Colourpop No Filter Concelaer Full Swatch & Review

First post in 2018! Say what! One of my resolutions is to be more active on my blog. So here it goes haha. Last year, I able to grab my chance to shop at Colourpop during their Holiday sale. 20% off storewide, so a real deal. I always wanted to try their No Filter Concealers. So I manage to grab all shades with the 20% off deal + Free Shipping to Malaysia. A real deal. It was 6.00USD and after discount it was 4.80USD. Approx around RM20.00 each. But my package was supposed to around by end of November, there was a bit of a problem and actually, the delivery man kept my parcel without noticing. After I called around the end of December, then they only said that I have to pick it up myself. Gheess.

A lot of you asked me if I get any custom tax charges. This is my 4th order from Colourpop. Usually, the package that is valued below RM400-500, will not get customs charges. Usually, my Colourpop orders are around RM200+ (50USD+ order total eligible for Free International Shipping). Also they deliver using USPS. The ones that always caught with Custom Tax are DHL. If you find this a hassle, you can also join pre-order spree from IG sellers. If you are on of them, comment down below!
So let's move on to the review. The Colourpop No Filter concealer comes in 15 shades. From the fairest to the darkest. Each concealer comes in a cute pink box and a plastic tube. The applicator reminds me of the Urban Decay Concealer. It has a flexible flat applicator that I actually love because it does not drag my skin when applying it, especially under my eye area.
Here are the swatches for the Colourpop No Filter Concealer in all 15 shades
Top to Bottom : Fair 5, Fair Neutral 10, Light Natural 15, Light 20, Beige 25
Top to Bottom : Medium 30, Medium Tan 35, Golden 40, Deep Beige 45, Tan 50
Top to Bottom : Deep Tan 55, Deep Golden 60, Rich Tan 65, Deep 70, Rich 75

COMPARISON WITH OTHER CONCEALER
Overall : I love the texture of the concealer. It reminds me much of the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer that I repurchase over 3 tubes. It covers up beautifully and does not feel cakey at all. The downside of the concealer is that I could not find a perfect match for my skin tone. As above picture shown the comparison of the Colourpop No Filter Concealer with my other concealer that I usually use. My perfect match is the Tarte Shape Tape in Light Medium & Maybelline Fit Me in Sand. Most of the concealer from Colourpop are peach undertone or looks too neutral. I hope Colourpop will come out with more medium and yellow undertone range in this line. The price point is amazing, but the colour selection is not that variety. My most close shade is Medium 30. For the other darker shades that I have I use it for contouring & shading.

120 Color Eyeshadow Makeup Palette & 15 Color camouflage concealer palette by Supermodels Secrets

I always want a palette full of endless posibilities, and so I opt for this 2 palette that I got from Supermodel Secret. Its like what I call back up, incase i needed some bright green or bright yellow eyeshadow. This is the 120 eyeshadow palette. It comes in a dome look small shaped eyeshadow and yes, look at those colors in the palette. Greens, blue, plums, purples, bright orange, warm tones and more. The another palette is the 15 concealer palette.
It comes in this very light plastic case, it does feel tacky but still it looks neat to me. On the front there is the Supermodel Secret logo sticker.
This 15 concealer palette has a very creamy texture. I actually ahd this before when I just started in to makeup, I hit pan most of it and looovvee this palette. So I got a new one to paly around. The colors are really pigmented and coverage is off the hook! It is great for concealing and contouring.
Then, the 120 palette. The palette comes in a plastic case too, and both side can be detached for easy holding.
On the right side is more of a warm bright colors and on the other side is more of a dark neautral colors.
The pigmentation is pretty okay, a bit chalky to some colors but I find it is still workable and it is sooo much fun to see so many colors in one palette. These palette retails for RM85.00 for the 12 palette and RM43,00 for the 15 concealer palette.

