Hello everyone! Still on a holiday mood? or just pump up for a new weekend. After this long holiday, let's get back up to the things you wanna do and achieve okay. Today will be an interesting post where I share an info that I trust a lot of you would love to know. Ever wonder where to get the sources/networking for for dream business...especially when it involves beauty? Of course the important part is the idea and plan. But it would not happen if you did not know where to get help. Read till the end of this post to know more!

As you may know I am the Co-Founder of Breena Beauty. It is a small business / makeup line of mine that I started last year and in shaa Allah growing till now. I did a lot of research for 4 years a while back when I took my degree. After I graduated, I work and save up some capital and there is where Breena Beauty were founded. So, what and how did I do my research? Well I mainly depend on the internet, but for me I need to get off my feet and get more sources of suppliers and manufacturer to help create my idea into the products I want to offer to my customers. Of course, communicating just by email is risky too. Travel to the factory on each country that is long listed would be impossible and not costly right. As for now I only have some makeup brushes, and I want to expand my brand to a more variety of makeup products. hint! hint! *wink*

How I organize my lip products

Happy Tuesday everyone. I did not get the chance to blog that much. My laptop lags so much. I think its time. Hm. Oh well. No budget for that. haha. So just a quick fun post I thought would like to share with you guys on how I sort my lip products or lipsticks. As you know I have these plastic drawers for a while. I sort all of my make-up with its different type. So I basically have 3 drawers just for my lip products. One is for my lip care/lip balm and the other two here are my lipsticks/lip colour product. So I thought this would be a great tip on how you can really used all of your product especially lipstick. How I sort it out is by colours. As you can see in the picture I have two drawers for these. I separate it in the first drawers with Nudes,Mauve,Earth Tone lip products on the left side and Orange, Peach, Coral tone lip products on the right side. I use a divider that I got from Daiso. The second drawer serve as a more bright lip colors. On the left side are Reds, Dark & plumps. Sometime that I don' really wear everyday. Haha. On the right side are Pinks and pinksss!

I just mix all of my lip products from lip gloss to tints and such in colour order. So when I want to wera pink, I just can grab in the pink section whether its lip gloss or lipstick. I find it easier. Oh in case you are wondering, the drawers that I got here is from Robinson. I bought it at the home section/kitchen section at The Gardens Mid Valley Robinson. These drawers are actually comes in 3 levels. They are similar to the Muji PP Plastic Drawers but cheaper. It cost around RM28.90 each. I got 5 of them! Haha. These drawers are always stock up. From what I believe they are not limited. Sometimes they are out of stock, but when I come visit again, they are available back. So check out often! So what do you think of organizing lip products using colors instead of brands & type?

Love, Sabrina ^^

CHANGE :
YELLOW = This is where you paste your social media links. For example, Instagram (www.instagram.com/yourusername). You know the drill.

RED = change the number to your preferred size. If the size of the button don't fit well in your gadget, try to adjuct the numbers. smaller or bigger. Its up to you! Play around with it. If you wanna make it bigger, just increase the number to make it fit better or smaller or something like that. :)

PURPLE = This is the image direct link that i provide for you. Its a standard simple grey round social media button. But if you wanna create your own, sure you can. Just upload it in Photobucket or something and copy the Direct Image code and paste it in the purple section. Additional notes, PNG formats works nicer!

How to have a PayPal account for Online Shopping without Credit Card

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I realize that most of you don't have a PayPal account and know how to shop in online store such as eBay. You might as well said, I don't have credit card. Paypal is a payment getaway that guarantee you security and safe money transaction. Don't worry, we have Paypal office here in Malaysia and same goes to eBay. Both of these company are recognize and not a fraud. Most online stores accept Paypal. Paypal is very useful especially when you don't have credit card like me. So if you have an ATM card/Debit Card, that is enough. I feel bad whenever I share stuff I bought from eBay and you guys can't get it. eBay made easy with Paypal. I have shop in eBay for years. Alhamdulilah, I never get conned or what so ever. My parcel always arrive as it promise. So not only eBay but in other international webstore such as etsy.com , and more. So I have been holding to post this post for so many times as I just can't get around to it. Editing boring photos can be the points that does not encourage me to do this. But I think this post will be helpful to some of you! So let's get into it!

