NYX Butt Naked Underneath It All Palette Review

I got this palette a while back last year during my birthday and it has been my staple palette when I am traveling last year. This palette make me discover that I love warm and burn orange eyeshadow. Never knew it is such a versatile color and a pretty bold color to be use in my everyday. It makes me wanna go and find a single eyeshadow color that looks like some of these eyeshadow and put it in my custom empty palette. This palette comes with 15 eyeshadow color with a mix of matte, glitter, shimmer and satin finish, 4 blusher from lights, peach and bright and lastly 3 illuminators. The blush and illuminators are place in a easy to slide pan on the bottom part of this palette. The case is made out of plastic and comes with a big huge mirror that is handy. Its pretty bulky but I find that it is travel friendly.

The 15 eyeshadow.

From first row left to right. You can see the numbering on the back of the box packaging. There are no specific names for each of these shadows. My favorite has to be number 2,5,7, 11, 13 & 14. Some of them are butter smooth especially the top row and some of them are pretty chalky like he number 15. It is one of a kind palette that not natural palette usually have. The mix of burnt orange, greens and dark plums are amazing to create different looks than your usual. 

The 4 blusher and the 3 illuminators.

The blush are pretty okay, not that pigmented and you will need a whole lot of layer to make it visible. My favorite blush are the one in number 3 and 4. A natural matte blush that looks good together. The illuminators was pretty disappointing. It is pretty chalky and hard to blend. It does not look really smooth on my skin. But they look pretty cool when swatched.

Look I created using this palette :

I use the eyeshdow number 11 for my entire lid, 15 for my transaction shade, 12 for my crease and I deepen out my crease using the number 14. I also use the plum shade number 12 on my lower outer corner. I highlight my inner corner using the eyeshadow in number 10. For cheeks I am using the blush in number 3 and 4 then highlight my cheekbones using the illuminator in number 2. 

You can purchase this palette at Sephora. I am not sure if they are a LE or a permanent palette. I got this from my mom during my birthday and I think they retails for about RM100+. What do you think of this palette?

My NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Collections

I have told you guys, I am obsessed with these lip cream. By far this is the most reach product on my daily basis, especially in the shade Athens. I have done a review on these previously, you can read it here. I featured 6 shades in that post and well, as time comes by, I added more because I just love these lip products so much. As a matte kinda girl, this lightweight formula, pretty opaque, non-drying and cream consistency just makes my everyday makeup routine easy and fast. My favorite shade of all time. I got my NYX SMLC all from an IG shop called @doodletoodle . I trust her service and all of her NYX are original. Yep, there is a fake NYX SMLC out there. Pretty rad. So she done a special offer that day and I myself could not hold my self to get more of these. This time I get most of them are in nude shades as that is what I usually wear everyday. So Round up, I think, I had enough. Maybe enough or maybe some color I would sell to my friends and get some other colors. But I am not sure yet, we'll see. Haha. So let's get on to all of the shades I have and a little thoughts and review on them

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 03 Tokyo

A very pale pink. Looks great if you don't have warm or olive skin tone. I wish I could rock this one out, but I look kinda pale and sick with this shade.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 06 Istanbul

A nice earth tone pink shade. Really love this color, I think it suits most warm skintone.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 16 Cairo

A concealer like shade. More to a peach nude shade but very very pale. Would be a great color to combine with others so you can use it as a tone down shade. Does not appear very well alone.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 15 Athens

Hands down. This color is mean for me! I love this shade so much, its a nude and has a peach tone to it. Very natural yet not too plain. Love this to the max!

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 02 Stockholm

A deeper version to my favorite Athens. Love this one too! I think the shade Athens works well with a fair to medium skintone and this one for a darker skintone. But I love both!

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 09 Abu Dhabi

A brown tone shade with a bit of a warmth. Looks similar to London but this is much more darker and warmer.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 04 London

A lighter version of Abu Dhabi, more to a peach to brown nude shade. Creamy and opaque. Love this.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 05 Antwerp

I thought I'm gonna love this but it does not suit my skin tone. It's like a bright peach shade, super creamy but just does not work for me.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 14 Zurich

A red tone kinda nude. Pretty gorgeous and perfect if you want a nude lips, but just want a bit of a warm red tone to it.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 19 Cannes

A pink mauve warm pink. More of a muted rose color. Creamy and opaque.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Buenos Aires

The most tacky formula ever. Streaky and hard to blend, but the color is very pretty. Its a peach to cream orange shade. A bright creamy pink shade.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 07 Addis Ababa

A bright pink shade with a bit to a fuchsia undertone.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 18 Prague

A bright deep plum color. Love this! But I don't find myself use this everday but this color is so pretty! Opaque, creamy and ahh! So pretty! The cutes plum shade I ever had.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 01 Amsterdam

A bright true red shade. A bit of a cool tone after a long observation. I think.

I thinking of selling the shade Tokyo and buy the one in Copehagen. They retails around RM24 each. You may get this at Sephora but trust me, they don't really restock them that often. NYX Butter Gloss & Lipstick | Nude Shades

You can never go wrong with nudes! urm.. Well sometimes. Haha. I got 2 lippes to share my thought with you and it is from NYX Cosmetics. I got 2 types here and it is the Butter Gloss (just like a lip gloss) and Butter Lipstick (obviously a lipstick). I picked up two shades from a shop (DoodleToodle) and it is the same shop I got my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. Love that stuff! Check out that post if you are interested. One of my most read post eva! So, both shades that I picked up are nudes because since starting working I find myself becoming "plain jane" and afraid to experiment on bright lippies. Haha. So I thought this would be a great shade to be worn everyday to work. So here are the reviews.

