Etude House Play 101 Pencil Review & Swatch | 12,17,23,24,25

A multi purpose makeup pencil! Have been dying to own these. Basically it is a color makeup pencil that can be use as an eyeliner, blush, lipliner, concealer and more based on your creativity! 50 shades to choose from and on my first batch, I choose more of a lip shades. I wanted to have some more variety of lip liners, so I opt for these. They comes in so many different finishes such as glossy, matte, glitter, shimmery and more. What I like about it is that they comes in their own individual color box and indicator on the bottom of the pencil.
Plus point, these pencil are retractable, so I don't need to sharpen and ruin the pencil. Each color shades and number are placed on the bottom of the pencil. Over here I got in the shade 12, 17, 23, 24 & 25.
Shades Description :
#12 (Glossy) - A true red shade, super pigmented and smooth.
#17 (Creamy) - A cool tone pink with matte finish.
#23 (Glossy) - Dark red tone, smooth and pigmented
#24 (Creamy) - Really? It is not creamy at all, I think I got a bad batch here. It is so dry and flaky, I can even swatch it properly. So sad. I think it is a deep burgundy shade.
#25 (Glossy) - A barbie undertone shade. creamy and pigmented.

Each Etude Play 101 pencil retails for RM39.90, Hermo usually has offer for these (I got mine for RM19.80 each) , purchase it here - click me

Etude House Baby Choux Base in Berry Choux

Name : Etude House Baby Choux Base
Shades Available : 3 different base color, 01 Mint, 02 Berry (the one I am reviewing) , 03 Peach
Price : RM69.00
Availability : Etude House Outlets
Made in : Korea
Net Weight : 25g

What it claims:
This light and fluffy choux cream - like makeup base creates baby choux skin with its moist inside and soft smoothness on the outside.

This comes in a semi transparent glass jar. Pretty cute right! It comes in a box and supposedly there is a spoon in it to scoop out the product. Unfortunately, I don't get the spoon! :( The texture pretty much reminds me of the famous Urban Decay Primer Potion. Like seriously, but I tested if its really similar to the primer potion, I use it on my eye lid. but nope. Although the texture is the same, but it does not act like a eye primer. Definitely it is only for the face. As I applied it, my face feel kinda matte, but not really matte. A lil powdery also another finishing feel to it. Mine is the Berry Choux, the peachy color to this base does help correct my skin tone and looks healthier and brighter. During humid days, my faces tends to get oily and this does not really help. My pores around my nose kinda appears bigger. I love to use this during the night. This does feels a lil heavy on my skin actually. Most people kinda love this, Well I love it only during the nights. It have a very sweet scent to it, and I think it kinda really match the theme of the collection.

Overall / Verdict:

Precious Mineral Any Cushion Review

Name : Precious Mineral Any Cushion Etude House
Price : RM109.90 (Case + Refill)
Availability : September 2013 in any Etude House outlets in Malaysia (for Malaysia) *As for now, the first shade available on above date is Honey Beige W24 (as product review shade)
Made in : Korea
Main Ingredient : Hyaluronic Acid, Sebum Control Powder, Pearl Powder

What it claims :
Anyone can have long-lasting bright and smooth skin with Any Cushion anytime, anywhere!

Function
(Featuring a All in One foundation in just one application):
UV protection (SPF50+/PA+++)
Sebum control
Moisturizing(Moisture Lock)
Whitening
Color Correction Sunscreen
Sebum Powder
Moisturizing essence
Whitening essence +
Foundation
Cooling

The New Innovation :
As you can see this foundation is pretty unique. It has a sponge soaking up all the foundation in the pink case. The sponge in the case which actually hold up all the product inside is called "Foaming Urethane Foam". It is a development of optimal holding technique considering of both fresh sunblock texture and sanitary container. Another feature are the "Non flowing" concept. This result in a "cell trap" innovation, a lil bit of science going on here, i pretty much new to this. To make it easy its kinda hold the goodness of the product content unlike other product in tubes or bottle which only stays flat inside it.

The Air Puff :
Another product highlights are the blue sponge is actually made out of Rubycell + Polyurethane. Comparing to the ordinary sponges you usually have in your compact powder or buy in stores, this features a minimal product absorption. So you wont get waste to your product which usually thrown away when you wash your sponge right.

How to take care of the sponge :

Packaging:
Super compact, easy to bring anywhere. Made out of plastic and I don't think it would be a problem for traveling. The divider between product and sponge storage is divided. Hygienic and easy storing.

Texture/How it feels when applied:
As another feature of this product is its cooling effect. Well not that minty feeling, but yes I do agree, it feels so nice on the skin. Light and easy to blend. Just pat pat pat and you're done!

Pigmentation/Coverage: I might say its a light to medium coverage. Does not cover spots and acne scar pretty good. But it really does cover my redness nicely. I might say its a dewy finish at a few minutes but then tends to adsorb and look pretty natural on the skin. Honey Beige have a yellow undertone shade taht I think suits fair-medium skin tone.

Scent: No overpowering scent or funny scent. I may say its kinda like a fragrance free product because no scent have been concentrated while I'm applying this.

Ease of Use: Really easy, prefect for beginner  The sponge really helps a lot. Does not adsorb so much product resulting in waste and over patchy application to the skin.

Overall / Verdict:
 photo 4halfstar_zps006b9d7c.png
I don't recommend this for people whole love heavy coverage makeup, or the main purpose of application is to cover up acne. Its a very good everyday go to foundation. In one application you are protected with sunscreen (50 SPF), Its moisturize, yes it does and have a whitening benefit purposes. I love love love using this product during my lazy and a casual day simple makeup mood. Does makes you skin look softer and healthy. Use a good concealer to cover up any imperfection and you are good to go! But I don't really like to applying powder after using this, i find they don't really go together. Well, its my opinion.

REVIEW : Rant & Raves of Foundation I ever used!

My first ever foundation that i bought is the Maybelline Clear smooth foundation. But i dont have it here because it was lke 5 years ago. ;p I still remember that time when i am very noob about make up, how to buy it, choose the color the amount need to be used etc etc. After years of learning from magazines and especially YOUTUBE! YouTube have been my fave site forever! YouTube is the place where i learn anything i desire... From makeup, Painting, and other things too! Enough of babbling the story of my makeup lets go on with the review on all the foundation i ever used!

Pros :
Superb coverage! Matches skin tone perfectly! Does not leave face look like that weird fair looking skin. Long for hours especially you wear it with a good primer. Cover redness and spot nicely!

Cons :
Does not come with a pump resulting in over split product. Gets to cakey if you put too much on the face because the liquid is a bit thick. Price was ok, but not to affordable.

Overall Rating : 8/10
Would I repurchase it? : Yes but i will be my second best choice!
