The Body Shop Drop Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask Review

Who does not even know The Body Shop? It has been here since I was a kid and I still remember going there with my mom and I would go a sniff every scent they have on the rack. My favourite scent to sniff is definitely White Musk. The Body Shop has been know for its cruelty free and natural products. From Body Care to Make-up stuff. Today I am going to review their new skincare product from the line Drop Of Youth. When it comes to skincare products. Sleeping mask is a big yes during my night skincare routine. I tried many sleeping mask and have a few favourites. One of it is this! It is the  Drop Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask from The Body Shop from their best-selling youth enhancing range. It features a unique bouncy and memory shape texture “jelly” that acts to moulds itself like a second skin. It has been said that this sleeping mask is enriched with the Edelweiss plant stem cells. It is a hardy flower thrives in the harshest conditions high in the Alpha.

What is a sleeping mask? Of course, most recommend to be use during night only. Sleeping mask is just like any other night moisturiser but they have "mask like" treatment while you are sleeping. Leave it overnight and you can see much different when you wake-up! Also great works if you are travelling (weather changing) and you skin dehydrated while in the flight resting.

What I like about it. I love the unique texture it has. It's like a jelly+soft pudding kinda gel. See image 4th & 5th, The cream it self is firming on it own, think about how its going to do to your skin! Don't care, flip hair! Amazing! It's not heavy or too creamy. Just nice! I love how it gives me this refreshing scent after massaging to my skin. It's hydrating, it makes my skin look dewy but not oily, it feels luxurious on the skin with the massage technique. The price from my opinion are pretty good too. Compare to the other sleeping mask that I like before which is the KISS Cream Mask, they are pretty much the same price but you get more with this. It's a cruelty free products, what else could I ask for! I love it!

What I don't like about it. So far nothing but maybe how big and bulky the jar is. It's the heaviest jar I ever had! Haha. Could not be a travel friendly item but actually I love how sleek and luxurious the look of the jar is. So It is just a love and hate factor. If I put it on my face too much, it can gives me this thick and uncomfortable feeling. Since the texture if a bit different from ordinary moisturiser, picking it up is pretty hassle if you are in a hurry. It comes with a spoon that really helps with this matter but I am a person who always misplace small items. Boo-Hoo me.

Overall & Recommendations. I recommend this sleeping mask to you if you are looking for an everyday firming sleeping mask that hydrates really well. I actually skip my night moisturiser and just use this after applying my eye cream. This is just good enough for me! In the morning I realize that my skin in "shiny" but not oily. If you know what I mean. It gives me this healthy dewy skin. My skin look really energize even after waking up early in the morning. My skin is not dry even my room is air conditioned all the time when I was sleeping. I also realize that my acne reduce faster than before. Hm.. This does firm, fix and fight that bad old spot!

Golden Rose Cosmetics is now in Malaysia

Great news for my Muslim make-up junkie because more Halal cosmetics from Turkey is coming in Malaysia. I glad that I have the opportunity to get and try all these new babies. Here is an introduction before I jump into how amazing these products are. It is a make-up brand called, Golden Rose! It has been in the Europe market for over 30 years. Wow that is very long right. It is also one of the biggest cosmetics manufacturer who produce its own make-up products with its own production factory. They are now available in more than 90 countries and now yes it is also available here in Malaysia. They are  basically 90% manufactured in Turkey & 10% from other Europe countries like Germany, C.Republic and many more. It is also going to be screened and approved by our Malaysian Health Ministry. 

I am going to give you my first impression on these products. Maybe in the future I will feature them again and make an in depth review for them! Over here I got 2 Velvet Matte Lipstick in number #08 & #14. Golden Rose Velvet Matte lipstick (RM20.00) is super pigmented and glides on my lips super creamy! I will need to test it out more to know whether if this is a drying type of lipstick or not in my future in depth review okay! It comes in 27 different shades to choose from! Along with that I got a similar pairing to these lippies. It is their Lip Liner Pencil (RM17.00) with 6 shades to choose from. Over here I got in the number #204 & #228. They are also creamy too. I love to wear the Lip Liner in #228 alone for a quick simple matter lip that is not over the top.

