Urban Decay is now available in Johor Bahru! | Shop Tour

Urban Decay has taken Malaysia by storm. At first we could get access on Urban Decay's product through Sephora stores. Now they have their own flagship store. For now there are 3 stores and counting. First one is in Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur, 2nd is in IOI City Mall, Putrajaya and 3rd is in Jusco Tebrau City Johor Bahru.  manage to come over to give you guys a quick shop tour around Urban Decay store. Basically what is the "extra" about Urban Decay stores is that they have more products than what is in Sephora. They have more exclusive products and of course, more shades option for you. The Urban Decay 3rd store is located on the ground floor just beside Shu Eumura flagship store in Jusco Tebrau City. So lets tour around this piece of heaven!
The lipstick junkie heaven. As you know Urban Decay launch a whole lot of lipstick shades with different types of finishes. Each Vice Lipstick retails for RM70. In stores there are 100 shades to choose from. There are finishes such as Mega Matte, Comfort Matte, Cream, Metallized, Sheer & Sheer Shimmer. If you are overwhelm by the colors selection, download the "Vice Lipstick" app in App store to experiement with different shades on your picture.

On the face section they also carry the Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup (RM155.00) and the newest addition, the All Nighter Liquid Foundation (RM155.00). I think they have lot of shades to choose here comparing to what Sephora carries. Below is the 24/7 Concealer Pencil (RM75.00). Great for contouring too and trust me is is so creamy and blendable.
I can see that they have all of the eyeshadow singles. I have a plan to collect some as I love Urban Decay eyeshadow and I have a few favorites and hit pan shades in my Naked palette. Would be great to have some singles on the favorite shades. Each single eyeshadow retails for RM90.
Of course, everyone favorites, teh Naked palette. 1,2,3, basic and more. The newest edition is the Naked Ultimate Basic. Look at the swatches, aaa so pretty!

I also saw the popular Beached Bronzer (RM104.00) and theAfterglow 8-Hour Powder Blush (RM98.00). 16 shades to choose from! I got myself a highlighter and is is the trio palette and the singles are sold in boxes like below. Each Naked Illuminated Shimmering Powder retails for RM103.00.
There are a lot ore products but I did not manage to take some pictures. I was overwhelm by the makeup products, playing swatches here and there haha. Feel free to visit one of the Urban Decay store soon!
This is the Naked Vault Volume II ! It is not for sale but if you are feeling lucky, you might win this! All you have to do is spend a min RM350 in the stores. This giveaway ends 9th December 2016. It is the perfect NAKED package!
I also got some products in the stores. Here is the Sephora & in store exclusive, The Blackmail Vice Lipstick Palette (RM180) and the right one is the Naked Illuminated Trio (RM155.00). It contains 3 Shimmering Powder for the face and body. From left to right the shades are Pyrite (gold-champagne), Oasis (marbled frosted taupe) and Twilight (iridescent pink).

UD Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer Review

Stop what you are doing right now (except for reading this post), because I have an awesome concealer you should check out. I have raved and recommend my friends with this concealer and it is the UD Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer. I am on my 3rd bottle now and I am loving it. It somewhat pretty pricey but I just can't get enough of this concealer. This concealer was released in 2014 if I am not mistake. It said that this concealer is an innovative, high-coverage concealer that provides build able, weightless coverage and leaves an invisible, Naked Skin finish. They also have these in the color correction version called the Naked Skin Color Correcting Fluid. Same bottle but with different type of hues.

What I like about it. Full coverage but feels light on my skin. Just like the name itself. It is super creamy but easy to blend. I love the applicator. It is not too stiff and it is flexible (in a way it does not drag your skin when apply). It makes the application gentle on to my skin. This concealer is high coverage and last pretty long hours. Cover up my under eye and dark spots perfectly and beautifully without creasing or cakey feeling (even with powder on top).

