MAGICurler Automatic Hair Curling Iron Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Happy Wednesday. I am still having my Eid holiday right now because I will start my day job starting tomorrow! So here is another review for you and this time is about hair tools! Hey, I also love to play with my hair okay! I got to try this awesome hair tool that I am very foreign about. When I look at it i was like, err.. How do I use this? It is basically a hair curler that does not going to give you muscles. I guarantee you! From my past experience I love to curl my hair using hair straightener. But it was a pretty hard thing to do especially when I try to spin my hand towards the back and stuff just to get that angle. So this hair tool will help you on that case. All you got to do is out you hair in, roll it in (just press button) and let it heat up a bit and release. Tada! A curled hair! My thoughts. You need practice to this. It is a bit hard at first try and a bit stuck moment sometimes. hehe. Watch their video on how to use it here (click me). So after a few try I get it on how it works. It is actually very easy to use! The tip is the "center" black round thingy on the tool should be facing your face and adjuct the left and right button on the tool as you can see in the picture above. I really love this curler as it really easy to use after I get use to it. It does not cause mess and makes my curl last pretty long. I can also adjust the size of my curl which I find this product is interesting! It is such a must have product that you need if you love to curl your hair everyday! This is such a convenient tool to have.
I recommend you to use a heat protecting spray first on your hair before using this and section your hair first before using it to help you through the process.

Chriszen Moist Cake Foundation Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. This foundation has taken Malaysia by storm. I bet some of you may know about this foundation. It is from our own homegrown brand and I am very honor to get to try this and let you know what I think about it!. Chriszen Moist Cake Foundation is describe as a foundation that suits any skin type. It is formulated with collagen as well as L-Glutathione . Its also said that this foundation has SPF50 in it. This foundation comes in a pink plastic jar. As you can see there is a white spiral design in the foundation right, the skin color is of course the foundation it self and the white spiral is actually a L-Glutathione. So combine both product to give you that full effect and cover. This foundation comes in 3 shades. I got mine in Medium.
What I like about it. It gives me a nice fair effect. Not that weird kinda white effect but just a nice glow on my face since I have a pale yellow face. The shade is pretty nice too and I love how it covers my redness nicely. It is moisturizing and not look cakey (with the correct technique).
What I don't like about it. When using the sponge (dry or even damp) it gives me this cakey feeling as well as an obvious feeling that I am wearing foundation. Its also transfer easily when I touch my face. It gets oily after a few hours too but the foundation still remains natural on my face which is a good point. You need to blend the foundation (combine the foundation and white spiral) first before putting on your face.
Overall & Recommendation. When I first try this product it was a bit mess. I find a bit "sayang" to ruin the spiral design on the foundation. I carefully swipe it using the sponge it provides me (the white round sponge). As I swatch it, the white (L-Glutathione) and the foundation is not really mix up together so when I apply it on my face there is a white stripe on my face. So the tip is blend the product first in the jar before putting it on your face. After a few try, I find that using foundation brush is the best. As I said a little goes a long way, the foundation is pretty thick if you put it too much. After several experiment I find that this is a a good foundation, reminds me of a BB Cream but better coverage. It is very moisturizing and I love the fair effect it gaves me. My overall thoughts is that I don't know about you but I don't like to use this with a sponge but I love to use it with my favorite foundation brush. You also need a good finishing powder on top of it since this transfer easily. I am pretty much in love with this foundation after I know how to use it properly! I love how it gives my skin looks glowing!

NARS Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow Review | Subra & Dione

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Today we are going to talk about the new NARS Single Eyeshadows! Hoyeah! NARS has introduce the new Dual-Intensity Eyshadow. Describe as an eyeshadow that you can wear it dry or wet (that means you use it with medium or water to give more intense pigmentation). It is a creaseless, eight-hour wear eye shadow with a transformative texture for wet or dry application. This Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow has smooth, versatile texture that goes on dry for a sheer soft touch of sensual color, or wet for a high-impact finish. A lasting shadow, it achieves elevated eye looks that range from romantic to bold.

