KL to finish up this project. I was selected to be a host for a new show at TV9. It is called #sendiribikin. Basically a show about crafty stuff and DIY. Pretty sum up what I love! A total 13 episode have been successfully shoot and now it is live. Every Friday, at 6.30pm me and the beautiful Ameera Zaini (Saffiya Host) will be hosting the show. Nothing formal, a casual chit chat DIY show that I hope everyone going to love! From fashion items, food, decor and even baby & pet accessories! If you are not available to watch the show you can always go to Tonton to watch it back hehe. It started yesterday, and this is the first episode if you missed it! - #sendiribikin Episode 1
It is my first time hosting and I hope you will understand the awkwardness face I may have show in each show haha. Also that serious face while doing the DIY. I laugh at myself! It has been one of the best experience in my life ever. I could say, it was not easy but truly a great experience and fun journey. So what's next? I don;t know. All I want to know is when will my baby give me a signal that he is going to see the world! hahahahaha! *nervous*

Head piece or Head chain, whatever you wanna call it. I love it! It looks feminen and edgy at the same time. These trends has been around and has been loving also during the raved event called coachella . If you are not wearing hijab, you can wear this too! I am showing you the way to wear this head piece with hijab and of course how to make it. Watch my video below! Don't forget to comment, like and subscribe!

I am showing you the basic one, you can create more design of your own imagination! Like these examples below! Add more chains, more charms as you like.

** Pic taken from WeHeartIt

Materials you will need :
Chains
You can use your old long necklace too. Usually they come in these type of chain. Or like me, I can't find it so I bought it at this online shop called Beading.my. Beading.my is one of the shop I have been loving since in my studies years. They have lots of crafty stuff especially jewerly making stuff. They once have a shop at Setapak, but they decide to just go online. You can find various type of cjain for this headpiece project. I choose mine in the rusty gold in 0.7mm thick.

Charms
You can find charms at any of your jewelry. You can use the old ones that you are not using. In my case I can't find it so I bought these affordable dangling brooch from local hijab store. They cost only like RM5 per piece. For this basic one, I am going to use only one.

Jump rings
To combine and secure everything. You can get this at beading.my too.

Tape
To help you out through the process

Wirecutter
To cut the chain and to open and secure the jumprings.

I hope you find this post and video helpful and inspire by this. You can make it for yourself, for your friends, for events or even sell it! Happy DIY!

DIY Room Decor | Curtain Lights

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I have some exciting post here. I present to you my first ever DIY video! Celebrating 1 million views in my blog! Thank you again. In the process of making this video, at first I though I was going to do a voice over but it failed. So I just put some info in the video as well as in this post. Hope I will improve more next time as much as I love making DIY videos! You can watch the video here below and the description and more in depth explanation here in this post. It is super easy to do and it is inspire by all the Tumblr room you always see. I paln to paint my room but it takes too much time. So I created this DIY as a solution to cover the patches and cracked paints on my walls as an option I don't have to paint my walls. My room looks magical now! haha. And I love how it turns out. So happy DIY people!

Material you need :
Sheer Curtain
Find a white sheer curtains the one I got is from IKEA. Its easier if you can find the one with holes at the back. It makes it easier to hook on the wire later.

String Lights
I got this from eBay. I could not find this type of lights anywhere here in Malaysia. Most of them are color ful. You might need to get the one in Warm White color. It suits best. I bought in 3 sets and it is about 30 meters long. Perfect for the size I am going here.
The shop that I bought m string lights is here : http://goo.gl/IzM5xG
If it is already not available just search in String Lights or Christmas Lights in Warm White

Metal Wire
You can find these at most hardware shop. Try to find the one that is benable. I am using this metal wire as a rod to my curtains.

Wall hooks
You can find these also at most hardware stores. Find the one with a good adhesive tape at the back so it last long.

Other tools
Of course you need some nails, hammer and a measurement tap if you want a specific length to mark your nail points. I might just gonna eye ball it anyways. haha.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Steps :
1st - Mark on the length of the curtains to be hanged.
2nd - Nails down on the ends of your marks.
3rd - Paste the hooks in line (this is for the string lights)
4th - Hang the string lights on to the hook, continue till the end by using all of the string lights. Remember to put the plug on the bottom side.
5th - Now, insert the metal wire in the curtains
6th - The hook it on the nails
7th - Adjust the drape effect
8th - Done!

Don't forget to subscribe and give it a thumbs up if you love it!

D.I.Y No Sew Revamp old Cushion Stool

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I am actually having fever right now. But I just can't calm myself from posting a blog post today. I have been keeping these picture in my folder for quite a long time as well as I realize that I have not done a DIY post ever since. As you know I am in the process of giving my room a makeover. So there is a lot of old stuff in my room that I felt that need a lil revamping to be done to make it look new. So today I am going to show you om how you can change your old stool or even any chair that has a cushion on top of it to a whole new look by just using 3 simple materials. No sew needed. You can customize to the fabric that you love to the furniture you want it to be. So this is pretty fun. Just staple it away and your done. So here I got my vanity cushion stool that is pretty much look disgusting because Tubbie pee on it. I try to wash it off but yellow stain starts appearing after it dries. It looks so disgusting to me and I barely sit on it. Haha. So here is the before and after picture. Now let's get on to the project!

What you need is a fabric of your choice. Here I got from IKEA. Its RM29.90 per meter. I only use 1/2 of it actually. Its a good thick cotton fabric. The color is vibrant and just perfect for this project. You can also get the fabric from your local fabric store like Jakel, or Kamdar. Just choose any fabric that you like for this project. Want a plain one or floral pattern. Your choice! Then you need a staple gun and a scissors.