What I don't like about it. I still can't find my perfect shade and it's pretty pricey. The first shade I got to try is the Medium Neutral. It is a bit dark for me overtime as it oxidize. I have to use a darker foundation to make sure it looks natural and blend to my skintone. Then I purchase my 2nd bottle in the shade Med-Light Neutral. The perfect shade for me! But it get a bit darker after a few minutes. But this still looks good on my face but not on my undereye. As I like a brighter shade for my under eye for that lifting look. Then I go and purchase my 3rd one in the shade Light Warm. Pretty okay for my under eye, a bit too light pulak. I think I have to mix abit of the Light Warm and Med-Light Neutral. Gosh its such a good concealer but even in 12 shades option I can;t seems to blend in a good one!

Overall & Recommendations. If you wanna find that one good concealer to cover up your dark spots and under eye. Go for this! You might wanna buy a lighter shade for your under-eye for that bright effect and a one tone lighter shade for your face as this will oxidize and match your skin perfectly. I hope they will come out with more shades and I think they are as I saw a teaser in the insta feed. Next I really want to try the NARS Creamy Radiant Concealer that people said to be comparable to this one too.
You can purchase this concealer at any Urban Decay beauty counters in their store or Sephora. They retails for RM110.00 each. Comes in 12 shades option. - http://www.sephora.my/brands/urban-decay

UD X Gwen Collection Review

Nanananananana... What's up guys! As promise, I wanted to give you my thoughts on these new products that just arrive here in Malaysia! It has been all over YouTube internationally and it finally arrive here. It is a collaboration between Urban Decay & the legend... (wait for it...) DARY, Gwen Stefani. First product that was launch were her eyeshadow palette that looks like the blush palette that I am going to show you guys but that palette instead of a white circle, it has a black circle. I have seen the palette in Sephora and it is so gorgeous and I wish I have it! Ok back to this one, along with the blush palette, they also release 5 new 24/7 lip liners shades and 8 new lipsticks.

This Urban Decay Gwen Stefani blush palette comes in a #so #gwen theme, black and gold packaging. This palette is limited edition, take note ladies! The packaging is made out of a high quality plastic that does not feel tacky at all and on the side it has this metal plate embossed logo. Super sleek. The closure is magnetic and feels sturdy and nice when holding. In this palette it consist of 6 cheek color shades. What I like about it is that the versatility of shades it has in this palette, not only you can use it as a blush, but there is also a highlight shade (Angel) and a natural blush shade that can be use for contouring (Lo-Fi). Some of the are shimmery, satin and matte.
My favorite shades has to be Angel, Lo-Fi, Hush and OC. I will show you on how I apply these shades on my cheeks in my video below. The blush are very buttery, easy to blend and pigmented! Does not feels chalky at all. This palette was describe and stated by them that it has 4 x 0.09 oz Blush in Cherry (light pink satin), Easy (deep rose with gold shimmer), Angel (champagne-nude shimmer), Hush (medium pink with gold shimmer), 1 x0.09 oz Bronzer in Lo-Fi (soft bronze matte) & 1x 0.09 oz Highlighter in OC (soft pink with peach shift). I thought Angel was the highlighter. Meh. This blush palette retails for RM30.
From Left to Right : Cherry, Easy, Angel, Lo-Fi, Hush, OC

I got one lipstick and a lip liner in the shade Wonderland. The full collection are as below shown. The lip liner retails for RM78.00 each. Come in 5 new shades with same formulation as their permanent 2/7 lip liners line. Only the design of the pencil is different to suit the theme. The lipstick is RM85 each. The shade Wonderland that I got looks like a true red but actually it is a Bright red with pink undertone. From my opnon the finish is more of a satin finish. They are super hydrating and pigmented. You can see it on how I apply it on my lips. Smooth and super pigmented!

