Hit rewind! I am going to do a 1940's inspired makeup look today! What I see in 1940's pin up makeup is that the look usually emphasizes on those arched dark brows. Paired with a natural eye shadow with a deep crease and a winged eyeliner. Clean fair porcelain skin with a light contour. Topped with a red lip to complete the look. Watch my video below on how I created this look using all products from KARMARTS MALAYSIA! Below the video, I also did a short review on each product used in the video.
PRODUCTS USED IN THE VIDEO :
First I prep my skin with some mask and essence. First I use the Cucumber & Aloe Vera Serum Mask and the Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Mask for 15 minutes. After that, I prep my face using the Milky Splash Essence. This essence gives my skin an instant hydrating and softening effect. Now my skin is ready for makeup application.
For the base, I am using the Cathy Doll CC Cream SPF50PA++ in Beige. I add up some warmth on to y face by mixing it a bit with the dark color from the Highlight + Sculpting Cushion. I am also using the Cathy Doll Speed White CC Powder Pact to set everything.
I am also using this Ice Cream Magic Blender to blend in the CC Cream and Highlight + Shading Cushion.
For the eyes, I am using the Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Nude. For the eyeliner I am using the Baby Bright Black Charcoal Pen Eyeliner and topped my lashes with the Baby Bright Deep Forest Mascara. For the brows, I am using the Cathy Doll Realbrow AD Tattoo Tint.
For light contouring on the cheeks, I am using the 3D Face Foard Nefertiti Contour Kit. Added a bit of blush using the Baby Bright Shea Butter Sheer Blush in Fushia Pink.
Finishes the look using the Nude Me Liquid Lip Matte in Burgundy Red.

Get ready with me while I talk through each of these newly launch product from Chriszen! Watch above video okay ladies! I will show you a basic makeup routine using these products. It is not heavy and perfect for everyday! Basically what I will go for everyday. Here in this post I will go in depth about each product info so you can learn more about them. I have 3 types here, the Roller Moist Cream Ampoule Plus Foundation that comes in 2 shades, the Pearl Loose Powder and the Lip Tinted Stick.
1. Chriszen Roller Moist Cream Ampoule Plus Foundation
This unique product has a very eye catching packaging where as you can see there is this roller on the top part. Describe as a roller type foundation that will gives you perfect coverage with its advance application. The roller will help to cover up and give you that even application in result covers up imperfections such as scars and spot on your face easily. Best use after using your moisturizer or serum or even primer.
Comes in 2 different shade option. They look pretty similar but they have different tone to it. natural Beige is more of a cool tone while Honey Beige is more of a warm tone. I use Honey Beige in my video and it fits my skin tone perfectly! Love how the colors are true and does not leave any white cast or patchiness,
Regarding the roller itself, it is detachable, so it means you can clean it and put it back easily. The roller is made out of a very soft sponge that feels soft on the skin. Does not leave streaky-ness when applying it. But you will need sometime to get use to the roller, as for me I like to roll it on my face and make sure there is no more product on the roller, and roll it on my face to even out the foundation. On first time dispensing the product it can be a bit messy. But overall I really really love the foundation, it is builadble, medium to high coverage without the cakey feeling. very moisturizing and covers up imperfections perfectly!
This loose powder is a powder you need to look forward if you love matte finish or doll matte skin kinda look. It is best for people who have oil skin too. It provides a brightening effect, pore-less, oil control and fresh effect for your skin. Your skin will look smoother in seconds! It said that this loose powder have great long lasting effect and it is fine enough to give you that pore-less smooth skin and fills in smalls imperfections.
The packaging reminds me of the Moist cake, the best selling product from Chriszen.One of their debut product and I have review it before. This loose powder comes in 2 shades. The light beige is pretty much very light. Looks like a translucent powder. The Medium Peach has more of a skin tone color. I love both shades and I use both of them,. Learn ways on how to use it in many way in my video. I use it for under my eye, set my foundation as well as highlighting my face features.