I also got a really beautiful matte peach shade blush in their Silky Touch Blush (RM22.00) range. They are really easy to blend and I love matter blushes especially when they have peach undertone! For eyesss! One of the finest tip liquid eye liner I ever own! It is the Cats Eye Liner (RM16.00) that is formulated with water resistance formula and does not smudge. The packaging confuse me that I thought it was a mascara at first hehe. Save the best for the last. Look at that sleek beautiful pink tube packaging right there. It is their Sexy Black Mascara (RM35.00) . It has this velour real lace texture on the tube. Super sleek! Lav it! I love how it has a rounded tip on the eye. Great for applying on the lower lash.

Overall this is a great make-up products you should check out! They are affordable and the quality is really good! Of course, its Halal! A big points for that! Let me know in the comment section below what you think about it and which products you aim to try.

Smashbox Full Expose Waterproof Mascara Review

I can't go out until my lashes are curl. I am on of a makeup lover who just need to make sure my lashes are up. Haha. I love mascara and I find that I have tried quite a few. Most of them are from local pharmacies and some of the are from the high end brand. For the past few weeks I have been experimenting with this Smashbox Mascara. 

What I like about it. It's very black, volumizing and lengthening. The large brush makes application on my upper lashes a breeze. After curling my lashes I quickly apply this mascara. It give me jet black thick lashes instantly.

What I don't like about it. 1-2 coast of this are enough or you end up clumping your lashes. Which I am a person who love to put at least 3-4 coats of mascara. Habits! When I am doing the "zig-zag motion for that volume and separate lash effect my lashes keep stuck together. The mascara dry very fast. The brush is huge so application for my bottom lashes is a bit hassle. If always use the tip of a mascara to apply mascara on my bottom lashes. This does not really work well there. Because the most product is on that part and makes my bottom lashes is pack with clumps. Other thing is that I really wish this mascara holds up my curls longer.

Overall & Recommendations. I found that it works great with people who have short lashes for the lengthening part. If you are looking for a mascara that holds up curls & natural effect mascara, this is not for you. If you are looking for a mascara that volumize, have a thick lash, this is for you. If you have long naturally curled lashes. This is also going to be a great mascara for you if you want that "deep black highlight" mascara effect on your lashes. My lashes are long but it is not curled. I might call my lashes, "heavy lashes". If you know what I mean. It's keep dropping downwards.  You also need a good makeup remover to remove this. So in the removing part I have no problem with this mascara because I am using my favourite biore makeup remover wipes to removes this mascara.

Ecco Bella Flowercolor Face Powder Review

Hey guys! Today i will be sharing you a powder that I have been using for the past week. It a something different for me because I think I haven't tried any organic powder before. I also been introduce to a brand that sells organic makeup items. Pretty interesting to me as I find that us Malaysia people love anything natural and organic right. It is a talc-free finishing powder with flower wax-coated pigments. Maybe that is why it is called Flower Color. It provides light to medium coverage in a flawless finish. It's also said that for extra skin care benefits, this powder contains green tea extract, flower waxes, aloe vera and vitamin E. It is packaged in a recyclable paper compact with a mirror and puff.

What I like about it. I love how the packaging looks. Personally cardboard packaging is really cool and I find it is more durable. It reminds me of the Tarte powder packaging too. I love the light and seamless finish it game on to my skin. The shade Light really suits me well. I find that this works great to be worn alone with some concealer application before. It does not have any weird smells or so. I also love the fact that this powder contains lots of natural ingredient in it. Chemical guilt free!

What I don't like about it. I may not like the puff. I don't really use the puff that much as I find that it takes to much of the product out. I use my favourite Powder brush to apply this powder.

Overall & Recommendations. I recommend this powder if you have oily skin or combo. It leaves your skin matte for quite a few hours. Reapplication also does not caked up even if you reapply on top of it if it tends to face. Color availability Pale, Light & Medium. Mine is in Light. A great organic powder and brand you can look forward to try out! It's Vegan, Talc free, fragrance free and paraben free.
