Clinique Pop Lipstick & Eyeliner Review

Just got the chance to try out more Clinique products. Today short review would be on their Pop Lipstick that claims to be a lipstick and a primer. Hmm.. Interesting. Another one is an eyeliner, called the Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen. Got both from the PR samples and I tried them for a few month right now. Clinique are available widely in Malaysia. I bet you gusy have pass by their beauty counter right.

Clinique Pop Lipstick in 12 Fab Pop
It is a rich, weightless formula that fuses bold, saturated color with a smoothing primer. You can choose from 17 shades available. It will delivers a lightweight formula that lasts for up to eight hours. Has a modern-velvet finish that said to stay comfortable on your lips. I love the packaging of course but I did not seems to see my self reach for this as much as I can remember. Maybe becasue of the shade. Fab Pop looks like a pink with a cool undertone witha  but of a lilac sheen to it. The texture is sooth but feels a but tacky on my lips. Maybe I should try other color. Each retails for RM83.00. (link)

Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen in 01 Black
It said to be a a 24-hour wear, eyeliner pen that delivers precise, dramatic lines. I could say it pretty much does the same as my other marker type eyeliner. Pretty pigmented but will need 2 layers of it for that total opaque line look. The tip is really easy to control and it goes smoothly even over eyeshadows. A pretty good eyeliner but maybe the price would be a bit steep compare to the ones you can get in the pharmacies/drugstores. Retails for RM85.00 each. (link)

Maybelline Hypersharp Wings Eyeliner Review

I found a new favorite eyeliner and it is this. Now my eyes can fly with those wings. It is the Maybelline Hypersharp Wing Eyeliner that is even better than my previous favorite which is the gold cap one - The Hypershap Liner. This is more finer but easier to control. This eyeliner is the first marker type liner that has a flat sharp tip. As you can see, it has a different shape in different angle. This way, you can create a thin or thick line easily. Describe in measurement, the thinner side are 0.01mm and the thicker side are in 2.00mm.

It is very pigmented and really easy to use. Since I knew about these marker type of eyeliner, I barely touch my pencil or liquid eyeliner. This eyeliner are also easy to removes (with makeup remover or warm water) and last pretty long. I would say 3-4 hours. I normally bring it in my makeup bag to give some touch ups. Since I got this, I can create a thin line above my lid super easy and quick. It glides on top of my eyeshadow very smooth. Hands down. My best eyeliner in my stash!

This Hypersharp Wings are available at any participating pharmacies that carries Maybelline products, they retail for RM39.90 each. Don't forget also to join the Maybelline Hypersharp Wing & #MyEvenWings Contest.

Maybelline Colosal Kajal 12H Black & Hypercosmo Trio Eyeshadow

Maybelline is known for its awesome eye makeup products. Mostly known for its mascara. Today I will show you two eye makeup product from Maybelline. I think both a relaunch and reformulated. The Kajal liner is a re formulated eye-liner from the previous 6 hour Kajal liner. The Hypercosmo eyeshadow is a product that claims to be a highly pigmented, with a unique 3D effect and stunning metallic finish and captivating the summer look with metallic. So here are my thoughts.

Maybelline Colosal Kajal 12H Black
It said that this is the new and improve Colossal Kajal Eyeliner. The one before clams to last 6 hours but this claims to last 12 hours. Comes in a bright yellow packaging and it is an auto twist type of eyeliner that does not need sharpening. It has a very creamy and precise texture. The tip is pretty firm and fine which makes applying easier. It is super pigmented and waterproof. I had a rough time removing this. It does not smudge but it stains your hand if you rub it. Lasting power was okay. It last me about 3-4 hours. I don't like to use this on my upper lid, but I like to use it on the half of my lower lid. Price wise are also affordable.