It also comes with a puff. I use it to set my powders on my face as well as the dabbing motion becomes easier with this puff. I love these loose powders as there are so many ways of using it. It is very lightweight and perfect to be use to set my foundation. It does not caked up and a little goes a long way.
It can be a liptick, lip tint and even a lip liner. The size of this lip product is very versatile. It is the Lip Tinted Stick. Comes in 4 different shade and it comes in a build in sponge tip on the bottom part so you can use it to blend in the lip color on to your lip. These lippies are very pigmented and they last on y lips long hours. They stain on my lips and that is where the staying power is proved.
There is no nude shade in this lip tinted stick. All of them are bright colors. Tangy Tangerine is a red with orange undertone, Charming Red is a true red tone, Candy Pink is a true barbie pink shade and Flawless Fuchsia is a true raspberry shade.

This is the The Face Shop Oil Control Water Cushion Foundation.Comes in 2 different shades. Mine is in 203 and there is anther lighter shades which is 201. This cushion foundation comes with a special sponge. I call it puff! With LG patented “Micro Foam” it is 4 times denser than usual polyurethane sponge that most cushion compact has. If you are still new to this, at first application you are going to take a bit of a time to get used to it, after a while, you will grab this during time when you want a fast makeup application, knowing that you have not wash your makeup brushes fro the longest time and of course during that nak cepat moment you don't want to get your hand all dirty. Trust me! Been there, thanks to the sponge!
The case and look are like the usual Cushion Foundation you may find in the market. The case is the standard medium size case if you know what I mean because there is some Cushion Compact that is bulk as hell. The products are store/absorb in the cushion. All you need to do is press the puff against the cushion to take out the product. It is like using a compact powder, but this one is in liquid form. This does not have any weird or overpowering scent. The coverage is build-able - Medium to full coverage.
1. Hydration
Its main features are the high performance
of moisture charge featuring an ingredient called the Clean Tasmanian Water
founded at the vast continent of South Africa. That has been said there is a
heart shaped island located there. It was inspired by how the environment is
not "damaged" and the only water that has fewer impurities in it
according to their research by CSIRO. Another ingredient highlighted in this
Cushion Foundation is the Italian pure mineral oxygen water. It provides
you with the benefit that helps to recharge your body skin health.
2. Sebum Control
Sebums are like white heads. It is an oil
produce by your body, an over excess amount of this would lead to oily skin. So
with the help of these both ingredients which is the Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract
and Blooming Rose powders your excess oil will be absorb andmattify. From my opinion, the
Cushion Foundation does not completely give you a matte effect, but definitely
has that nice shine of a healthy glow and looking less that an oily face.
3. Long Lasting
With its Multi Particle Technology,
it leaves your skin looking perfect and flaws are blurred out. I could agree
with this. If you have done watch my video, you can see at first the whole
application looks a bit weird, but after a while, even without applying any
powder on top, you can see my skin looks natural and glowing. It said that,
other cushion foundation has the same powder composition shape, while this one
has different so it can fit better to your skin and in result last longer.
4. Sun Protection
This Cushion Foundation has sun protection
of SPF50+ PA+++. It is just effect for Summer time in our case the whole year!
It is sweat proof and has fewer tendencies to melt during hot weather. They
clinically tested on 20 women (by “Ellead Skin&BioResearch), to wear
this cushion foundation and sit in the sauna for 40 minutes. Found out most of
the women makeup still remain the same! Amazeballs!
Recommend this to you who have oily skin but a t the same time experience dry flaky skin. Just like a combination skin. I am using the shade in 203, I suggest you who have warm fair to medium skin tone for this shade. I am not sure about darker skin tone if this going to look greyish on you. On me, it does not; this has a nice warm tone and does not give me the usual Korean product effect. I also suggest you if you have very oily skin to set with a very light powder so it won’t slip away. Because it takes a few minutes to set in your skin and from my opinion it is not completely matte. For very dry skin, this is perfect to be use alone for you.
