Tarte Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Swatches & Review

We can never get enough with liquid lipsticks. I get the chance to try this liquid lipstick from Tarte Cosmetics. A well-known brand that is formulated without any dangerous ingredients such as Parabens, Sulfates and of course they are certified vegan!

These are their Tartiest Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint. I think there are a total of 26 shades to choose from. Here I got 10 out of all of the 26 shades. But I could say all these 10 shades are wearable and kinda like shades that suit any kind of looks or for daily wear. At first glance, I knew would love the shade Exposed, Besties & Fortune. They kinda like my kind of color.

The packaging is simple and sleek. I love how it is just simple and the applicator is a doe foot applicator. Which makes application easy. The texture of the liquid lipstick reminds me of the Lime Crime Velvetines. Not creamy but very liquid. On the first application, on the lips, it feels very light but you kind need 2 two layers for a fully opaque finish. It is a bit drying but with a proper base on the lips, this looks really nice. It lasts for a few hours and does feel a bit drying over time.

Some colors can be a bit patchy like, Killing It & Obsessed. May need to work faster on the application to avoid patchiness. Overall I love the shade Exposed & Bestie. It's a very nice nude color that can be really nice with a bold makeup look.

Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette Review

One of the reason I got this palette is of course by the influence of these YouTubers I watched. Also the campaign that they did for this palette where each eyeshadow represent someone and most of them are YouTubers. The shades are said to inspire, celebrate and empower real women. Got to blame YouTube for everything. Haha. Not to mention the packaging are just a beautiful. This palette consist of 12 matte shades. Yep, all of the shades are matte and these eyeshadow are made out of Amazonian Clay, Vitamin E & Mineral Pigments. You know how Tarte rolls right. Their ingredients that they include in their products are always the bomb dot com.

I could say when I have this palette for a while I realize that having all matte shadows are pretty boring. I love this palette but I say it needs to be paired with other eyeshadow. I still reach for other palettes when I use this palette just to get some more shimmery/pearlize eyeshadow as I realize these type of shadow give more dimension to my eyes. I would say since this is a matte eyeshadow it is a great palette for all sorts of brow highlight, transition color, base and crease color. All of the eyeshadow are super pigmented even without primer and most of them are cool tones. I think it will look more nicer with primer, but I haven't tried that as I don;t have a good eyeshadow primer at the moment. I looovveeee the packaging and I love the size of it. Travel friendly and just nice on the hand. It has a generous size of mirror too. When I have this palette I felt that I have a perfect amount of matte shades now. It is a great palette to have along with your other eyeshadow palette when you travel or going somewhere.

Tarte Cosmetics is now in Sephora Malaysia

Salam & hello everyone! Remember the last post where I told you that Tarte Cosmetics is going to be in Malaysia? Well true to that! It is noe officially in all Sephora in Malaysia! Here are some pictures from a Tarte Counter in Sephora KLCC. Oh, I still can get over the moment the SA schold me because pictures are not allow in here. :( But oh well, I manage to get these until I stop taking pictures, hope ypu guys find this helpful and if you wanna buy some Tarte products from this Sephora, do let me know, maybe (T&C applies) I can help buy them for you and send it to you with no extra charges! Tarte is a USA base brand that carries organic natural base product. Practice a non dangerous chemical product that suits many skin type. Its tribal kinda design is a Tarte signature design product. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour blush | Exposed & Blissful

Salam & hello everyone!
As you know I pretty much obsessed with this blush. Its the only blush I reach most of the time for my daily makeup routine. I have been saving for these for quite the longest time and its my most expensive blush I ever own and buy. After hearing so much rave towards this blush, I just to get it especially when a sucker for pretty packaging like me, I just have have have to get this! I was planning to own 4-6 shades from this blush collection, but oh well, I only manage to get 2 first. Will buy more! (evil laugh)

Packaging! Who does not love that packaging! Each shades have different color on the case. That is pretty much, LOVE! It is a plastic packaging with a mirror in side. And yes, its portable too! You can actually push the pan out and you can place it at any of you magnetic travel palette. no need to light up in the oven or what so ever. The texture of this blush is powder. A very fine powder that does not caked up. Pigmentation of this product is also just nice. Not too out of control or not sheer. Easy to control. No overpowering scent to this blush and easy of use of this product is just like other blush, you need to have a blush brush to use this for a perfect application. Longevity, It claims to be a 12 hour blush right, I find the shade in Blissful last much longer than Exposed. It does stays long hours, but I did notice it stays for 12 hours.

The shades I have is Exposed and Blissful. Exposed is a nude blush color, that you can use as a blush of contouring. Its a browning rosy color blush that may look too dark for fair skin tone. I mostly use this one than Blissful, because Blissful looks pretty bold. I think Blissful works great on darker skin tone color.

I love how this blush is infused with lots of good stuff in it as mention in main ingredient highlight on product info in the box above.
I wish Tarte cosmetics is available here in Malaysia soon just like NARS! I am looking forward to try this blush in the shade, Peaceful, Natural Beauty, Dollface, Glitsen, Buff and Flush!
