Hermo 2016 Christmas Sale Haul

As you know Hermo Malaysia always had the biggest and baddest sale every year especially when the year is ending. So I manage to grab some deal during the sale which are still going on right now if you are reading this post before the 2016 ends. I did some shopping and here is what I got for myself! My mask sheet stock has run out so I thought of trying out these mask from Faith in Face. The pink cute vintage packaging if you ask. It is a hydro-gel mask which I think I will love! I bought them in sets which are much more better than buying them individually. I save more! To my surprise I also got a full size oil makeup cleanser for free! Then I got myself some NYX stuff. NYX is now available in Malaysia and they are available to be purchase (authentic guarantee) at Sephora Malaysia and Hermo Malaysia. I got my self the dark circle concealer in Medium & the White Eyeliner. Kinda inspired by a pic where the model use a white eyeliner for a cut crease look! Then I also got exclusive makeup bag from Hermo and a paper bag! What did you get from Hermo 2016 Christmas Sale?

Lime Crime Haul, and something happened.

I was casually browsing the internet and went to Lime Crime website. I feel very lucky when I saw they are having a Flash sale! 20% on all orders! So I made some calculation and decide to purchase some Lime Crime Velvetines. I remember the last time I have a very good experience with Lime Crime Velvetines back in 2014, you can see the review here. Loveeeee the liquid lipstick! So I though I wanna get more. So if you wonder how much is the total discount I got and shipping from their warehouse (USA) to Malaysia, here are the receipt :

Each Velvetines are $20.00 USD and after discount, approximately each Velvetines I pay around $14.00+. The shipping from USA to Malaysia is $10.95 USD, took about 4 weeks to arrive and I think my order does not exceed RM500 in the receipt so I did not get tax charges. In the receipt the -$23.20 is the 20% Flash Sale discount and the $9.28 discount I forgot where I got it, I think its from the mailing list or first time order code. Sorry, I try to remember but I could not! So each Velvetines are around RM55+. 

So after 4 weeks plus my package arrive, with their signature super gorgeous mailer box. The shade I bought are Shroom, Wicked, Riot, Marshmallow, Prairie and Bleached. All comes in the metallic box and the frosted tube with flowers print on the cap. Super pretty! But I notice that the cap have different shade soft red. Theres goes my OCD. 

Here are the swatches. So this happen. I notice that the formulation has change. From what I remember, the Velvetines I tried before has a creamy and super pigmented formula. Dries instantly but still very2 comfortable on the lips. I notice that these Velvetines are now very liquidy and streaky. Dries slow on the lips and does feels sticky on the lips. Some of the like, in the shade Wicked and Riot are pretty good, lightweight but dried to matte after a few 1 minutes+. Shades such as Bleached, Marshmallow Praire are streaky and does not dries to matte completely. It was a bummer actually bit still they are workable and looks pretty on my vanity haha.

Also this happens, I did not know that they are very liquidy so I accidentally spill it all over my newly washed bed sheet (cries at the corner). What do you think? Maybe because of the Flash Slae I got a bad batch or something? Does the formula really change? I saw their Instagram feed, the colors are not like what I have here. I am not in their drama, I know some of you boycott them because of the drama but I did wanna get my self into it. Oh well, this is what you get for the price I pay right! More Baby Stuff Haul! | Bloom & Grow

Tick Tock Tick Tock! I'm actually now at the final stage. Its my 36 weeks! It is not a surprise if I would have give birth tomorrow haha! So many new things to learn and sooo many things to prepare. So I got more haul for my baby, in shaa Allah. I got hook up with some Bloom & Grow products and I am sooo excited to use them I know it takes some stages and time for some of these as it need some suitable time to use them. So I got some essential and so cool stuff for my little man, hopefully! So Bloom & Grow (B&G) is a distributor for all kinds of baby/children products brand. You might have seen them in some shops/retailers and online stores. There are tons of products they offer, from care to safety, toys, accessories, clothes, food utensils and many many more. So wanna see what I got? Come check out below!