1. Go to https://www.paypal.com/ . Don't worry if the url is relocating to /my at the back. It is because you are located in Malaysia.

2. Choose the Individual account. I don't have Business Account so I can't comment on that. I think it is for business owners to help with their business transaction.

3. As you click on the Individual Account you will be directed straight to registering your account. So fill in your details as usual.

4. And continue fill in your details such as address and phone number.

5. Then you will need to fill in the verification code just to make sure you are a real human. haha. I don't know if that make sense.

6. The main part. Registering your debit card or debit card! Actually both credit card and debit card are the same. The difference is that if you are using debt card, all of your shopping payment will be deducted from your savings account. So fill in the details such as the Card Number, Expiry date, and the CVV number that you can get at the back of your card.
*Just a note, make sure there is at least RM20 in your bank account to proceed to this registering. The money will not be deducted but just to verify that the account is active.

7. And you are ready to go! Continue to see your account dashboard.

8. In the mean time you also will be receiving an email to activate and verify your account.

9. This is what your dashboard account look like. The PayPal balance means the money that you have on your PayPal account. This is where you get when someone sends you money. If its from USD, it will be converted to MYR send you can view it there. You can also use the money from your Paypal Account to make payment transaction. If you balance is 0.00, your payment transaction will be taken from you saving account that is link with your Debit Card. My recent activity will record your Paypal transaction on when you receiving money or when you transfer your ,money to your saving account. You can add your bank details like as below.

10. Just click at Profile and add.\/edit your bank account or even add more card to your paypal account.

11. You can view all of your debit card/credit card there. You can add or re add or delete the cards to your preference.

So that is all the steps! When you check out and want to make payment. Choose Paypal, and then it will direct to the Paypal website and ask you to sign in. When you successfully sign in, it will first then show you the payment you need to made and ask for your confirmation. Then PayPal will use your debit card that you have register to make the payment. Later you will see the amount of money in your bank account that is link with your debit card will be deducted. More info on this do stay tune to my next post on hoe to shop at eBay. I will show you on how it works! Tata!

Do you have a PayPal account?

Holiday Skincare Tips with SK-II

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡.  Today I am going to share with you some skincare tips when going on a holiday! Did you know that the type of weather – hot, cold, humid, dry or windy – can really affect your skincare routine? So I am going to cover on 2 different types of weather we commonly experience during holiday and how one should take care of skin under these conditions! Obviously the pictures below are photoshopped just to give you a little picture of the seasons! Haha!

Hot weather? Yes, it’s summer time! These tips can be applied to those of us who live in countries which experience the summer season as well as anyone who would love to come to Malaysia where it’s summer all year long! Other countries that experience hot weather all year long are Middle Eastern countries, Asian countries such as Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia; Puerto Rico and places such as the beaches. So if you are planning to go there, here are some tips and things you need to bring along!

Clean – Hot weather makes your skin sweaty and sticky which in means that you pick up a whole lot of dirt on your face. You need to clean your face at least twice a day. So a good cleanser that helps to remove all impurities is the answer! Try the SK-II Facial Treatment Gentle Cleanser. This foam cleanser with a natural rose scent cleanses impurities around and inside pores while enveloping your skin with silky smoothness.

Prevent Sun Damage – Protect yourself from the sun’s harsh UV rays. Using sunscreen is one of the most important routine in your skincare steps. Remember, sun exposure can cause alot of damage to your skin! Especially when you go out tanning, you need to protect your skin from the harmful UV Rays. Try the SK-II Cellumination Day Surge that can give you protection as well as translucent glow!

Moisturise Correctly – Under hot weather, using a heavy moisturiser can be uncomfortable for your skin. So try to choose a light essence as your moisturiser. Something that is not heavy but which can still give you the hydration you need. In Asia, moisturiser is also known as milk. It is much lighter, try the SK-II Facial Treatment Milk to help your skin cope with the heat and possible humidity in hot countries.