Hypercosmo Trio Eyeshadow
Maybelline has come out with these mineralize baked eyeshadow that offers you metallic eyeshadow finish look. It is not a quad but as you can see it has different colours in it that you can play around. There are 4 shades you can choose from that is Coppered Mars, Venus Gold, Pinky Comet and Galactic Purple. The one I got here are Coppered Mars & Galatic Purple. It comes in a dome shaped plastic packaging that is pretty nice. Pigmentation wise, does not really impress me. The texture is not chalky, but colour pay off is a bit weak. You need 4-5 layers to make the colour really pop off. This is recommend t you if you fond over a very light finish of eyeshadow. This may need a help of a good eyelid base or eye primer to make it last long and look more vibrant.

Maybelline HyperSharp Laser Liner Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Happy sunday! I have an eyeliner that has been around blogs and reviews. So I have to also jump in and let you know my thoughts. I can't remember if this eyeliner were newly launch or re-launch because I think I saw it somewhere before or maybe the packaging is the same, I don't know. Maybe I was just making things up. So these Hypersharp eyeliner from Maybelline comes in 3 different colors to choose from. Intense Black, Soft Black and Brown. I got the Intense Black for PR purposes and the Soft Black as a gift so I just thought that I review both. I don't have the brown one here. This eyeliner features its sharp and precises marker tip. This is more like a marker with a liquid texture in it. I have tried gel, pencil, liquid and by far my favorite is still this type of marker and if you know me my all time favorite eyeliner is the Dolly Wink which you can read the review (here).

What I like about it. I love how sharp and precise the tip is. The marker it self is very pigmented (for the Intense Black) and drawing wing eyeliner never been easier. It really just reminds me of my favorite eyeliner, that is the Dollywink which could be a cheaper alternative with that. Its also stay pretty long on my lid and fades a bit after a few hours if you sweat a bit and does not smudge and give you that Taylor Momsen look. Price are also affordable.

What I don't like about it. I really don't like the one in Soft Black. i just don't understand what is the purpose of I am just too lazy to discover it purpose. It is just too soft and watery. As you can see in the picture above it settle in my fine line and smudge out. I don't see this could be done with anything.

Overall & Recommendation. I have use this for 2 weeks now and it is still pigmented (for the intense black). I am not sure how long it will last but so far it is still good. The Dollywink is still pigmented and wet even tho I have been using it everyday since this early year. Overall I really recommend this eyeliner, it is great for beginners especially if you want that soft fine eyeliner look. This is the tool you need.

Miss Hana Water Proof Gel Eyeliner Matte Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Eyeliners. Its like everyone first makeup product right? I mean except for the powders. I categorize my first makeup product as a colored makeup products would be the eyeliner. High five if you are too! To tell you the truth the journey of my eyeliner purchase is quite an adventure. Haha. There is so many type of eyeliners in the market. Mostly all of us will go for the pencil liner as a first step and it will eventually upgrade to gel liner, liquid liners or even marker liners. So today I am going to review one of the eyelienrs I have tried. It is from Miss Hana. Comes in 4 different options to choose from. A matte black (Night Black), matte brown (Choco Brown), glittery black (Galacy Black), and a glittery brown (Golden Brown). So I got the Night Black and the Choco Brown.

It is describe as an eyeliner that based in waterproof, oil, concentrated color three demands, Extreme color, Gelatinous texture and extremely waterproof. You can check out their website www.nattacosme.com fro more info, but it is written in Chinese language. So if you know how to read Chinese language, good for you! So I have tried this eyeliner during my days to the office. First off, I love how this eyeliner is packed. Oh absolutely, it is pink! The downside of this product is that its really hard to differentiate which one is which color as they look the same. The texture of this eyeliner is super smooth.More like a gel texture as you can actually scribble this on the back of your hand and use an angle brush to apply it. It does not goes smoothly on your inner lid maybe because its waterproof. You inner lid is a bit wet right, so its a bit difficult to glide over there. The pigmentation is nice too, not too heavy not too sheer. In terms of waterproof and smudging, well I don't recommend this to be use under your lid as its smudges easily but it stays nicely about 2-3 hours on your lid. It can also be use as an eye shadow, just draw some line on your lid and smudge it with your finger.

