SAMSUNG GALAXY A34 5G – UNBOXING & FIRST IMPRESSION

Assalamualaikum everyone! Samsung is back here again with the A series and this year the new Samsung Galaxy A34 5G launched since the last A33 phone was introduced around a year ago. It is one of the best mid range phones out there for people who want something simple for day to day basis use. Now let me go through my 1st impression upon receiving this phone in hand and will compare it a bit with the previous experience I had with A32 & A33.

There is a protective seal on the box to know if the phone is new or was opened. The box is similar to the previous A33 where since that, no adapters were included but just comes with the cable. The battery storage is a standard Samsung phone capacity 5000mAh with 25W charging. 

Upon 1st hand holding the phone, I could say it getting lighter than the previous one, which I find much more pleasant to hold. The one I got is in Awesome Graphite (Black) color. It has a Plastic rear and frame but does not look cheap or easily broken. It has a measuring of 161.3 x 78.1 x 8.2mm and weighs about 150g. The screen is measured at 6.6-inch AMOLED display and refresh rates of up to 120Hz for your usage & fingerprint sensor built into the screen.

What you get in the full box are the phone, a warranty card, a USB-C to USB-C cable and a tool to remove the SIM tray. The Galaxy A34 runs Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.

The Galaxy A34 also has stereo speakers that are located at the top of the phone with spec of MediaTek Dimensity 1080, 6/8GB RAM. For the camera wise, I will cover it in my 2 weeks verdict of using the phone, as for the features that you will be expecting are :

Apply this acne spot treatment to any new acne on your face. It helps to reduce the redness and swelling of the acne, so it will heal better and prevent it from becoming a dark spot or scar. Extra steps during the day if you dont like wearing makeup but want something to keep your face matte and shine-free all day as well as treat your skin while wearing it, add the next step to your daytime routine.

An update with the Samsung Galaxy A33

2 weeks had gone by and here is my thought on the new Samsung Galaxy A33. I had the A32 before and you can also read it here. I also did an unboxing first impression post that you can read here. Moving on, the new Samsung Galaxy A33 is somewhat a better version than the previous one. I can tell that one of the additional features is the water & dust resistance feature. The water resistance feature are only for 1 meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes & safe against low water pressure only. Apart from that, the others are as below.

1. Video Quality

Featuring a FHD+ sAMOLED 90Hz display, with a screen size is 6.4" in the full rectangle and 6.2" with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The video quality is for me great. Nothing to complain about, the playback is seamless, color vibrancy is also great. Also, it automatically changes the lighting pretty fast. So watching videos in the darkroom can be easy. The sound quality is also great and serves no problem.

Overall, it is a great camera during the day and just okay during low-light surroundings. There are other cameras features too such as filters and more. Its an acceptable quality for the price.

3. Battery Life & Usage

It claims that the battery can stay up to 2 days and I tested that and I would say it does but with casual usage of the phone. The storage battery is standard 5000mph like most phones. Charging it is really fast, which I am very impressed with. It took me just about 30mins for the full battery to filled up.

4. Overall Usage & Feel

The size of the phone is 159.7 x 74 x 8.1 mm with an average weight of 186g with Gorilla Glass 5, plus a dual Sim with Nano Sim slot. The material of the phone looks like plastic and the matte catches fingerprints quite easily. So recommend having a case for this.

Overall I think it's a great casual phone for anyone who wants a phone for basic wear such as calls, messaging, video watching, and casual gaming. The camera is just okay, great during bring light surroundings.

The Samsung Galaxy A33 is using Android 12, One UI 4.1 with Chipset Exynos 1280 & Octa-core (2×2.4 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) processor.

SAMSUNG GALAXY A33 5G – UNBOXING & FIRST IMPRESSION

 

Assalamualaikum everyone and selamat berpuasa! I'm back with another phone review and this time it is the new Galaxy A33 5G from Samsung. I review the Samsung A32 5G before and have been using it ever since as my second phone. Let me give you some insight into my first impression of getting this phone and definitely I will have a few thought on the difference between the previous A32 and this one.

On 17th March 2022, Samsung announce 2 new models from the Samsung Galaxy line launched. It is the Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G. The one I am reviewing today is the A33 model. Both are powered by a brand-new processor, coupled with Galaxy’s signature AI camera, expansive and smooth display, and two-day battery life. These Galaxy A series features 5G connectivity, defense-grade security, eco-conscious, stylish and slim design, and advanced connected experiences. 

To ensure customer experience are always awesome, both devices support continuous One UI and Android OS upgrades and security updates. “We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the positive impact mobile technology can have on their lives,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ The phone comes in its own box and all the details such as the serial number and such can be found printed on it. Now let's unbox it!

The top part of the box contains the Warranty card, manual, and the C-Type charger without the plug. Everything is well protected and sealed nicely. It also includes a "wiping cloth" which I find convinient and I will talk about that later.  

Here are what you are getting in the whole box. In the effort of delivering tangible environmental actions to help make the planet healthier by 2025, the Galaxy A series removes the charger plug and reduces the size of the packaging. It also uses recycled post-consumer materials (PCM) for the side buttons and SIM card trays. 

My first impression of holding the phone, it is definitely much lighter than the previous A32. A33 has a normal matte casing compared to the previous one which is more "pearly". It is rafted to be fashionable, functional, and sustainable. It has a slim bezel that creates a smooth, stylish look and the Ambient Edge design seamlessly blends the camera with the body of the phone. It features the tough Corning® Gorilla® Glass 5 and IP67  that is water and dust resistance This will provide you with enhanced durability.

Let's get a tour around the phone. It has a  6.4-inch (74.0 x 159.7 x 8.1mm,) FHD+ Super AMOLED 90Hz Infinity-U Display and weighs around 186g, and has a battery of 5,000mAh(typical).