UD Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer Review

Stop what you are doing right now (except for reading this post), because I have an awesome concealer you should check out. I have raved and recommend my friends with this concealer and it is the UD Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. I am on my 3rd bottle now and I am loving it. It somewhat pretty pricey but I just can't get enough of this concealer. This concealer was released in 2014 if I am not mistake. It said that this concealer is an innovative, high-coverage concealer that provides build able, weightless coverage and leaves an invisible, Naked Skin finish. They also have these in the color correction version called the Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid. Same bottle but with different type of hues.

What I like about it. Full coverage but feels light on my skin. Just like the name itself. It is super creamy but easy to blend. I love the applicator. It is not too stiff and it is flexible (in a way it does not drag your skin when apply). It makes the application gentle on to my skin. This concealer is high coverage and last pretty long hours. Cover up my under eye and dark spots perfectly and beautifully without creasing or cakey feeling (even with powder on top).

What I don't like about it. I still can't find my perfect shade and it's pretty pricey. The first shade I got to try is the Medium Neutral. It is a bit dark for me overtime as it oxidize. I have to use a darker foundation to make sure it looks natural and blend to my skintone. Then I purchase my 2nd bottle in the shade Med-Light Neutral. The perfect shade for me! But it get a bit darker after a few minutes. But this still looks good on my face but not on my undereye. As I like a brighter shade for my under eye for that lifting look. Then I go and purchase my 3rd one in the shade Light Warm. Pretty okay for my under eye, a bit too light pulak. I think I have to mix abit of the Light Warm and Med-Light Neutral. Gosh its such a good concealer but even in 12 shades option I can;t seems to blend in a good one!

Overall & Recommendations. If you wanna find that one good concealer to cover up your dark spots and under eye. Go for this! You might wanna buy a lighter shade for your under-eye for that bright effect and a one tone lighter shade for your face as this will oxidize and match your skin perfectly. I hope they will come out with more shades and I think they are as I saw a teaser in the insta feed. Next I really want to try the NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer that people said to be comparable to this one too.
You can purchase this concealer at any Urban Decay beauty counters in their store or Sephora. They retails for RM110.00 each. Comes in 12 shades option. - http://www.sephora.my/brands/urban-decay

M·A·C Studio Conceal and Correct Palette in Medium Review

Looking for a great concealer palette that covers up spots and blemishes like a dream? Try this palette that I am reviewing today! I got this last year and I was in the waiting list as this palette always sold out. The price increased when I bought this because as I remember when I was aiming for this, it was RM230+, and now it is RM158.00. The price can be seen a bit of a splurge but if you do the math, each shades only cost RM26+. Which I think is a great deal. I think these concealer are similar to the single MAC Studio Finish Concealer. Only that they comes in this whole palette. The size of the palette are the same with the 4 empty quad palette. It has a magnetic closure and it feels very high quality when holding it. I love how it has a clear window on the front so i can see the inside product. In this line they have in other 3 options which are Light, Medium Deep & Dark. Mine is in Medium. It said that this concealer infused with antioxidants and suitable for all skin types,
I mainly use this concealer for my spots around my cheeks and face. It works under the eye too but sometimes it can be a bit too thick. For me use a liquid concealer for under the eyes. This palette also can be use for light contouring and sometimes I use the lightest shade to highlight the highest point of my face and blend it with other colors to make it really blend naturally on to my skin. This concealer blend so easily and I like to use this concealer with my finger and blend it with my B105 Brush (coming soon brush from Breena Beauty) and sometimes I like to use my B212 Brush for a precise application around the nose. These concealer does not oxidize. It stays to its true color as what you have swatch. I really recommend this concealer palette! One of my best investment!
From Left to Right : NC30, NW25, NC35, NW35, Mid-Yellow & Mid-Peach.
This palette always sold out, so if you have the chance to purchase it,go get it! Such a great concealer palette for travel and I think also great for a MUA for different skin tone for their clients. This retails for RM158.00 each and they are available at all Mac Cosmetics stores and online - here