Mac & Sephora Haul

What's up guys! It's a new weekend and I hope you are all well! Recently I decide to treat my self for something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. I wanted to do some shopping spree on some makeups I have been wanting to try. So I did haha! I went to JBCC Komtar and did some shopping. I visited Mac and Sephora and I would like to do some haul! I love haul post, pretty nossy me but I think its fun to see what people are grabbing while they are in a makeup store. So let see what I got!
From Sephora I sis a repurchase on my ultimate favorite concealer which is the Urban Decay Naked SKin Concealer. But this time 2 shades lighter. This is my 3rd bottle if you are keen to know how much I love this concealer. Will do a full review on this soon okay! Second I grab the Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. Heard good reviews on it and thought of trying it. The packaging is cute too!
This was an unplanned purchase. I was actually plan to buy the Too Faced Better than s** mascara. But it seems like it was never restock at the Sephora Johor outlet. Everytime when I come it is always out of stock. I hope Too Faced will be available soon in the Sephora website so I can grab the mascara on the spot when it is available. I wanted a new mascara so I was hesitating on buying other than the Too Faced. So I saw this and I thought it was the greatest deal ever. A set of 4 different mascara from Benefit and the Push up liner. In deluxe size. Which mean similar to a full size but in a smaller portion. Since mascara can be used only within 3 months I think this is enough. I also can try all beneft mascara and if I happen to really like any of them, I can buy the full size without a doubt right! This set cost me RM180, which mean each product cost like a drugstore mascara.
Then I pay Mac a visit. As you know I have a few things in mind from Mac, so grab some products that I have been dying to try out. I got the Minirelize Skin Finish Natural in Medium Plus. It is in their new packaging. A lot of people say it is a great powder to set your makeup. Then I grab some blushes. I got in the shade Melba & Harmony. I wanna use Harmony for bronzing. Been looking for a pale brown tone blush for the longest time. Most bronzers I find are too dark for me, so I went for this. Let see if it's a good one.
Of course, my 2016 wishlist goals! I wanted to try Mac Lipstick. I never own one and I decide to start collecting them. I wanted the Ariana Grande Lipstick but it was sold out. So I just grab the other shades that I have been suggested by you guys and some of the shades I find that may look good on me and a lot of people have been loving it. From Left to right I got in the sahde, Sin, Whril, Velvet Teddy and Kinda Sexy. So that's all! It was a guilty pleasure haha! Shopping ban next? I'm not sure. LOL! Anyway you can also shop online for these goodies here - http://www.maccosmetics.com.my http://www.sephora.my

Urban Decay Spring 2015 Collection First Look

Happy Chinese New Year to all who is celebrating! I decided to post this up since the Urban Decay Spring 2015 launches here in Malaysia today. Yes, if you have been following every collection of Urban Decay Collection, you may have know that Urban Decay has launch this year Spring Collection. From Powder Foundation, to concealers, sheer lipsticks and new moondust shades. I got a few stuff from the collection and will show you what is my first though on these babies. I have been using it since I got em, I also plan to do an individual post review to these in my future post. First up, I will introduce to you what UD Spring 2015 has in stores for you! i also provide an approx price for you as I don't have the actual official price info, Will edit and update it here when I got them.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation | (36USD / approx. RM130 each)
First notice. This powder foundation comes in a box with their purple signature pouch. Sweet! It has a semi rose gold metallic packaging that looks really luxurious. This powder foundation claims to be a powder foundation that last all day, amazing coverage and works with both wet and dry method. It provides you with a weightless feeling with a build able coverage. These Naked Skin Ultra Definition Power Foundation comes in 14 shades to choose from.