Nyx Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee. Why butter? Boleh makan dengan roti ke? Ok not correct. It is called butter gloss maybe because of the texture it self. This Lip Gloss is supper glossy and buttery smooth. I find that the gloss creates a fuller lip effect to my lips and leaving it look plummer. It does feels a bit sticky but not too sticky in a way you feel like you wanna swipe it off a few minutes later. The shades I picked up is Creme Brulee. It is a natural nude shade with a hint of warm pink. Very natural. I am not sure about how pigmented they are as this is a nude shade and it does looks soft on your lips. Also, I find that it does not look very nice on chapped lips. Makeup sure to moisturise your lips before applying but then if your lips are not chapped, this lip gloss does provides the moisture that you need. This is a great product to be worn alone. The packaging it self are just like the other normal lipgloss. The wand does not serve a problem and easy to be use to apply the product. This gloss also does not have any overpowering scent. Recommend this to anyone who loves a glossy lips with a hint of neutral pink shades in it.

NYX Butter Lipstick in Snow Cap. I love the packaging as they are differentiate with different shades. The one I got is Snow Cap. Another neutral shades. A nude shade with a very little pink undertone. This Butter Lipstick comes in 22 different shades to choose from. Claims to be a lipstick that hydrates your lips. Have a satin finish and quite pigmented. Looks like a tinted balm to me but just a bit more pigmented. Again, this would not look nice on chapped lips. Also I don't really like the texture, its a bit "chappy' as you can see in picture above, it does not really blend well.Overall this is an okay product. A very natural lipstick that would provide a nice satin finish to your lips.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Horaay! Did you come here from Instagram? Hehe... Love you! Okay, I have been patiently waiting to review this. I have rush myself from work just because I need to get home before the sun down. I need sunlight to take all of my blog pictures! It is the best lighting unfortunately since I started working, I have limited time for that. Phew glad I make it on time to take the pictures for the lip swatches. So I have been hearing these raves and love towards the SMLC (Soft Matte Lip Cream) from NYX so many times. I never get to go around with it as I thought this would be just an ordinary lip product. It is also hard to get, and always sold out at Sephora Malaysia. So I don't bother getting it. A lot of this blogshop and instashop have been selling this. I went to work and my office matte are also loving this. So I think I need to get my hand on this and try it for my self! So lucky an instashop, DoodleToodle offer me 2 of these for review, so why not I just add some and order from her. So I got another 4. NYX offers 22 shades of this SMLC (together with the new 2014 shades).

These NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream are describe as neither lipstick nor lip gloss, this matte lip cream is a new kind of lip color that goes on silky smooth and sets to a matte finish. Soft Matte Lip Cream is surprisingly durable and, unlike some matte lipstick formulas, also moisturizing. Also, this SMLC have been awarded by Temptalia Editors Choice Awards in 2012. These SMLC are packed in a plastic tube with a matte handle. Yep, it gets dirty easily. So keep in mind to always clean it with wipes. The size of these SMLC are about 3/4 size of the usual lip gloss size. Pretty handy and easy to bring along. The applicator is a bit fuzzy but makes the application pretty easy.

My thoughts. LOVE IT. I seriously love it and already consider getting more of these. To tell you the truth, I love collecting lip products but I don't have the discipline and encouragement to always wearing it. Especially lipstick. Its messy and feel "heavy" on the lip. I find that I love lip products that has a cream-paste texture. Just like the Lime Crime Velvetines I reviewed a few months ago. I love a lip product where I feel like painting my lips. If you get what I try to explain here. Haha. No wonder why this SMLC have been love mostly by everyone. It "paste-ty" texture makes its easy to be apply, but a lip pencil is recommended for a more precises application and look for your lips. The pigmentation is build-able (some are pigmented, some are a bit sheer) and easy to control. I loveee the creamy sweet scent this SMLC have. The paste texture and scent makes me so addicted to re apply it over and over again. It is super versatile too. You can get like 3 different texture for this type of lip product. Apply it alone and get a matte finish. Aplly lip balm first then apply this one over to get a semi satin finish. Apply lip balm, this SMLC, and a clear lip gloss to get a glossy finish. I bet you wanna ask right. "Does this SMLC makes your lips dry?" Matte finish always looks dry, the fine lines usually gives this matte finish and we don't want that flaky and chappy type of dry. Glad to say that this does not dry your lips (chappy/flaky), but it give you this drying effect. With a lip balm as a base also help the hydration even better. The downside of this product to my opinion is that it may finish fast. A 3-4 dip of the product of needed to give your a full application on your lips. You kinda need to dig in the applicator in the tube to get the product out. Price wise are amazing, RM25 for each even if you have to re purchase it again and again I think its affordable. It last about 2-3 hours without eating or drinking.

REVIEW & SWATCHES : NYX Round Lipstick in Circe, Ceto & Indiana Pink

NYX Round lipstick have been a popular drugstore Lipstick that have been rave around YouTube and Beauty Blog. So I came across it and purchase some. Below are the NYX Round Lipstick that I owned and used.

Pros :

Affordable, Lots of color Range, Sleek Packaging, wonderful colors!

Cons :

I feel its a bit drying. Best use with Lipgloss or Lipbalm first. The color sometime can be to creamy as it wont stick to the lip for long.

Best apply / Fave style to apply with : The product itself.

Overall Rating : 7/10

Would I repurchase it? : Yes, but for other color.
