1940's Pin Up Girl Inspire Makeup using drugstore products | KARMARTS MALAYSIA

Hit rewind! I am going to do a 1940's inspired makeup look today! What I see in 1940's pin up makeup is that the look usually emphasizes on those arched dark brows. Paired with a natural eye shadow with a deep crease and a winged eyeliner. Clean fair porcelain skin with a light contour. Topped with a red lip to complete the look. Watch my video below on how I created this look using all products from KARMARTS MALAYSIA! Below the video, I also did a short review on each product used in the video.

PRODUCTS USED IN THE VIDEO :

First I prep my skin with some mask and essence. First I use the Cucumber & Aloe Vera Serum Mask and the Aloe Vera & Fresh Collagen Eye Mask for 15 minutes. After that, I prep my face using the Milky Splash Essence. This essence gives my skin an instant hydrating and softening effect. Now my skin is ready for makeup application.

For the base, I am using the Cathy Doll CC Cream SPF50PA++ in Beige. I add up some warmth on to y face by mixing it a bit with the dark color from the Highlight + Sculpting Cushion. I am also using the Cathy Doll Speed White CC Powder Pact to set everything.

I am also using this Ice Cream Magic Blender to blend in the CC Cream and Highlight + Shading Cushion.

For the eyes, I am using the Cathy Doll Nude Me Eyeshadow Palette in 01 Nude. For the eyeliner I am using the Baby Bright Black Charcoal Pen Eyeliner and topped my lashes with the Baby Bright Deep Forest Mascara. For the brows, I am using the Cathy Doll Realbrow AD Tattoo Tint. 

For light contouring on the cheeks, I am using the 3D Face Foard Nefertiti Contour Kit. Added a bit of blush using the Baby Bright Shea Butter Sheer Blush in Fushia Pink.

Finishes the look using the Nude Me Liquid Lip Matte in Burgundy Red.

IN2IT BB 24 Hour 5 In 1 Make-Up Cream First Impression, Test & Review

Hello, everyone! I just settle down for a bit with my moving process.  also got a new lighting for my video! Yay! *pops confetti*. I was so excited and I decide to do a little review on this new BB Make-Up Cream that I found out recently. It is from IN2IT and it is called the BB Cream 24 hours 5 in One Makeup. It comes in 2 shades. Natural & Flesh. I went for Flesh shade in the video as I find the yellow undertone in it matches my skin perfectly. Why 5 in 1? This BB Make-Up Cream is amazing! It can be your Foundation as this has full coverage just like a foundation will give you. But at the same time, it won't leave your face looking cakey and it blends so nicely on to the skin.You will no need to prep your skin with a base or primer as this also comes with that benefit. It can also be your Makeup Base & Primer as this smoothes pores and control sebum. It is also infused with Vitamin E, Olive Derivatives, and Aloe Vera. Due to its amazing coverage, this can also be your concealer. If you watched my video, it really covers my redness and spots. Lastly, it can be your Sun Protection as this BB Make-Up Cream comes in sun protection of SPF50+. Protecting your skin from harmful UV Rays.

Here is a before & after image after using the IN2IT BB Make-Up Cream. I love the texture of the BB Make-Up Cream. It is not too thick or too light. It blends so nicely on to the skin and the coverage is buildable.

After applying the BB Make-Up Cream I set it with the loose powder that it came with the introduction pack. This loose powder comes in 1 shade that is so natural and can suit any skin tone. The texture of the loose powder is very fine and most likely reminds me of a translucent powder. Does not leave any white cast effect but kind of really blends into the natural skin-tone. It comes in a jar and also comes with a puff.

From the image above you can see that the loose powder really has a natural finish. It sets my makeup and leaves my skin feels comfortable and matte. Usually, the loose powder comes in a huge jar but I kinda adore and appreciate how compact this loose powder is. Very travel-friendly! Love the pink lid too hehe. I have dry skin so I don't really touch up during the day. If you have oily skin, you ca keep this in your bag for touch up. This loose powder absorb excess oil and mattifies your face leaving your skin feeling comfortable.

4 Ways to use PIXY Two Way Cake

PIXY UV Whitening Two Way Cake! Who does not know it? I have been loving it for years and I bet you guys have tried it and love it too! It is affordable and it delivers so well! Dry Technique is simple; it is basically your everyday makeup application style. Simply using the sponge provided and gently apply it with a sponge using downward strokes from the center to the outer of your face  following the direction of your facial hair so that the finishing would look natural and seamless. For more coverage, simply apply another layer. I love how it refreshes my skin to make it looks natural and brighter!

