Ko Dermacare Skincare Products Review

This post is long overdue. Actually I have pay a visit to Dr. Ko skin Center back around early this year as you may have read later in my next post. I had a skin treatment as I had a bad acne going on due to trying new products early last year. You may see that my bad skin during my Dettol PH Balance video. After the skin treatment I was given these skincare product to use after the treatment and they serve me very well. Let's get on to what they suggest me to use from their own skincare products develope by Ko Skin Specialist them self. You got to trust the doctors! hehe

Purifying Cleanser Gel

This is a gel type of makeup cleanser. At first I thought it was a oil makeup remover. I was wrong. The color does look like an oil type makeup remover. I am not a fan of oil type makeup remover as they always so troublesome. But this one is different. It literary removes almost every thing. This makeup remover was recommend by the beautician for me as during that time I had a very bad breakout. A light gel type makeup remover is more suitable for me.

It is describe as a cleansing gel that is enriched with botanical astringents and moisturizing ingredients that thoroughly removes facial impurities and all facial eye makeup with one gentle application. Skin is actively conditioned and remains hydrated during cleansing.

Ani Acne Mist.

The second product they gave me is this Anti Acne Mist. Its a water like product that comes in a spray bottle. It is tailored to reduce and treat acne, skin rash, blackhead and all sorts of spot problem on your skin that has been caused by infection in the skin oil glands. This Acne Mist penetrates deep into skin tissue and stops bacteria metabolism rapidly.

I use it like a toner. Spritz it on my face and gently wipe it over with a cotton pad. It leaves my skin refresh but not as light as a toner like feel if you know what i mean. It also can be use any time of the day just like a refreshing face spray. I usually concentrate on my trouble skin area. It really soothes my skin.

Vitality Purifying Essence.

Sorry bit at first I thought this was a deodorant. haha. But it is not a deodorant. It is an essence. It is a PH Balance Formulated. It helps to balance out oily skin and boost up efficiency of the next moisturizer that I'll be using. It has a watery like texture but just a little bit thicker. Easy to blend on the skin too. The scent is a little bit off, it is more like a nail polish remover. But the thing I like about this is that it sets to matte and it feels so nice on my skin.

Aqua Hydrating Moisturizer.

This another one of a kind texture of a moisturizer. It dissolves into water when I blend in. Super light weight and describe as a soothing cream. I have a combo skin and this works just okay for me. I think it works really well on very oily skin. The hydration is pretty good but during cool surrounding, my skin dries a bit. The reason they gave this to me because of the current skin situation I had that time. It was the worst. So this works during my skin was really bad.

It is describe as soothing cream that is ideal for all skin types. Its energize and refreshes your skin with unique formulation. This product is excellent when used as a daily skin moisturizer or used after laser/chemical peeling procedures.

Perfect Block Plus Skin Perfecting Cream with SPF 80 PA+++

Among all this is my favourite product in this line. It is just like a tinted moisturiser. I was advise to not wear make-up after the skin treatment and use this instead to make my skin heal faster. I love the light natural skin tint colour it gave to my skin. Also it has a high sun protection too. It is a great finishing product after all of these skincare.

Urban Decay Spring 2015 Collection First Look

Happy Chinese New Year to all who is celebrating! I decided to post this up since the Urban Decay Spring 2015 launches here in Malaysia today. Yes, if you have been following every collection of Urban Decay Collection, you may have know that Urban Decay has launch this year Spring Collection. From Powder Foundation, to concealers, sheer lipsticks and new moondust shades. I got a few stuff from the collection and will show you what is my first though on these babies. I have been using it since I got em, I also plan to do an individual post review to these in my future post. First up, I will introduce to you what UD Spring 2015 has in stores for you! i also provide an approx price for you as I don't have the actual official price info, Will edit and update it here when I got them.

Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation | (36USD / approx. RM130 each)

First notice. This powder foundation comes in a box with their purple signature pouch. Sweet! It has a semi rose gold metallic packaging that looks really luxurious. This powder foundation claims to be a powder foundation that last all day, amazing coverage and works with both wet and dry method. It provides you with a weightless feeling with a build able coverage. These Naked Skin Ultra Definition Power Foundation comes in 14 shades to choose from.