I got a few stuff here. Some clothes, toys, baby carrier and some for my self too. Do follow my Instagram because from time to time I will give you my thoughts on these products on how they works, how it helped me taking care of Baby A and of course review on them.

So first off, I got some stuff from Skip Hop. I got some newborn clothes, this starry chevron side-snap long sleeve body suit set. Love the quick snap side buttons to make my job easier later haha. It is 100% made out of cotton and it is so soft! Baby A going to sleep so comfortable in these. Then I got a hooded towel (Skip Hop Zoo Hooded Towel), It is a soft, fast absorbent 100% cotton material made perfectly for any sizes of ages. It's going to be a fun bath time! Lastly from the picture above I got this babyprints color ornament from Pearhead. Got in blue and will use this when Baby A is big enough haha. It is a non-toxic, soft air drying clay. No baking required. Just a little touch of fun to mark Baby A journey as a baby. I know he is going to grow up so fast and I am going to miss his little chubby hand later. hehe.

I saw a lot of parents these days a re using this so I got one for my self. This is the Egrobaby Four Position 360 Bundle OF Joy Baby Carrier. It can be use in so many ways and it also comes with a newborn Infant insert. So I find this is pretty cool! Got it in black so hubby can use this and still look masculine. hahahaha!

So mama also got to make herself comfortable. I got myself the Egrobaby Natural Curve Nursing Pillow for breastfeeding comfort or I think can also be use during bottle feed time. It provides nursing support and comfort while breastfeeding. Then I got the Belly Bandit to help mummy looking slimmer after giving birth, ya all know mommy needs some looking good essential too right. Then I got to try this cool device call grohush This device is a unique tool that use to calm babies. It transmits soothing "white noise" directly to your baby that will help to calm and soothe the baby without disturbing others around. It has 3 different noise sound to choose from, heart beat, ocean waves and rain falling. The device is operated with batteries and it has a soft cover on the bottom part to make it more comfortable on the baby while using it. You can watch a video on how this works here!

Then some accessories for the car seat and stroller. That cute lion head rest and seat belt accessories are from Benbat. Some accessories for the stroller, I got the CuddleCo Momory Foam Stroller Liner, just to give some extra comfort for baby A and the toddle tray from Food N Fun for the front part.

Last and not least of course, a diaper bag! A bag that is pretty much the savior of all as a parent. Will need to carry lots of stuff after this and instead of going for a normal tote, I choose a backpack so me and hubby can switch roles carrying this. First impression of this cool Skip Hop bag is, amazing! I love the design and material. Will definitely give my thoughts on this more when I have use it! Have your own US address with MyUs | How To & My Review

Hi guys! I have been delaying this post for a while. I did not manage to sit down and blog about this. My back pain is getting worse. My pregnancy due is just around the corner. Phew. Ok back to the topic. As you know I am an avid online shopper and always want something online. But when browsing, not all webstore offers delivery to Malaysia right. So there is this mail forwarding service called MyUs. I knew this when Michelle Phan highlight about it regarding on how to purchase her em cosmetics online and ship anywhere where you live. So basically what mail forwarding is, is that it is a service where you get your own US address. It's like have your own "place" in the United States. So you can purchase anything from the US webstore and ship to the address that you get from this service. Your package will arrive at their warehouse and then you pay for the shipping. Then this mail forwarding company will ship to you using shipping company that you choose, as that is what they do. So I am going to show you on how you can have your own US address with MyUS and my thoughts on it at the end of this post.

So of course, first of all you have to go to MyUs page and Sign Up. I register for BASIC account. which is 10usd per year. You can go for the other package if you want. I just go for the basic for now on. 

After register you will receive and email. They actually need to review your application in 24 hours but mine was a bit delayed for 48 hiurs so I actually email their customer service regarding my application status and then my application was approved. When it is approve, my debit card was charge with the 10USD fees. 

When my application is successfully accepted, I receive my US address! Weee! So this is the address you key in during check out. Most webstore offers free shipping at certain purchase around US right, so that is kinda great!