1. Eyeball the length and width of the fabric on to the stool. Most project i google actually take off the whole stool. But I am pretty lazy for that. I am just going to wrap it on the stool it self.
2. Once you get the length of the fabric to be wrap around the cushion, cut it off.
3. Now adjust and lay the fabric on the cushion.
4. First step, we are going to staple the left and right first to the inside of the cushion. Fold it in and hold it.

5. Now the fun part, staple the fabric that you have fold it inside securely. If you are already on the second side, try to stretch it firmly and staple it in. Don't worry, the staple wont be seen since its inside.
6. Now you have done both side, now let's go to the last 2 sides that need more adjustment and cutting to wrap it around.
7. See this extra side of the fabric, eyeball it and cut it off so you can fold it in.
8.Cut it off and staple it in nicely.

9. Now to the edge sides. What you need to do is cut it in half like picture shown.
10. Fold it nicely inside to it forms like a nice folded effect of the edge.
11. Now staple it inside to form a wrap around the edge.
12. What's left, just cut it off and staple it in again. Look at each side and staple any edges that coming out so it looks neat. Pretty much just like warping a present!

If you have master the skill you can do this technique to any cushion furniture you have like below! Have fun and hope I will do more DIY post which I love to do but restricted due to financial problem. DIY in Malaysia is not cheap.

Do you have any furniture you want to revamp?

D.I.Y Ombre Summer Canvas Bag

Salam & hello everyone! Yeah to DIY! I have been waited for so long for a craft arty fart blog post! So many ideas but so little time! Today I am going to teach you how to make a easy begineer level ombre canvas bag. You can make it for yourself or make it as a gift to someone special! The canvas bag I got it from this shop called NoDesignerhere. Let's get on with the materials needed!

Materials need for the Ombre' canvas bag project
Materials require :

Canvas Bag
I got it from a shop called No Designer here. Click here to check out her store! She have different styles of plain bags you can choose from. Mine are in Type 004.

Craft paint
I got it from an art store called Papier at The Curve Damansara and Art Friend at The Gardens Mid Valley. These craft paints are a all purpose paints that can be use at any surface. The brand I am using is from Martha Stewart. I choose one main color (Color Code : Mardis Gras Beads in Satin) and a white color to tone it down (Color Code : Wedding Cake in High Gloss). Optional, Black (Color Code : Beetle Black) to add some patterns.

Fabric Medium
This is also optional. This is like a "medium" that you use with the craft paint to gives the paint more nicer on the fabric. The medium can add more effectiveness to make the fabric washable and softer. This is optional. This is also from Martha Stewart.

Palette
The ordinary plastic palette, you can also use a cardboard or even a plate. Nothing fancy will do. Just a surface where you can mix your paint.

Masking Tape
This is used to make the line for this project. It helps to create that sharp crips edge. No drawing require, this helps to prevent messy lines and paints!

Sponge
I got this from a craft store called Art Friend. Cost RM1.20 each. You can also use the ordinary sponge that uses to wash your dish. I choose this because its have a handle and you can reuse and wash it.

Use the masking tape to create the lines. Place it nicely and neatly!
I create a different size of lines to make it more nicer perhaps. Hehe.
Prepare the paints. Add more white to create new color, mix with the Fabric Medium as you like. The medium will make it softer, no water require!
Cut a capboard the same shape as the size of the bag. Place it inside the bag to make a protection surface while painting. We don't want messy result ok!?
The fun part! Paint the bag using patting motion! this will create more vibrant looking color and prevent streaky looking paints. Don't worry! The masking tape will prevent it from getting messy!
Continue by adding more different color. Add white color paint to the main color to create this ombre tone color.
Wait till it dries! Tik Tok Tik Tok!
Another fun part. Well, DIY is all about fun right... Peel the masking tape when the paint dries.
This is optional, create a stencil by cutting your favorite shape!. Here I cut a simple heart shape with an ordinary plain paper. Typo there. Sorry.
Again! Patting motion! Be careful because this is not a masking tape, messy result may occurs, so patting it slowly okay...
Then take it off! gently...

Tada~~ Done!

Me wearing the bag!

You can get the canvas bag at No Designer Here Shop. Below are some of different type of bags she offered!

DIY & TIPS: Handmade Accessory Holder

During my holiday in Johor, I was thinking of buying those earring/headband/jewelry holder just like shop usually have. Then i browse through Youtube collective videos. I thought that maybe i should make one! Anyway, i can save yet have all accessory all in one place as I wanted. So i go through old items in my room and found this old unused frame my dad bought for me during his visit in IKEA Damansara. I use used fence "cover" thingy that use to cover the door avoiding my cat from going out through the door holes and a piece of Felt Baize Craft Fabric (Fuzzy fabric that can easily cut just like a paper) that i bought at Art Fried, The Gardens Mid Valley. There are other option such as used cloth for example unused scarf maybe? :)Then i paste it with a strong hot glue and nail it at the back of the frame. Then i paste some ordinary wall hooks on the frame for hanging items. Below are the picture for you guys to have some visual ideas... :) I wanted to record i, unfortunately my camera was out of battery. :(

Can/t wait to fill it up! :)

Pins, studded earring and hook earring can be pin on the fabric.

You can hang any thing here... Including your necklace too.

This is the view from the back. The hooks and pins were put through the fabric. The net just an option to give more support.

Thas all, I hope you guys have some more idea after this! Good Luck!!! <3
