Batiste Dry Shampoo Review

If the YouTube community say yes. I’m influence. Despite how cute and adorable each bottle are personalize. I’m in love by the concept it has. I guess you guys know about this and yes I will be reviewing the famous Dry Shampoo ever in the market now. It is Batiste and you know what? It is now officially available in Malaysia! Makes it more convenient and great is that its available official online through Health Hub. So I am very excited that I got to try all 7 variants that they offer. Including the colored ones! So there will be lots of picture here and in depth explanation of each variant. Excited? Let’s get it on!

What is Dry Shampoo?

In a nutshell dry shampoo usually comes in an "aerosol can" spray bottle like this one. It spray out this kind of fine dry powder to help soak up those dirt and excess oil leaving your hair just like after washing. Most dry shampoo has fragrance in it so it also leave your hair smell good. It’s perfect for a quick on the go step if you don’t have time to wash your hair alternately.

You might be wondering why I would want a dry shampoo when I am wearing hijab. Actually people who wear hijab need this! It is a must have product for all girls out there whether you are always wearing something on your head or not. Haha. I don’t know about you but I find it difficult to wash my hair every day. The time consume especially when you have long hair. Phew! Talk about those blow drying and towel dry session! It gave me muscle! Also there is an info telling me that you are not advisable to wash your hair every day. The natural oil of your hair is going to help moisturise your hair naturally. But sometime when the weather get humid especially in Malaysia. That greasy feeling. Just annoying! My hair feels itchy and uncomfortable. Hate it!

When talk about dry shampoo, Batiste is one of the most recommend brand out there! Don’t believe me? Try Google Dry Shampoo. The first thing you will see is Batiste Dry Shampoo range. There are so many type out there but right now Health Hub is carrying 7 most love variants from their collection. Here I got from left to right: Wild, Blush, Cherry, Original, Light & Blonde, Medium & Brunette, XXL Volume. The first 4 on the left has different scent. The other two which is the Blonde & Brunette series has hint of color and the last one which is XXL Volume has a volumizing effect for your hair.

How to use Dry Shampoo?

This is my way of doing it, I usually will comb my hair first, then I will lift up section of my hair from the bottom. I will lightly spray it to the roots. Then I just use my had to massage it in. Lastly, just comb it in place. Bamb! I just took a shower in a few seconds!

So here are all of the Batiste Dry Shampoo. I will explain each scent of the variants and let you know a bit more of each of them. First of all the scented variants.

Wild - Sassy & Daring

Uuu sassy! Reminds me of grav3yardgirl. Haha! Has a sweet and rich scent to it. Have an oriental like mandarin orange scent to it. If I am not mistaken.

Blush - Floral & Flirty

Make me feel super girly. Has a floral sweet fresh dewy and a little musky scent. Remind me of going into Lovely Lace store. Haha.

Cherry - Fruity & Cheeky

Love this one! Have a sweet cherry candy scent. Sweet but fresh. 

Original - Clean & Classic

Has a fresh linen scent. May sound weird but I love fresh linen scent! A little citrus y scent with hint of lemon. Very fresh and nothing sweet. 

Now for the grey capped Batiste. This series focus more on colour and effect. If you are looking for a non over powering dry shampoo with different effect. Try this range!

Light & Blonde - a hint of colour

Probally not for me. haha. Beause it is made for blonde people. Fine. You go have more fun then Just Kidding! This dry shampoo has a hint of yellow in it. Has a light fresh scent to it.

Medium & Brunette - a hint of color

Love this! Ya lah.. I always want a hint of brunette to my hair. Since I cannot dye my hair. This is a great product to give me just a little hint of chocolate colour to your hair. My hair is pretty black so it dies not really change the whole colour to my hair. The scent is similar to the blonde one.

XXL Volume - dry shampoo

This is perfect for that flat hair day situation! My hair is quite thick, so a little goes a long way for this. I find that the other dry shampo also gives volume but this one gives more. Has a similar scent to the blonde and brunette ones. Lightly spray this on the root and lightly tease your hair. There you go, a volume effect hair! Great for creating those flip fringe style or bun hair style.

Recommendation & Overall thoughts. This is a great product to have in your beauty products must have list. Whenever you are in a hurry and your hair feeling greasy. This is a great product to help out. I would not recommend you to use it every day and please don’t switch this method to your normal hair washing routine. If you keep on layering this (keep on spaying it for days and days. not cool man!), It will dry up your hair and leave white residue to your hair (For the non-colored ones) . Spray this at least 15 cm away from your hair. This is not an alternative to your regular washing. This does not help to remove the products (hair gel/hair styling products, dirt) It only helps to soak up the excess oil and greasy feeling on your hair instanly. Good to be use in between when you have wash your hair. It does leave my hair fresh and I have no problem on the days when I feel my hair is greasy and uncomfortable when wearing hijab. Also for the price tag, I find it is super affordable. Not overpriced. I love how it gives me different scent to choose from. i love good smelling hair! The smell last the whole day too! Also this makes a good decoration in your room. Haha! Must have!

Diamond V-Fit Mask Review

I have a very exciting product to show to you today and it is this Diamond V-Fit Mask that I receive from a beauty online store called E-Garden. This mask comes in set, in a box. Pretty sleek! In the box it contains a pamphlet explaining on how to use it, the mask sheet, a band called a slimming band that makes me look like I just broke a neck and a measuring tape which I misplace it after taking photo. So I am using my sewing measuring tape in this review. Haha. It just the same thing.

Lifting up and firming the shape of your face, promotes facial blood circulation and burn up extra fat on the face to remodel a V-Shaped face."