What I find unique about this product is the sponge it provides with. It not not an ordinary sponge that you usually get. This sponge comes in 2 different sides. One if for the dry method and one is for the wet method. My first impression using this foundation with the sponge is that I am way impressed. The sponge gives a nice "blurry" application that is very nice to the skin. It is velvety to the touch and it does give a pretty good coverage although it is just a powder foundation. The only downside about this to myself is that the shade that I got is way to dark for me, after a while it tends to oxidizes and it makes my face look even darker. I think I should get Medium Light instead of this one that I show you is in Medium Warm. Overall, I really love this powder foundation and it works really well on its on.

Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer | (28USD / approx. RM90 each)

Describe as a concealer that is buildable, even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish. This concealer comes in 8 shades to choose from.

Remember the post that I am in the search for a good high end concealer? I think I already find one! Some said this is very similar to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I never tried that one so can't judge. This is by far the most lightweight but great coverage concealer I ever tried. Blending this concealer is just a breeze. I love concealer that comes with a wand, it makes application easier. The shade that I got is Medium Neutral, its the perfect shade for under my eye. I love how it has a yellow undertone that provides effortless coverage and neutralize my dark under eye circle easily. I think I am looking forward to buy another lighter shade of this concealer for covering my spots around my face as this shades looks a little bit dark around my cheeks. This concealer does not have a brightening effect, the shades are true to itself when applied. Will give you my thought on these in my future individual post, In Sha Allah.

Sheer Revolution Lipstick | (20USD approx RM70 each)

It is said that if you have been loving their previous Lipstick line which is the Revolution Lipstick, you would love this. Provides with a sheer, shiny finish. Every shade has a rich, creamy feel and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Contains shea butter and jojoba, olive and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a hit of antioxidants. 

At first I thought this was another concealer. Haha. Because the shade that I got is no where near to any of my nudes lipstick that I have. The shade that I got is in Walk of Shame. This Sheer Lipstick is super creamy I have a love and hate with this product. As we have a very humid weather here in Malaysia, this lipstick actually melts in my handbag. When I try to apply it, it is just all over the place as it is just too soft. I use my fingertips to apply this on my lips. I store it in the freezer for a few hours and its good as new but still I felt like its about to break off again. It has a very balm like texture with a very sheer pigmentation. I felt like this is more like a lip balm. I love to use this as a base before putting on another lipstick that I like. It does provides me with a good long hours hydration. It is also looks pretty nice to be worn alone. Comes in 10 shades to choose from.

Moondust Eyeshadow | (20USD approx RM60.00 each)

Urban Decay by far one of the best company with eyeshadows. Their eyeshadows are always buttery smooth and pigmentation. they also have unique shades for you to choose from. For this Spring 2015, Urban Decay added 4 more new permanent shades in their Moondust eyeshadow collection. Which is the "glitter" type eyeshadow compare to the normal eyeshadow they have. It comes in their unique detectable pan eyeshadow packaging.

The shade that I got is in Scorpion. It is a dark emerlard green shade with gold sparkles in it. It is super super pretty. I really love this shade so much! The glitter does not fall out easily and just smooth to the touch. Having this eyeshadow makes me feel like I want to collect more Urban Decay Single eyeshadow especially for my favorite shades Sin & Buck. I might!

Great news all of these products are in their permanent line. Do check out your nearest Sephora outlet for these collection. I really recommend checking out their powder foundation and concealer. Homemade by Yayah Product Range

I have been getting into body products more and more at this time. Maklumlah nak jadi bi.. orang. Haha. So I glad that I get to try my very own local home-made natural goodness products. It's great to know that people already start to make home made stuff which I find really awesome and innovative. Home made body products have been around in the US since before we knew it. As for we here, we are more to herbal type of body care. By just a few simple natural ingredient, we can actually make our own body care. But I got no time for that. I would just love to have it ready! Hehe. So I got to discover a brand called Homemade by Yayah. Homemade by Yayah carries products such as Body Scrub, Lip Scrub & Face Mist. It is home made and rich in natural goodness. I love how cute their packaging is! They all comes in a plastic packaging with stickers on it. Oh not to mention, these were sent to me in a cute gold box. Talk about shipping presentation. Kudos for that! I am going to let you know my thoughts on each products that I got.