My first impression of the variety of shades, perfect for anyone! You can really tell the shades that they offers are pretty neutral in color. I got the chance to try 2 of the shades in this collection that is Subra (a Black Orchid shade) and Dione (a Metallic Champagne Beige shade). Twelve ready to wear romantic shades for you to choose from!

I love the shades that I got. Especially Dione. I am a sucker for champagne-beige eye shadow shade because I find it flatters my eye by just wear it alone on my lid. Dione is describe as metallic champage beige. It has this taupe kinda tone in it with a beige base. The Subra is describe as a shimmery dark brown with just a hint of plum. Love love this color! Wear this alone and you et that nice dark eyeshadow color that does not look flat because if the intense metallic effect and plums tone in it.

According to the NARS Makeup artist, Justin Heslop on how to use the eyeshdow on the "wet" version is that you need your brush to be damp but not soaking wet. Here is the trick, you took a makeup sponge, damp it and took your eyeshadow brush and push it on the sponge to get make the brush damp. Swipe the brush on to the eyeshadow and apply it on your lid. It will give you a cool wet effect and I find that it looks so nice for night out or just that glam night you would like to rule!

Here is my creation using both shades (dry method). As you can see even when its dry it is super intense! The color payoff is just amazeballs. I warn you this is very metallic, the Dione color is perfect for day time and Subra is perfect for night time or use it as a bottom liner. In this look I am using Dione as a base and Subra on the outer corner of my eye and bring it down to my lower lash. It does not crease and it stay super long even without primer. Just that I think I need to use another neutral matte shadows just to give a transaction color on the outer crease just to reduce the harshness of the metallic effect.

Also that, these eyeshadow are recommend to be use together with the Wet/Dry Eyeshadow Brush from NARS. The brush looks so sleeke with NARS logo engraved on the end of the brush. The brush is fluffy and I love the shade of the brush that makes application easy. You can purchase these awesome eyeshaodw at NARS Counter near you. In Malaysia, we only have NARS counter in Pavillion Kuala Lumpur starting July 2014 onwards.

Miss Hana Water Proof Gel Eyeliner Glitter Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I have review two shades from this product before and you can check it out here (click me). So the before post were the reviews on the mattes ones. This one is the glitters ones. So I am going to give my thoughts on the glitter one today. A quick introduction, this pencil liner is said based on waterproof, oil proof, rich pigment. It comes in a cute pink box but U wish the box were labeled with their own color/shades and same goes to the pencil it self. Its so hard to differentiate. So here is my quick thoughts!
My thoughts. It is very creamy and pigmented, It glides on smoothly on your lid (without eyeshdow). Its a bit chalky and smudgy when it is apply on the eyeshadow so you need to be careful on that. I find that the glitters ones are much more nicer than the matte ones. They have this nice gold glitter on it as you glide it on. It looks so pretty and the hint of the gold gives you a nice pop of effect on your eye. This is a great eyeliner for beginners as I love how it is not over priced. This is best to be applied on your upper lid, its smudge a bit if you put on your lower lashes. It is not an auto twist pencil so you need a sharpener to get this thing sharpen of course!