To give foundation effect. By simply damp the sponge with a room temperature water (make sure to squeeze any excess water). With the damp sponge, use it to apply the powder on to your face. Apply using the same dry method application and repeat the steps if you want a fuller coverage.

Now the fun part! To do shading The darkest shade of all 5. Damp the sponge and the folded it into half to create a narrow shape. This way I can easily shade my cheek and start adding the darker shades to contour my entire face.

Apply the PIXY Two Way Cake in Tropical Beige on your cheek bone, outer part of the forehead, side of your jaw and for a slimmer nose effect, on the side of your nose. Then I use the PIXY Two Way Cake in the shade White Cream to Highlight. I apply it on my forehead, top bridge of my nose, chin and top part of my cheek bone. UD X Gwen Collection Review

Nanananananana... What's up guys! As promise, I wanted to give you my thoughts on these new products that just arrive here in Malaysia! It has been all over YouTube internationally and it finally arrive here. It is a collaboration between Urban Decay & the legend... (wait for it...) DARY, Gwen Stefani. First product that was launch were her eyeshadow palette that looks like the blush palette that I am going to show you guys but that palette instead of a white circle, it has a black circle. I have seen the palette in Sephora and it is so gorgeous and I wish I have it! Ok back to this one, along with the blush palette, they also release 5 new 24/7 lip liners shades and 8 new lipsticks.

This Urban Decay Gwen Stefani blush palette comes in a #so #gwen theme, black and gold packaging. This palette is limited edition, take note ladies! The packaging is made out of a high quality plastic that does not feel tacky at all and on the side it has this metal plate embossed logo. Super sleek. The closure is magnetic and feels sturdy and nice when holding. In this palette it consist of 6 cheek color shades. What I like about it is that the versatility of shades it has in this palette, not only you can use it as a blush, but there is also a highlight shade (Angel) and a natural blush shade that can be use for contouring (Lo-Fi). Some of the are shimmery, satin and matte.

My favorite shades has to be Angel, Lo-Fi, Hush and OC. I will show you on how I apply these shades on my cheeks in my video below. The blush are very buttery, easy to blend and pigmented! Does not feels chalky at all. This palette was describe and stated by them that it has 4 x 0.09 oz Blush in Cherry (light pink satin), Easy (deep rose with gold shimmer), Angel (champagne-nude shimmer), Hush (medium pink with gold shimmer), 1 x0.09 oz Bronzer in Lo-Fi (soft bronze matte) & 1x 0.09 oz Highlighter in OC (soft pink with peach shift). I thought Angel was the highlighter. Meh. This blush palette retails for RM30.

I got one lipstick and a lip liner in the shade Wonderland. The full collection are as below shown. The lip liner retails for RM78.00 each. Come in 5 new shades with same formulation as their permanent 2/7 lip liners line. Only the design of the pencil is different to suit the theme.The lipstick is RM85 each. The shade Wonderland that I got looks like a true red but actually it is a Bright red with pink undertone. From my opnon the finish is more of a satin finish. They are super hydrating and pigmented. You can see it on how I apply it on my lips. Smooth and super pigmented!

Michelle Phan Make Up Your Life Book Review

I had this for a while now and I read it a few times. Pretty much more to like flipping and looking though some pictures and read some words in it haha. This retails for RM79.90 and it comes in a hard cover. This is Michelle Phan first book and I heard she is coming out with a 2nd book. I am not sure about that, basically rumors or I misheard it. The full name of this book is Make Up Your Life: Your Guide to Beauty, Style, and Success - Online and off. Basically a book about Michelle Phan journey and along the way she shares her beauty tips. I find that she is an inspiration from where she comes from. So I bought this book as a support and would love to know more about her as an inspiration.

At first I thought this book is going to be filled with pictures and pictorials. On the first & second chapter she mostly talks about her journey and her passion in makeup and art. It was an interesting story. Move along she has a chapter divided into all categories such as Skincare, hair, fashion tips and also about self improvement too. It's a pretty great book but I was expecting more graphic from her. The tips and inspirational stories she shares in her book are really great for everyone especially young girls. My favorite part was the one that she shares about her life journey and tips and "nasihat" she gave to us especially when we are in this whole big digital world. On what not to do to other people and how to be nice. You know hoe many mean people are out there in this internet world right. She even have a topic about how to do job interviews and even how to prepare your resume.

I got mine from Popular Book store, but when I revisit I don't seem to find that they restock it anymore. I find an option for you guys where you can buy it online through MPH here - (click me).