Fine Lavender Face Mist. This natural face mist is made out of spring water and other essentials such as jojoba oil and of course, lavender essence. I reallllyyy loveeee the scent of this face mist. It's really calming and soothing. It can be use as a toner or a quite face refreshing spray.

Jasmine Body Scrub. Who does not love body scrub. This body scrub has a jasmine scent to it. More to a flowery kinda scent. They also have in other scent such as Orange, fine lavender and many more. The sugar inside this body scrub is not too fine or too rough. Just perfect for  scrubbing. It is a bit oily, but as you rinse it off it will leave your skin really moisturize.  The essential contains in this body scrub also helps to improve skin elasticity and provides you with a relaxation sensation of the scent itself.

Chocolate Mousse Body Scrub. Not really a fan of chocolate but this one does smells really good. Chocolate helps to removes cellulite, firm the skin and provides you with high anti oxidants benefits. This is much finer than the body scrub above. I love to your it around my bottom. Haha. Just to firm it up.

Cranberry Lip Scrub. I wish I can eat it. It smells so good and it taste so c=good! Its edible tho! Haha. This lip scrub is great on exfoliating my chapped lips. Pretty good in performance. I really love the cranberry scent. It also leaves my lip a little bit hint of natural red.

Coconut Lip Scrub. Not a fan of coconut scent but this is pretty good! No worries, you wont get green stain on your lips. This has a sweet scent and taste too it. Performance wise just like the cranberry lip scrub.

Recommended to be use all products within 3 month or so! The jar it self id good enough during that duration. Do check out Homemade by Yayah products! She is expanding her business to more and more natural goodness products. All links are listed below!

Siti Kurus 1 Hari Je...

[AD BHS]

Masalah kegemukan ni bukan sahaja berlaku pada wanita tau..tetapi lelaki pun sama je.. Apatah lagi bila dah kahwin, hormone pun dah lain, makan sikit je…tapi berat….mak aiii…..naik macam makan 10 pinggan nasi. Tapi kan..kat sini nak kongsi kisah Siti yang berjaya langsing 1 hari je…Badan langsing memang impian setiap wanita. Lelaki pun of cuz lebih suka body wife yang berlekuk di pinggang kan..?

Ok..Apa dah jadi dengan Siti?? Berat badan Siti 60.5 kg.. kira berat la cuz kalau ikut BMI tu Siti dah kira overweight. Siti memang selalu cuba macam-macam produk.. semua xjalan.. rawatan pelangsingan pun Siti pergi tau.. abis dekat 10 ribu juga buat treatment, tapi sia2 je…Siti hampir fedup..

Tapi kan….lepas Siti diperkenalkan dengan Panacea DR.BURN, keyakinan Siti untuk kembali langsing sangat tinggi.. Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluid Foundation Review

Laura Mercier recently has launch a new foundation and I am so excited! Glad I have the opportunity to try it as I am looking for a good high end foundation to try. I saw itsjudytime review it and I am so excited to try it for my self. It comes in a sturdy sleek plastic tube that you need to shake it off shake it off  at least for 10 seconds to activate the formula before using it. Put at the back of your hand and use a brush or hand to apply it on your face. They also recommend you to use their Laura Mercier Foundation Primer before using this for best result. My Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluid Foundation is in the shade Macadamia which describe as - light with warm undertones.