Glam Glow Supermud Clearing Treatment Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Selamat Hari Raya and happy holidays to all of you! I have my holidays right now, I have complete a few post and schedule them this week so I can have my rest and enjoy my raya while not neglecting my blog! Do check out my reviews for this week okay! Today post I will give you my thoughts on the famous GlamGlow Mask. It is know for its effectiveness and luxuriousness. Weheww! So a little introduction, GlamGlow is a company known for it mask product. They have tons of mask type for any skincare. The one that I am reviewing is the Supermud Clearing Treatment is going to helps to fight all common skin concerns. The real product comes in a jar, this one is just a sample travel size deluxe.
My thoughts. I actually already tried this mask before. I got a sample. So I am going to give you my seconds thoughts on it. My first impression on this were quite good and my impression is that it firms up my skin and leave my skin moisturize. So how I use it, on a clean face I spread it out on my face. Then I wait it to dry. While waiting it to try I actually play with my eyebrow. Haha. That is why you can see my eyebrow is a bit drawn in that picture. A few minutes later my face feels really really tight. I can't even smile. So I rinse it off with water and pad dry. Looking at my skin I ca't really tell a difference but I can really feel that it tighten my pores and makes my skin glow a little bit if you know what I mean. I can feel my skin is matte but not dry. The obvious difference is on the area of my nose. My pores and black heads were less visible. Will continue using this mask! Does not cause me break out or irritating feeling! One of the best mask ever use so far in giving firm and tighten pores result. I wish I can afford the full size one to continue using it! For me it is quite expensive for just a mask >,<

A'Pieu Mineral Lip & Eye Makeup Remover Pure Water Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Today I will be reviewing a makeup remover. Here is my quick review on it. This is a makeup remover from a brand called A'Pieu. I never heard of this brand actually. Said to help moisturizes the skin, making it soft, smooth and elastic, Intensively provides a surge of moisture and nutrition for skin and it is Acohol free, oil free, scent free.
What I like about it. It is very gentle on the skin, and I don't need to shake it like the normal makeup remover (combining oil and water). This is much of a water based makeup remover. There is not scent to it so I guess it does not bothers me anyway. Price wise are also okay for a Korean brand product. 
What I don't like about it. Removing power is not that good especially on stain makeup like red lipstick. You need to really rub in in order to remove waterproof makeup. 
Overall & Recommendation. I don't really fancy this makeup remover. I love makeup remover that has strong removing power as this does not really do that. I only love how its a water based rather than a oil base. Its gentle on the skin and I recommend this kind of makeup remover for you who wears very very light makeup. This would be perfect for you.

Featured in Cosmopolitan Malaysia

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I don't know if I should blog about this or what. But oh well I am still going to blog about it. I don't know. I feel a bit uncomfortable about it since it still feels surreal to me and I am afraid people going to say that I am just over excited. I don't know about you guys but to be featured in magazine were one of my biggest dreams. One of my dreams is actually to be feature in magazine because I love collecting magazine especially back in the days when we don't have internet and stuff. Magazine were one of my biggest sources to learn about makeups and stuff. I always admire people who get to inspire people through these media. But this feature were a casual ones. It is such an honor to be mingle with the top celebrities such as Sheena from Asia Next Top Model and Hanis Zalika. It is just amazing!

The magazine spread is actually just a general talking and just a question and answer regarding What Women Want. So I am one of the person who were chosen to answer these hot questions related to the topic.  I was a bit nervous as I don't really talk about that kind of topic as I am mostly just in my room swatching eyeshadow and review stuff. Haha. I got to admit that I was a bit nervous as it is my first time as well as I got to admit that I do talk "gibberish" haha! I mean like merapu a bit because I am still don't want to spill the beans of my next incoming project. I am afraid if I reveal it, and what if it does not come true, I will stressed out and disappointed. And I felt so small in the group as to compare to these girls who have thousands of followers and likes. Me? Err.. I am just an average girl who just can't stop nagging about beauty products who barely have followers and people who are interested to really follow me to what I am doing. 

But the most important part is the experience I have gained. I will do better next time in shaa Allah if I still have the opportunity. I really want something that really feature about me, my blog or my next incoming project #thePorjectB. That is my main target now. Next time I hope I really get the chance to really get to talk about what I really am doing, the hard work, real result of my blog and the real struggles. All this kinda experience do teach me a lot. Let me just keep that to my self and take that as a lesson to be better <3. Anyway thank you so much Cosmopolitan Malaysia for this opportunity. I am still amaze by how did you found me to my small humble blog. Thank you so much for making my day to such achievement that I will cherish!