Now, to the cold weather places! I am imagining European countries, Korea, Japan and more! People like me, who usually experience hot humid weather, need to take a little precaution on what skincare we have to bring when we visit cold countries! In cold weather, the air has less moisture and can cause dryness to your skin! So here some tips on how to deal with dryness.

Hydrate – Drink lots of water to retain your skin hydration. Your lips can also be super chapped and your skin will turn dull no thanks to dehydration. Personally, I think that the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence would be ideal to bring along wherever you holiday. I think it suits both hot and cold weather and can be used for to combat skin dryness.

Heavy Moisturising – Owing to the dry weather in cold countries using a good deep, heavy moisturizer is a must! Use a good heavy moisturizer that can last through the day and that can help to keep your skin brighter without making you look like a sick person. Try the SK-II Cellumination Deep Surge Ex. This product is packed with all the hydration you will need.

Pampering – Treat your skin right! Give your skin a little pampering with a good mask! This provides more concentration to your skin and works wonders! Try the SK-II Facial Treatment Mask. I have tried it and it is seriously good. Even Harper’s Bazaar recommends using it during winter!

Does SPF Value can be added by more than one product?

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone! Yes! I have been struggling to post a blog post because since the new year I have been struggling to my resolution. I want to work harder this year and achieve my goals! Insya Allah... So today I wanna share a tips for you guys. this topic is one of the things I have been searching for quite sometimes. Its about sunscreen/sunblock. Understanding more about Sun protection product. There are alot of topic to be covered. Today is about is the SPF value can be added? I have this perception of the more SPF product I use the better. NO! So I have illustrated some situation for you guys to understand better about it. This is just the basic, through some research I made.

SITUATION 1 : ALL OF MY PRODUCT THAT CONTAINS SPF ADD VALUE TO THE PROTECTION I'M GETTING
ANSWER : NO! SPF does not add value through product you are using. SPF only works to the first SPF product you are using.

SITUATION 2 : THE FIRST PRODUCT THAT CONTAINS SPF IS THE PROTECTION VALUE I'M GETTING FROM THE SUN.
ANSWER : YES! Your skin will be protected to the product that contains SPF that is nearest to the skin. That is the first product that contain SPF. In Situation 2, Your have applied moisturizer first instead of Sunblock. So the protection you will be getting is from the moisturizer although Sunblock have higher SPF value than the moisturizer. If you prefer to use the moisturizer first but you want protection from the sunblock product, use the sunblock first. Will be discuss in the overall picture.

SITUATION 3 : THE LAST PRODUCT THAT CONTAINS SPF VALUE IS PROTECTING MY SKIN.
ANSWER : NO! As told before, the product that contains value that is nearest to the bare skin is the protection value you will be getting. If in Situation 3 the moisturizer does not have SPF value, Yes, SPF in makeup product does protects your skin. Product that combines with SPF does work, but may have disadvantages. (I can't assume anything yet about the disadvantages, this is just the basic about add SPF value.)

SITUATION 4 : I DON'T USE SUNBLOCK, BUT MY MOISTURIZER THAT CONTAINS SPF DO PROTECT MY SKIN FROM THE SUN.
ANSWER : YES. As mention, product that is combine with SPF ingredient does protect your skin and since it is the first product applied to the skin, it protect you skin as what the product SPF value served.

OVERALL :
As picture shown, the dangerous UV Rays strikes through all of you product reaching to your skin. The first product that is closest to the skin will protect you. Remember, SPF does not protect your skin 100%. There are values that need to be understand but still, SPF product protection is a must in skin care routine and advise to be re-apply every 2 hours during the whole day outdoors. I hope the illustrated picture by me give you better understanding.

Will be covering more about Understanding SPF Product & Protection in the future!

**I am not a beauty consultant nor a professional. The data I gather is based on my research through a lot of websites and videos by professional.

Hugs and kisses