L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer Review

One of the most raved drugstore price concealer and it is the LA. Girl Pro Concealer. Comes in wide options of shades. As I know they have 24 shades to choose from. We don't have LA. Girl here in Malaysia. This is a US brand and they cost around 5 dollar over there. I got mine through eBay. They are many sellers selling this over there. You can just search hashtag like #sayajuallaconcealer or #sayajualmakeup all that sorts of hashtag that can lead you to makeup ig seller. Be rajin girls. Over here I got 6 shades. I choose from the lightest to the darkest and my intention of trying these are for contouring as what I usually see the YouTubers are using them. They comes in a plastic tube packaging with a black twist cap and a brush on the tip as the applicator. I got to be honest I hate the applicator. But they are pretty convininet sometimes in brushing or drawing the product on to my face. But I wish they just design the tip just like a pointed tube or so. If you pinch out too hard, you might ending up taking out too much of a product and in some cases it spread out causing a mess all over. So what I usually do it I squeeze out a bit of the product at the back of my hand and use a brush or my finger to spread it all over my face.
Left to Right : L.A. Girl Pro Concealer in Natural, Creamy Beige, Pure Beige, Medium Bisque, Almond, Toast
The shade I got is Natural, Creamy Beige, Pure Beige, Medium Bisque, Almond, Toast. I use Natural and creamy beige mainly for highlighting. Among all, these two color tha I mention is the trouble ones. As you can see they are not as creay as the others. It's a bit watery. Creamy Beige is the one that matches my skintone the most. So use it to mix with the other colors to get that natural concealer effect. Medium Bisque are just a few slight darker shade than my skintone. I usually use this under my eyes as it has a yellow undertone to it. Try to use this for contouring but ending up it does not appear well on my skin. Almond and Toast are the one I use for contouring, the color looks really dark but as I blend in, they look so natural on my skin. But frankly speaking, I reach out the most are Natural (for highlighting) and Toast (for contouring). the others are just plain concealer that appears just like a foundation. They did not do much as what I wanted.
The texture is really creamy and easy to blend (best when it is sill wet). The pigmentation is very intense I could say and one thing I don't like about it is that if you leave it for a while, the formulations starts to get weird. It happen to the 2 shades I mention above. Sometimes, rather than the concealer squeeze out, a "watery" texture came out. So you will need to mix them by squeezing them before opening the cap to mix them well together first. I find that it is too thick if I use this over a high coverage foundation. It feels a bit oily too actually. But if you blend it well and use a good primer as a base, it will blend nicely. I did not really use this to cover my under-eye, I mainly use the dark shade to contour my cheek and it works well. I use my Foundation Buffer brush (coming soon brush from Breena Beauty) to blend everything just like above picture shows. I could say in a nutshell, I don't like the lighter shades I got and I find I use the darker shade more for my contouring. For concealing, I did not see much of using it. I still stick to my favorite concealer to cover my spots and under eye. I use these concealers mainly for highlighting and contouring. Another thing is that if I am using a brush to blend these concealer, I have to keep in mind to go and wash them as soon as I could as this concealer stain my brush so badly and will need a few wash to get it off. Best to finish this off with alight powder to keep it in place. As a drugstore price concealer, this is worth to try but still not a holy grail product for me. Have you tried this and what do you think?

Cuepido Flaws Away Concealer Review

More review from a skin loving ingredient brand, Cuepido! This time around I choose their concealer. As a concealer lover, I always wanted to find more variety of brand and type to try on. This concealer describe as a product where you will get exactly where you want it. With a soft and creamy formula, it provides you with a natural camouflage for your undereye dark circles and other flaws on yur face such as acne spots. It comes in a normal concealer plastic tube with a wand applicator.

1. This is my bare skin. No foundation or any makeup on. I have a very visible acne scar as you can see.
2. I applied a light tinted cream and then I dotted some on each spots.
3. I blend it using my concealer brush thoroughly using stamping motion. So far I can see it covers up my acne spot pretty good.