So then I did a little shopping at drugstore.com . I purchase above 40usd and i got the free shipping. After 2 days, i receive an email from MyUs stating that my parcel has arrive. 

In my MyUs dashboard I can view my package detail. There is a setting page where you can customize on what you want. In my setting, I tick on the "original package" so they will send what they receive from the store I bought the stuff from on its original box and such. I don;t want them to mess with my box, so I opt for the original package part. This may be a bit problem if you order from several stores as they would need to compile each different boxes to you. The shipping may cost higher I think. After I have go through the detail I click "CREATE SHIP REQUEST" as a instruction to them that I want my parcel to be deliver to my Malaysia address.

Then you will view this below page where you can choose which shipping service you want. The faster it will get to you the higher the rates. Of course I have to go for the lowest rate. I don't mind waiting. I was hoping that they have a better shipping rates, I don;t mind wait for 3-4 weeks as long as I pay less. But they don;t have it, the slowest was 4-5days if I am not mistaken and it cost me 37.76 dollars. It was like my whole drugstore purchase! Pretty expensive to my opinion. Was not expecting this but oh well.

Check all the details and confirm! My package arrive as promise. 4 days. They came in the original box and below is my purchase! Still confuse? Here is a short recap on what I bebel up here.

1st - Register MyUs account

2nd - Get approved and receive your US address

3rd - Start shopping and during check out add the US address in the shipping information form. You can shop at more than 1 store, they will send to the address you have filled in.

4th - Wait for MyUs to notify you that your package has arrive at their warehouse

5th - Check your MyUs Account, view the details of your package on the dashboard

6th - Send instruction by clicking "CREATE SHIP REQUEST" on parcel you want them to send to you.

7th - Choose your shipping option and prefered rates. Don;t forget to check on the other details such as insurance or what so ever stuff on the right side bar.

8th - Pay your shipping fee, using PayPal.

9th -Wait for your package to arrive at your home!

10th - Take an snap chat or insta pic and hashtag #iambroke. lol. this step is optional. haha!

I got all the stuff that I have been wanting to try for the longest time!

My final conclusion is that overall it is a great experience. My package arrive safely, as promise and the transaction was super easy. Only that I really hope they have a cheaper shipping rates and I know it will take longer time but I don;t mind. I'm used to that as I always shop at eBay that usually offers free shipping or cheap shipping with longer days to arrive. So far I had no problem with that.

So far as I convert the price I pay (product + shipping) they are still reasonable and pretty much the same price you can get from sellers here in Malaysia. Maybe cheaper if you buy more and save on the shipping.

I am happy that I have an MyUs account now, so I can get stuff that is hard to find here in Malaysia. Maybe I can shop for things that I really want or big sales that they always have. For example have you hear that MAC Cosmetics eyeshadow refill pan is now 6USD? The original price is 10USD. The price is the same as MUG eyeshadow! or maybe I can get the bag I have been wanting for so long which is the Kate Spade bag. Mac & Sephora Haul

What's up guys! It's a new weekend and I hope you are all well! Recently I decide to treat my self for something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. I wanted to do some shopping spree on some makeups I have been wanting to try. So I did haha! I went to JBCC Komtar and did some shopping. I visited Mac and Sephora and I would like to do some haul! I love haul post, pretty nossy me but I think its fun to see what people are grabbing while they are in a makeup store. So let see what I got!

From Sephora I sis a repurchase on my ultimate favorite concealer which is the Urban Decay Naked SKin Concealer. But this time 2 shades lighter. This is my 3rd bottle if you are keen to know how much I love this concealer. Will do a full review on this soon okay! Second I grab the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. Heard good reviews on it and thought of trying it. The packaging is cute too!