The new Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluid Foundation claims to be a revolutionary bi-phase, two part formula is designed to deliver the most natural looking colour and lightweight coverage. Colour true pigments rest at the bottom of the package while reflective waters (Hydro-Brilliant Technology) float to the top. Vigorously shaking the package before each use ensures the pigments blend with the reflective waters to create fresh colour every time. Long-wear (12 hours). Humidity-proof, sweat-proof / water resistant. Oil-free; non-comedogenic. Non-greasy; non-drying. Dermatologist tested. Suitable for all skin types (including sensitive skin), especially normal-to-oily skins.

This is maaa bare face! With only moisturizer on top. I have redness around my nose and small pores around my upper cheek and T-Zone. Let see how this covers up. See below.

Uuu.. Pretty nice. What I can see here is that it covers up and my acne spots pretty good. My spots looks fairly look reduce and my redness is covered up. My pores are also "filled" up/blurred and look smoother. But for me it looks a bit drying a few seconds. After a few minutes when it sets, it leaves my skin beautifully matte. 

Here is my finish look. I finish of the foundation with the rest of my makeup steps. I use the Laura Mercier Secret Concealer in the shade no. 2 and set it all up with Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. For the other part I thought of pairing it with a simple eye look and red lip to compliment the "theme" of matte finish this foundation gives me. I think its a great combo with all these 3 Laura Mercier products.

What I like about it. It really blends do nice on my skin. It's lightweight but build-able. The coverage is build-able but not too thick. Love the light-weight feels so comfortable on the skin. It sets on my skin quickly and the best part it, it does not transfer easily (It's means that like some type of foundation that is too dewy and gets on to your hand when you touches it). It sets from liquid to a nice semi-powder texture on the skin. It just sits right there on my skin and even out my pores smoothly as you can see for your self in my before and after picture. The matte air brush finish it gave makes selfie even better. It looks so nice on camera. Although it recommend me to use a primer first, which I did not use. It stills looks good.

What I don't like about it. Messy! Every time when I open out the cap, the liquid foundation tends to drip out. For price wise I got to admit it is a bit pricey and since it is a liquid type of foundation I think this is going to finish off quickly. I basically need nearly 20cent size of this Smooth Finish Flawless Fluid Foundation to cover up my whole face. I basically need more because I love a nice coverage type of foundation. I would wear this on special occasion to save up. Haha.

Overall & Recommendations. Really recommend this foundation if you are looking for a high end foundation that gives you non-cakey matte finish. This works well with Oily to Combo skin because it is not formulated with oil and it is water base. I have combo skin and this works really well on me. It's not oily or too drying. The matte finish is not too flat where I find this foundation gives a very nice "velvet skin" effect if you get what I mean. Finish it of with a good light weight powder, don't set if of with another powder type foundation. I think it will just too heavy since this has a powder matte finish. I found that this works well with a synthetic brush as well as your finger.

I am in the shade Macadamia, and it matches my skin so perfectly. It even out my skin tone and covers my imperfections pretty good. I just need a few layers of concealer to finish it off. I tested this out a few days ago when going to work. So far it stays pretty good long hours. Not really 12 hours. Wore this in the morning, I can see that it is pretty good during lunch hour but my spots can already be seen. In the evening the foundation is still there bit fades out a bit with a bit of oiliness not on my entire face but just around my T-Zone and remains smooth around my cheeks. A good high end liquid foundation you can try out!

The Body Shop Drop Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask Review

Who does not even know The Body Shop? It has been here since I was a kid and I still remember going there with my mom and I would go a sniff every scent they have on the rack. My favourite scent to sniff is definitely White Musk. The Body Shop has been know for its cruelty free and natural products. From Body Care to Make-up stuff. Today I am going to review their new skincare product from the line Drop Of Youth. When it comes to skincare products. Sleeping mask is a big yes during my night skincare routine. I tried many sleeping mask and have a few favourites. One of it is this! It is the  Drop Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask from The Body Shop from their best-selling youth enhancing range. It features a unique bouncy and memory shape texture “jelly” that acts to moulds itself like a second skin. It has been said that this sleeping mask is enriched with the Edelweiss plant stem cells. It is a hardy flower thrives in the harshest conditions high in the Alpha.