Overall, I recommend this to beginners who are exploring pencil liners. Its not too bold and it does looks natural. I love the choco brown color! If you get bored with that usual black liner, go for the brown! It makes your eyes looks natural with a hint of that earth tone natural color.

L'Oreal Superliner Blackbuster

Salam & hello everyone! Today is the last weekend for 2013. I hope all of you are doing well. Recently I have receive this big fat marker. Not your ordinary stationary marker but it is an extra black marker eyeliner from L'Oreal! Claims to be a the thickest marker you ever find, easy to wear and easy to remove. I love how big this marker is, but I took a 2 weeks of try for this product. On application, this eyeliner contains alcohol. I kinda feel a lil sting around my eye while using it.  i think this may cause by the alcohol. I have sensitive eyes by the way. The scent of this marker was okay, not too overpowering. It is formulated with Acrylates Copolymer, to help make it last longer and does not fade away. Well here what I thought, this marker serve better for a full bold liner look rather than a thin natural look. I use the basic everyday liner look I usually do and my eyeliner fades around 2 hours. It does not appear pigmented especially on eyeshadow. For a bold line look, this serve better. It last longer and it shows up better. The texture of the eyeliner is just like a marker but a lil more watery. Not that watery type where it can cause mess, but just nice to help glides on. I find it is hard to create a thin wing line with this. What I like about this is it is perfect for waterline and bottom eye liner. This help a precises control under there. It is also easy to take off even with baby wipes. Oh yes, this does smudge a lil when there is a contact with water. I recommend the Superliner in gold tube if you are looking for a nice liquid eyeliner for thinner line, and go for this if you wanna rock that bold line look! The big tip make it easier to create it. Just a note, this eyeliner also contains Paraben and Alcohol. I don't really fond for this, I think it does not suits my small eye area.

Salam & hello everyone!
This is one of my great find for eyeliners! I find that i love marker eyeliner than gel or liquid. Although this is called a liquid eyeliner, I still categorize this as a marker liner because it applies like a pen!

Name : Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black
Price : RM49.00+
Availability : SASA Malaysia (Available in Deep Black and Brown) / www.sasa.com
Made in : Japan

This is the new look/packaging for the famous originally Koji Dollywink eyeliner. The one one comes in a polka dots design wile this one have a flower pattern on it. The packaging is very cute right! This liner have a very nice sharp tip that is also easy to control. As you can see, It works well on eyeshadow too, and if you can look closely, it does not preform shrply on cream eyeshadow. Maybe it is because of the texture. But then when I have done a waterproof test on it as you can see it stay perfectly on cream eyeshadow but creases a lot on bare skin and crease a little on shimmery and matte eyeshadow. If you wanna it to stay nicely, use a nice base on your lid. That might helps. So you judge. It dries quickly after you apply on your lid, so no messy problems! The liner is really pigmented! and does not smudge easily. The cons for this would be the price.. :(

Have you tried Koji eyeliner?

Silkygirl 2-in-1 Eyeliner Review

Assalamualaikum & hello everyone!

Recently I got the chance to try this duo pencil liner. Just the perfect timing as I was looking for a white eyeliner. There were not much available in stores here in Malaysia. First Impression, I kinda like i but not too much of a liking. because its a pencil type of eyeliner. I prefer a twisted/retractable pencil. I hate the fact I need to sharpen the pencil and it will get shorten, then I could not keep it for long... :(

I made a mistake. After a few experiment, I LOVE IT! I pretty much love the white shade side. It is super creamy and easy to apply. It was my first time having such a well workable white eyeliner. If you notice in some makeup tutorial on making your eyes look bigger, you have to apply a white eyeliner on your eye "tight-line". the inside surface under your eye. Most eyeliner does not "stick" well when I try to line it in. This works wonderfully and creamy. Staying power was ok, and smudging concern, it wont smudge if you don't smudge it. I love this eyeliner, but most probably I am more likely to love the White shade part than the Black one. The black one kinda similar to the other Silkygirl eyeliner which also work nice.

You an get this at any participating pharmacies like Watsons and Guardian at RM14.90.

Hugs and kisses
Sabrina