This was an unplanned purchase. I was actually plan to buy the Too Faced Better than s** mascara. But it seems like it was never restock at the Sephora Johor outlet. Everytime when I come it is always out of stock. I hope Too Faced will be available soon in the Sephora website so I can grab the mascara on the spot when it is available. I wanted a new mascara so I was hesitating on buying other than the Too Faced. So I saw this and I thought it was the greatest deal ever. A set of 4 different mascara from Benefit and the Push up liner. In deluxe size. Which mean similar to a full size but in a smaller portion. Since mascara can be used only within 3 months I think this is enough. I also can try all beneft mascara and if I happen to really like any of them, I can buy the full size without a doubt right! This set cost me RM180, which mean each product cost like a drugstore mascara.

Then I pay Mac a visit. As you know I have a few things in mind from Mac, so grab some products that I have been dying to try out. I got the Minirelize Skin Finish Natural in Medium Plus. It is in their new packaging. A lot of people say it is a great powder to set your makeup. Then I grab some blushes. I got in the shade Melba & Harmony. I wanna use Harmony for bronzing. Been looking for a pale brown tone blush for the longest time. Most bronzers I find are too dark for me, so I went for this. Let see if it's a good one.

Of course, my 2016 wishlist goals! I wanted to try Mac Lipstick. I never own one and I decide to start collecting them. I wanted the Ariana Grande Lipstick but it was sold out. So I just grab the other shades that I have been suggested by you guys and some of the shades I find that may look good on me and a lot of people have been loving it. From Left to right I got in the sahde, Sin, Whril, Velvet Teddy and Kinda Sexy. So that's all! It was a guilty pleasure haha! Shopping ban next? I'm not sure. LOL! Today Baby Expo @ Danga City Mall Haul

Maybe I am just overly excited but oh well. So... I did a lil shopping for something exciting coming up in just a few months. Obviously as you can see from the title and picture above, this would be a different haul from what I used to talk about in this blog. I am stepping up into a whole new journey and I am pretty much excited but scared at the same time. I don't know what it is going to be after this but I am pretty sure it is going to be great and in shaa Allah I can do this! Also as you can see from the color scheme above, we are expecting a boy. haha! No kitchen set or bows and ribbons for now. Maybe in the next 5 years haha! So there were holding a baby expo at Danga City Mall here in JB. Mr and hubby thought of going. So we went yesterday and of course the crowd is crazy. When I went in I was so overwhelm by the crowd and choices of stuff. Luckily my mother in law come along to guide me on what to buy. So here are some of the stuff I got! 

First of all I wanna show you on the most cutest thing I ever picked. Of course its a clothes, it is one of the most exciting things to shop for a baby. It is this cute baby clothes set. It is this 5 pcs set baby clothes and this little cute tiger baby clothes set. The socks has a beads in it which makes a sound when you shake it. Super cute I die. Haha. Also we got a pretty good deal on the Fiffy section where they have these combo set of 3 baby clothes for only RM30-RM30.

Then I got some "kain bedung" I don;t know that I need these, but my mother in law said these are the baby essential. As a first timer, I learn alot about the baby stuff which not only clothes and bottle. There are a lot of other stuff too. So we got a few of the "kain bedung", these days they have in so many patterns where during in our parent days, they just use white cloth. How lucky today kids are! Also so napkin and some cute hooded baby towels. Aaa so cute!

Then I got some washing essential. These are a started pack combo which consist of shampoo, body wash, powder, wipes and more. Is it true about that Johnsons "dangerous chemical" rumors? Ugh, I'm not sure.. :( Also I got some other essential such as bath tub, mats, pampers (we got a pretty good deal for mamy poko!) and more. We still need to get a few things. But maybe we will go to the supermarket or baby shop to bought the others stuff. The expo were too crowded and it was pretty tiring!

Then here is the not so cute stuff but I need it. Haha. It is my post natal stuff. I got this bekung, some socks and these herbs thingy. I don;t know what it is, nevermind. I'll learn later. 