So below pictorial shows how I use the mask. I measure my face then I place the mask sheet under my jaw and sequre it with the slimming band. I use the mask for 40 minutes. During that 40 minutes, I felt a very heating sensation under my jaw. It does not hurt but I bet if you use this you cant ignore the heating sensation. So I just play with my laptop wait for it to do its job. After 40 minutes, I remove the band and mask. The mask seems to dried out a bit. The essence really gets into my skin.

I swear that this mask works! I am not even kidding you and I don't know how to convince you that below result is real! At first I was like, meh... Could it possible to make my face slimmer in just 40 minutes? It does! From my own assumption, this mask actually helps to reduce face bloating and maybe some upper surface fat around my face. Of course don't expect this mask is going to break your jaw bone to a smaller size. That is crazy. Have you ever heard or experience when you ate to much salty food, junk food and process food. You face tend to look fat or round (tembamb). This is because these food contains sodium and these excess sodium is going to "be around" your face and make you look bloated. You need a very high quantity of water and exercise to reduce this. So if you need a quick treatment and slimming effect, try this mask! 

As I told you, during that 40 minutes wearing this mask I felt a very warm but bearable kinda heat going on around my face. Like very heating but not burning kinda thing. I think that the heating helps to flow out the sodium out of my face. That is where my face become 2 cm slimmer. Which I think is amazing! My skin also feels firm, tight and hydrated. I went out my room excitedly and ask my mom if my face look slimmer but she said I look the same -_-. I can't really tell how it changes my face shape but I do feel that my face is firmer and slimmer. I can feel it!

Conclusion. This would definitely be a mask that I would repurchase for a special occasion other than the SK-II Mask that I love. If I would ever want to get married, I would want to have some mask or pampering time of my own and I already plan to buy the SK-II mask to use a week and a few days before that special day. This mask also has been in my list! I absolutely love this mask and it does help to reduce the bloated of my face instantly. Would be a great treatment before that special day because who want to look round on their wedding day! hehe. But also since this give me such a fast and instant result to my point of view, I don't recommend you to use this too frequently. Maybe a few this in a few month perhaps? I don't know what side effect this could give but what I can say is this would be a great mask to use before a special day or you know when a day that you want to look more slimmer. You know what I mean. Haha. I am not being paid to only say positive things about this mask. I tried this mask on October actually but been so busy and only today i got the chance to blog about it. It is really a a great mask to try!

Chamos Acaci Galactomyces Ferment Essence Review

Sometimes expensive things can be dupe with a less expensive skincare. By means you don't have to exactly buy that brand just because people said so. So it is also up to the consumer to choose. Along the way as I have review products, people ask me some skincare that they could buy that is also comparable to the other high priced tag skincare. So today I am going to feature again another serum that has said to be a dupe for the famous S brand. Why? Because of the ingredient they use are similar to that brand. Take a look at below simple product explanation.

This serum is said to have an ingredient called the Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate that said to be a similar ingredient use to the famous Miracle Water. This ingredient is usually used in making alcoholic beverages. Before you go aaa!, just to say that this serum does not contains alcohol. That means it has this preserve properties to retain freshness of a certain thing. Yes, this serum contains 100% off this said miracle ingredient that is called Galactomyces. I don't even know how to pronounce that. It said that this serum helps to Nourish your skin healthier and give you that deep hydration all day long.

What I like about it. Of course, I tend to fall in love quickly when a product does not leave my skin feels sticky and greasy. This serum absorb pretty fast and leaves my skin feels hydrated. I always love the dea of a serum that comes with that pump thingy. It looks cool and I can dispense the product our accurately.

What I don't like about it. Not really a dislike but just the scent slightly annoys me. Maybe thats all.

Overall & Recommendation. This serum is recommend to you if you are looking for a non added chemical type of serum with a concentrated ingredient that is said to help making your skin healthier, less dull with spot control properties and also anti aging. Or you might be familiar with the ingredient called Galactomyces because this serum is made 100% from that ingredient. I might say that this serum is good for women between 20s and above. So far this is a good serum, nothing much but a good addition to my skincare routine. I can see that it is hydrating enough under my makeup.

Smoothlegs Hair Removal Review

Good day everyone ♡. Here is another review from a product I for from Supermodel Secrets. It came with a box contains a few tools that comes in different sizes. It said that, the pads is covered with superfine crystals that buffs away the hair leaving it soft and smooth. The size of the large applicator is 112mmX76mm , and the small applicator is 76mmX35mm Package including with:

• 1 Large applicator ( perfect size to be use on large areas such as legs)

• 1 Small applicator (perfect size to be use on small areas such as facial hair area)

• 4 Large flex-crystal replacement pads

• 4 Small flex-crystal replacement pads

It supoose to be a replacement of what you use to use such as shaving cream and razor. That is said to give you Harsh Chemicals, Waxing, Electrolysis, Painful Plucking, Ripping Hair, Shaving, Costly Laser Treatments. It helps to removes Unwanted Hair and Exfoliates your skin. It said that this is a Safe, Soft and Painless way to remove hair and in result your hair grows back slower and finer with each use.

What I like about it. Not much actually. Just that it feels like giving your leg and exfoliation and it is easy to hold and use it against on skin. It comes in many sizes and erm. It's pink?

What I don't like about it. It sad that I have to admit I don't like this product. :( I want this to work for me but it just don't! It takes so much time to buff in order for my hair to be removed. and not all are removed. It feels like rubbing sandpaper on to your skin. *cries*

Overall & Recommendation. I am not fascinated or amaze with this product. I just don't understand how this works and how it is going to help remove my hair. It only works on my leg area but not under my arms and I don't even dare to use it on my bikini areas. I felt like my skin in burning after using it on my underarms. *cries again* Maybe it is just me who don't know how to use it. Meh.