What I find unique about this product is the sponge it provides with. It not not an ordinary sponge that you usually get. This sponge comes in 2 different sides. One if for the dry method and one is for the wet method. My first impression using this foundation with the sponge is that I am way impressed. The sponge gives a nice "blurry" application that is very nice to the skin. It is velvety to the touch and it does give a pretty good coverage although it is just a powder foundation. The only downside about this to myself is that the shade that I got is way to dark for me, after a while it tends to oxidizes and it makes my face look even darker. I think I should get Medium Light instead of this one that I show you is in Medium Warm. Overall, I really love this powder foundation and it works really well on its on.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer | (28USD / approx. RM90 each)
Describe as a concealer that is buildable, even coverage with a luminous, demi-matte finish. It is ultra lightweight, with its high-tech formula melds like a second skin to give you full coverage in an instant and NEVER settles into fine lines. Ingredients such as Matrixyl 3000 contains anti-wrinkle peptides to improve skin’s youthful appearance and elasticity, japanese green tea revitalizes and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, Litchiderm™ (derived from lychee fruit) protects against dehydration, resulting in a brighter, more radiant complexion and sodium hyaluronate helps skin attract and retain moisture is provided in this concealer. This concealer comes in 8 shades to choose from.

Remember the post that I am in the search for a good high end concealer? I think I already find one! Some said this is very similar to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I never tried that one so can't judge. This is by far the most lightweight but great coverage concealer I ever tried. Blending this concealer is just a breeze. I love concealer that comes with a wand, it makes application easier. The shade that I got is Medium Neutral, its the perfect shade for under my eye. I love how it has a yellow undertone that provides effortless coverage and neutralize my dark under eye circle easily. I think I am looking forward to buy another lighter shade of this concealer for covering my spots around my face as this shades looks a little bit dark around my cheeks. This concealer does not have a brightening effect, the shades are true to itself when applied. Will give you my thought on these in my future individual post, In Sha Allah.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Sheer Revolution Lipstick | (20USD approx RM70 each)
It is said that if you have been loving their previous Lipstick line which is the Revolution Lipstick, you would love this. Provides with a sheer, shiny finish. Every shade has a rich, creamy feel and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Contains shea butter and jojoba, olive and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a hit of antioxidants.

At first I thought this was another concealer. Haha. Because the shade that I got is no where near to any of my nudes lipstick that I have. The shade that I got is in Walk of Shame. This Sheer Lipstick is super creamy I have a love and hate with this product. As we have a very humid weather here in Malaysia, this lipstick actually melts in my handbag. When I try to apply it, it is just all over the place as it is just too soft. I use my fingertips to apply this on my lips. I store it in the freezer for a few hours and its good as new but still I felt like its about to break off again. It has a very balm like texture with a very sheer pigmentation. I felt like this is more like a lip balm. I love to use this as a base before putting on another lipstick that I like. It does provides me with a good long hours hydration. It is also looks pretty nice to be worn alone. Comes in 10 shades to choose from.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Moondust Eyeshadow | (20USD approx RM60.00 each)
Urban Decay by far one of the best company with eyeshadows. Their eyeshadows are always buttery smooth and pigmentation. they also have unique shades for you to choose from. For this Spring 2015, Urban Decay added 4 more new permanent shades in their Moondust eyeshadow collection. Which is the "glitter" type eyeshadow compare to the normal eyeshadow they have. It comes in their unique detectable pan eyeshadow packaging.

The shade that I got is in Scorpion. It is a dark emerlard green shade with gold sparkles in it. It is super super pretty. I really love this shade so much! The glitter does not fall out easily and just smooth to the touch. Having this eyeshadow makes me feel like I want to collect more Urban Decay Single eyeshadow especially for my favorite shades Sin & Buck. I might!

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Above picture shows the swatches from all the products that I have shown you. They also have another product in their Spring 2015 line which is the Mascara Resurrection (not shown here). Great news all of these products are in their permanent line. Do check out your nearest Sephora outlet for these collection. I really recommend checking out their powder foundation and concealer. Worth trying!

Naked 1 Urban Decay | Over a year plus verdict

Salam & hello everyone!
Yes, I am going to tell you about my opinion on the Naked 1 palette by Urban Decay after a 1 year plus using it. Pretty late, I know. I think Naked palette arrival were amazingly accepted by many people and I might say a lot of people love this palette and its like a must have palette although you already have a tons of eye shadow in your vanity right now. I got this on my birthday. Mr.T bought me this for me. Thank you! And I have been using it ever since.