So that's pretty all of it. I has a lot of mix feeling, excited, scared, happy and just don;t know what to expect. I hope my pregnancy journey will continue o be smooth in shaa Allah. Still more to come! The expo was pretty okay to me. There were not so cheap actually, pretty much the same as what you can get in the baby shop. But as a first timer, it helps me to gain knowledge on baby items as they gather everything in one place. There were not so much choices for abby clothes especially for boys. There were a lot of promotions for pampers brand such as Mamy Poko, the new Merrie, Pampers, the milk for baby, educational stuff. So if you are interested, the Today's Baby Expo ends tomorrow (6/3/2016). Located at the Danga City Mall Expo. Make sure to be prepare! It is a full house! :D

Sephora Malaysia is now available online! | My Haul

Yasss... Y'all heard about this. Sephora Malaysia is now available online at Sephora.my! There is more reason to shop in pyjamas right now. Sephora and chill. Where is Luxola? Recently Luxola has re-branded to Sephora.my. Where you can purchase brands from Sephora in just a few clicks away. I have been waiting for this to happen and finally it is! I found that there will be more brands coming in and of course, you will get points too even if you shop online. Obsession and its convenient. Don't ask me why if I just bought a new makeup palette at 3am for no reason haha. So I want to show you on a few things I got from them! It is a massive one so here it is!

My Haul!

Hell yeah! Here are all the products I got from Sephora Malaysia online. I will show you a few bits of them. They are still new and I would give a few first impressions on a few items I got here. As you can see I got some brushes from the Sephora line itself, Nudestix, some skincare such as the body wash from ThisWorks, cleanser from Balance Me, the best selling Alpha-H Liquid Gold Serum. A lip crayon from Laqa & Co, Some makeup products from Mirenesse such as mascara, lip liner and more, I got.. ...some makeup products from Marc Jacobs! Weee! So far I love the brow pencil and lipstick! Owh love brown tone lipstick shades! Did I miss anything.. owh! Oh course! It Sephora, I got a few samples such as the one you see there; it is the new Benefit Cosmetics Pore products. Can’t wait to try it.

So I picked a few of my most exciting one! And below are my first impression and review on them.

1. Sephora Make Up Brushes

They send me these beautiful brushes with my name on it! Super love! I got 4 different brushes, 2 are for the face and the other 2 are eye brushes. They are made from synthetic bristles and natural bristles. From left to right, No 37 Pro Winged Liner, No 14 Pro Shadow, 75 Pro Angled Countour & 83 Pro Ultra Liquid Foundation. The Pro Winged liner is a medium sized angle brush that is made out of synthetic fibres. Recommend to be use for thin, precise lines eyeliner application. The next brush is my fav which is the Pro Shadow, amazing for packing in eye shadow on the lid and it is made out of pony and goat hair. The third brush from the left which is the Angled contour are like the famous flat kabuki only with a slanted design. It is best use for contouring. The last brush which is the Pro Ultra Liquid Foundation brush, a unique curved in brush best for applying foundation.

The handles are made out of wood with a pointed design on the bottom. It is pretty heavy and it feels very luxurious to hold. can’t wait to experiment more on these brushes!

2. Marc Jacobs Lipstick & Brow Pencil

I got 2 products from Marc Jacobs, they are a brow product and a lipstick. The lipstick I got is called the Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick and I got it in the shade 230 J'adore. It is a red with brown undertone. Totally my style! It is very creamy and I love the luxury feel of the packaging. The second one is the Brow Wow Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil and I got it in the shade Taupe. It is a retractable brow pencil, similar to the Brow Wiz I tried before. Love how this comes with a spolie.

I want to explore more Marc Jacobs products especially on their foundation and coconut primer that has been rave all over YouTube!

3. NudeStix Eye Crayon

I heard a lot of people talk about this brand. From what I known their makeup products are unique and simple. It is the Nudestix. A simple collection of easy-to-use makeup crayons, they promotes nude simple makeup founded by two amazing women who are actually a mother and daughter. I got the Magnetic Eye Color in the shade Gilt. It comes in a cool tin case and it comes with a sharpener. It is a super gorgeous champagne gold color. Great color for the lid or base!