What is a sleeping mask? Of course, most recommend to be use during night only. Sleeping mask is just like any other night moisturiser but they have "mask like" treatment while you are sleeping. Leave it overnight and you can see much different when you wake-up! Also great works if you are travelling (weather changing) and you skin dehydrated while in the flight resting.

What I like about it. I love the unique texture it has. It's like a jelly+soft pudding kinda gel. See image 4th & 5th, The cream it self is firming on it own, think about how its going to do to your skin! Don't care, flip hair! Amazing! It's not heavy or too creamy. Just nice! I love how it gives me this refreshing scent after massaging to my skin. It's hydrating, it makes my skin look dewy but not oily, it feels luxurious on the skin with the massage technique. The price from my opinion are pretty good too. Compare to the other sleeping mask that I like before which is the KISS Cream Mask, they are pretty much the same price but you get more with this. It's a cruelty free products, what else could I ask for! I love it!

What I don't like about it. So far nothing but maybe how big and bulky the jar is. It's the heaviest jar I ever had! Haha. Could not be a travel friendly item but actually I love how sleek and luxurious the look of the jar is. So It is just a love and hate factor. If I put it on my face too much, it can gives me this thick and uncomfortable feeling. Since the texture if a bit different from ordinary moisturiser, picking it up is pretty hassle if you are in a hurry. It comes with a spoon that really helps with this matter but I am a person who always misplace small items. Boo-Hoo me.

Overall & Recommendations. I recommend this sleeping mask to you if you are looking for an everyday firming sleeping mask that hydrates really well. I actually skip my night moisturiser and just use this after applying my eye cream. This is just good enough for me! In the morning I realize that my skin in "shiny" but not oily. If you know what I mean. It gives me this healthy dewy skin. My skin look really energize even after waking up early in the morning. My skin is not dry even my room is air conditioned all the time when I was sleeping. I also realize that my acne reduce faster than before. Hm.. This does firm, fix and fight that bad old spot!

Also Dr. Terry skincare expert appointed by The Body Shop Global has specially designed a massage technique you can use when using this Sleeping Mask. It helps to stimulate your lymphatic system that encourages better absorption. The steps are as below pictorial and watch Dr Terry herself demonstrate the massage technique in the video below.

Golden Rose Cosmetics is now in Malaysia

Great news for my Muslim make-up junkie because more Halal cosmetics from Turkey is coming in Malaysia. I glad that I have the opportunity to get and try all these new babies. Here is an introduction before I jump into how amazing these products are. It is a make-up brand called, Golden Rose! It has been in the Europe market for over 30 years. Wow that is very long right. It is also one of the biggest cosmetics manufacturer who produce its own make-up products with its own production factory. They are now available in more than 90 countries and now yes it is also available here in Malaysia. They are  basically 90% manufactured in Turkey & 10% from other Europe countries like Germany, C.Republic and many more. It is also going to be screened and approved by our Malaysian Health Ministry. 

I am going to give you my first impression on these products. Maybe in the future I will feature them again and make an in depth review for them! Over here I got 2 Velvet Matte Lipstick in number #08 & #14. Golden Rose Velvet Matte lipstick (RM20.00) is super pigmented and glides on my lips super creamy! I will need to test it out more to know whether if this is a drying type of lipstick or not in my future in depth review okay! It comes in 27 different shades to choose from! Along with that I got a similar pairing to these lippies. It is their Lip Liner Pencil (RM17.00) with 6 shades to choose from. Over here I got in the number #204 & #228. They are also creamy too. I love to wear the Lip Liner in #228 alone for a quick simple matter lip that is not over the top.

I also got a really beautiful matte peach shade blush in their Silky Touch Blush (RM22.00) range. They are really easy to blend and I love matter blushes especially when they have peach undertone! The packaging confuse me that I thought it was a mascara at first hehe. Save the best for the last. Look at that sleek beautiful pink tube packaging right there. It is their Sexy Black Mascara (RM35.00) . It has this velour real lace texture on the tube. Super sleek! Lav it! I love how it has a rounded tip on the eye. Great for applying on the lower lash.