Name : Urban Decay Naked Palette
Price : RM179.00 / 50.00USD
Availability : Sephora Malaysia / Sephora USA / Urban Decay Official Web-store
Made in : USA
Net Weight : 12 eye shadow x 0.05 US oz

As you can see the packaging is much worn out, the gold lettering have somewhat missing and yes, I lost the primer potion that comes with it. When I bought this, they change the edition. The first edition it comes with the double end eyeliner, the second edition it comes with the brush as you can see above, which I don't really use actually. Its so stiff and I don't really like the brush. Its hard to be wash too.

My favorite shades in this palette as you can see is Sin, Naked, Buck and Half Baked. I find theses shades really look nice on my skin tone. When I first swatch this palette I thought I am gonna love Toasted, but I don't know why I don't really reach for that color much often. All shades is touched but not as frequent as the shades listed above.

Lets talk about is it worth the price? Here in Sephora Malaysia, the retail price is RM179. So you do the math (179.00/12=RM14.90+) So each shades pretty much cost like a single eye shadow from a drugstore brand. Plus you get the mini travel primer potion and a eye shadow brush. Pretty neat. But, as you can see I neglected a few shades and I really feel bad for it. (Well not really because I can keep it for future stuff right?) The color payoff for me is pretty good, its smooth and easy to control. Its stay for quite hours even without primer, but much more nicer with primer.

Now lets talk about each shade and what is my favorite shade to use in my daily routine. (From left to right)

VIRGIN :
Its a light nice subtle shimmery shade that suits for highlighting. Usually i use this to highlight my brow bone
SIN :
All time favorite for my base lid color, the shimmery is not that bold, and its pinkish peach tone look so nice on my lid. Its super buttery and easy to blend.
NAKED :
Perfect color for contouring. Its a matte light brown shade. I use this to contour my nose bridge.
SIDECAR :
A glittery shade, pretty like a dupe for SIN but I love to use it for night look. It has a lil chunk of glitter in it.
BUCK :
Perfect defining crease color. Its a matte brown color and I usually use it for my crease.
HALF BAKED :
A yellow undertone gold. I love to pair this with a plum purple shadow that I got in my Sleek matte palette.
SMOG :
A shimmery chocolate brown color. I also love this color and usually use this on my outer corner to create smokey eye.
DARKHORSE :
A dark chocolate shimmery shade, I don't really reach for this shade, because I don't really wear dark bold shadow everyday, but I totally reach for this color when I wanna create a bold dark shadow on my eye.
TOASTED :
A grey undertone pink. Sometimes I'll go for this shade if I wanna create a pink eye shadow base color.
HUSTLE :
A taupe purple undertone color perfect fit with TOASTED.
CREEP :
A glittery black color, I don't really like this shade because I find it chalky and its fall out.
GUNMETAL :
A dark silver shimmer shade, pretty nice but don't really loving it.

Overall :
 photo 4star_zps1a84e4db.png
I recommend this palette to any girls that want to explore neutral shades. Many said that Naked 1 is much preferable to Asian skin tone compare to the NAKED 2 palette. If you really new to makeup, this will be like your go to palette. Its a nice palette for you to explore neutral shades . The color payoff is very nice compare to the price. I would not repurchase the palette but I would definitely looking forward to buy the single shadow for the favorite shades listed above.

Lastly I wanna alert you guys about the FAKE Naked Palette that many seller claims to be original. Its pretty sad when people lie just because of profit.

ORIGINAL VS FAKE

More info check out these blogger post about the comparison of the Original Naked palette and the Fake one. Don't be cheated. But if you really want to buy the fake one, its up to you but still, the seller must tell its a fake one. Come on, DON'T LIE!

Hugs and kisses