It's a pretty good concealer that easy to blend too. Pigmentation wise, medium sheer to full coverage. I love the shade that I choose, which is Ivory. It has a yellow undertone and it is perfect to be use under my eye to correct dark circle. The wand itself is a bit of a crazy looking but it does not serve me any problem. I use it to dot around my flaws and blend it with my concealer brush. Comes in 5 different shades to choose from, mine is in Ivory. This product is made from USA and each tube contains 8g of product. This retails for RM85.00 each and you can buy it only at http://www.cuepidocosmetics.com.my/ .

Cathy Doll Cheek Tint + Concealer in Romantic Peach Review

I have been eyeing on this product for such a long time because the look of it. Pastel Pink and a concealer on the end are just so cute! It is the Cathy Doll Cheek Tint and Concealer in just one product. You can use the concealer part to conceal any part of your face, or even create a gradient effect on your lip using both product together. The concealer is pretty fair and I don't this it suits any darker skin tone. The concealer is pretty creamy and I love to use it as a highlighter concealer on some part of my face. For concealer my under eyes, this can be too bright for me as I have light-medium skintone. The cheek tint it self is very creamy too but not as pigmented as a normal cream blush usually have. It has a more liquid and sheer coverage. It's builable too. Works great above the concealer it provide together in this product. The wand it self is awesome because it reminds me of the Urban Decay concealer want. Flexible and picks up product nicely from the tube.

This product also provides you with  sun protection of SPF 15 PA++ . There are 3 color options (the concealer shade are the same basically) which are the one I'm reviewing here is Romantic Peach, there are also another two which are Petite pink & Sexy Orange. This is a pretty great fun product to own if you just love wearing makeup occasionally. Which one catches your eye?

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer Review

The hunt for the best concealer is not yet complete. So I splurge myself for a high end brand concealer. All these years I only tried drugstore brand. So far I am not impressed but I do find some that woks well on me. I love trying out different concealer to really find THE ONE that I would lift this up and say "Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba!" Ok I'm just kidding. I love Tarte since I tried their Amazonian Clay Blush. I also love the concept of product that they have that they are all formulated with no Parabens, Sulfates & Phthalates  ( chemicals that can cause cancer). At first I wanted to get the Amazonian clay waterproof 12-hour concealer. But when I saw it at Sephora, it is so small and I don't think it worth spending on it. This concealer is said to be full coverage, waterproof and creaseless.

What I like about it. The coverage is amazing and the consistency is thick but easy to blend. It has a little bit of brightening effect so it works great for covering my under eye circle. Yes, it does not really crease, By what I mean "does not really" crease it that with the right blending technique. A little goes a long way so if you apply the right amount under your eye, it sets nicely there all day.. I use my Zoeva 110 Face Shape brush to blend it in.  I love the design of the packaging. The lid is made out of this wood which I find sleek! It has this a bit of a sticky consistency which leave my skin moisturize and dewy. I usually top it off with loose powder and it sit nicely all day on my skin.

What I don't like about it. The plastic tube! It is so hard to control how much I want the right amount of product to be dispense out. I always end up with way more than I need and lastly result in waste. Because I don't really need that much. It is a pricey concealer so i do feel that I waste a lot of money if I just swipe it off and throw it away. It is great for under eye but not really on spots. At the end of the day, my undereye makeup looks pretty good but on the spots that i try to hide just starts to fade and leave my spot more noticeable. Because after all this is suggested to be use and best to be use fir your under eye.

Overall & Recommendations. This is a great concealer for your under eye. For my opinion, this need to be set with powder. Or else it can look pretty dewy looking. great for people who have dry to normal skin type & combination. May not suitable for oily skin type. Do mind that it has a sticky consistency and you need a good loose powder or powder to set it in. I heard Ben Nye Powder works great with this. This is still not the best concealer that I would repurchase again because I might want to try and find other brand that worth investing in.
