Yadah Pure Green Skincare Set

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Happy Monday, let's start the week with some skincare review shall we. Since I started my blog I am very much pampered with the love of YADAH product. Since it came to Malaysia, I have been loving their skincare product. I have a long list of favorite from this brand. They just launch a new skincare range that is called Pure Green. This series focus on hydration to soothe and soften. They minimized the chemical to create naturally pure and healthy skin. These series are suitable for any skin type especially dry skin. Like the before skincare series Yadah have came out with, these set comes in a hard plastic bottle, the before series comes in a "glass" bottle. I find these packaging are much more convenient and travel friendly.

Pure Green Toner 120ml | RM55.00
After cleanse you have to use toner. This step help you to prepare your skin to the next step which is moisturizer/emulsion/serum. Toner help gives you better absorption. There is no cleanser in these series. But if you want me to recommend the best cleanser from YADAH, try the Yadah Bubble Deep Cleanser or the Yadah Pore Refining Foam Cleanser. These are my favorite. Back to the toner, this toner has a "semi-thick" runny texture. Quite refreshing and light. Has a mild fresh scent. Does not leave your skin feel sticky. Pretty nice, for me most toners works the same. This product is recommended to be use as a complementary to this series.

Pure Green Emulsion 120ml | RM55.00
Second step is using Emulsion. Emulsion is pretty much like a moisturizer but mostly they are lighter. Featuring the Yadah Pure Green Emulsion that said to give your hydration by the Royal Jelly extract it has in this product. The texture of this emulsion is not thick and more like a very very light moisturizer.It absorbs pretty fast and it leaves my skin feels soft and hydrated. Compare this emulsion and the toner, the toner have more refresh scent to it. Prefect for a base for your everyday day skincare routine and makeup.

Pure Green Moisturizing Cream 50ml | RM65.00
Lastly is the moisturizer. This one comes in a plastic jar. It said that this moisturizer cream provides intense hydration and leaves skin moisturize smooth and refresh. The texture of this cream is thick but easy to blend and does not leave your skin with any white cast like some moisturizer cream I experience using. The scent is very refreshing and it absorb around a few seconds. This is also perfect to be use day and night but I prefer to use this during the night.

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I am very excited as I am going to review this product as this has been my current skincare for the past 2 plus weeks. Its a luxurious skincare set that promise an amazing result. Comes in a prestige blue catch magnet hard box, this does bring up a smile to my face. Love it! Introducing you, the Pristine’s Skin Rejuva Essential Pack, an anti-aging skincare range. It contains only the best nature’s rejuvenation and skin protective ingredients. Now now there. Anti Aging? Yes A huh! You need to take care of your skin elasticity from now on. Especially when you are already above 21 years old. Sun rays, frowning, stressing cause skin aging. Now we don't want that to happen. Uh-huh! No! 

Now let me give you the explanation of this skin problem that you need to take precaution. When your skin looks rough, dull, and you may notice that acne scars and wound seems very hard to heal. This is because you are losing the "elasticity factor". A proper caring and proper skincare can help you with this problem. I know I know this sound so clique. But seriously, a proper ingredient skincare especially the ones that does not give you a "future side effects" is a must. I don't want to sound so protocol or clique again, but here what i find interesting in the current skincare that I am using. Let's get on to the review.

This set contains 4 products. The very basic need you need to use in your everyday routine. Skin Rejuva said that it has this 6 benefits. Replenish - Restore - Repair - Rectify - Revitalize - Rejuvenate. Here is a quick introduction of the 4 products. Each products are numbered on which you need to use first by steps.

1. Refreshing Gel - 60ml

It is a gentle facial cleanser that promise you to give you that perfectly cleanses the skin and luminous complexion. If you want a fresh, clean sensation without the tightness and dryness from that usual harsh cleanser. This is for you. It is also formulated for sensitive skin types. It is also sulfate-free and non-irritating to the eyes and skin. Comes in a pump thick plastic bottle. Easy to dispense product out. The texture of the product is more like a gel. It works kinda like a safe everyday gentle exfoliate for me! <3

2. Cleanser Gel - 120ml

The facial cleaner. A must product you must you no matter how busy you are. Who does not clean their faces? Whoa. This cleanser gel can help encourage skin cell turnover and nutritional absorption for smoother, more radiant and healthier-looking skin. It is also sulfate-free and non-irritating to the eyes and skin. It will also gives you a skin brightening effect and deep cleaning through your pores. Also comes in a thick sturdy plastic bottle.

3. Hydrating Toner - 120ml

This Hydrating Toner is a skin-beneficial ultra-hydration toning lotion. It is recommend to be use after cleaning your skin. Helps to prepare your skin for the next product for better absorption. Oh yes, it is alcohol-free formula but also helps to refines the pores and tones the skin with its skin-soothing botanical ingredients. It also helps to protect your skin from environmental pollution. This comes in a twist cap hard plastic bottle. For my own personal preference usage, 3-4 pumps is already perfect to be apply to my whole face.

4. Facial Serum - 30ml

The finishing product that helps to give your skin the protection and aging needs. It can help to tone, firm, nourish and repair the skin. It just melts to your skin so quickly and does not leave your skin greasy and that uncomfortable feeling. Super easy to apply and blend in your skin. I personally agree with this! It said that wrinkles and fine lines are reduced, your kin becomes toned and firm and also leave your face glowing and naturaly radiant. It has a light, silky formulation that is instantly absorbed deep into the skin, leaving a matte, protective barrier to prevent water loss and reduce skin irritants. Totally agree with this! Its also safe and can use for under your eye to help fight wrinkles and lines. It is also a great makeup base!

There are many type of active ingredients use in this products. All of them are natural and no animals were harm on making this product! Phew! Thank you! Some of them are such as Hyaluronic Acid (best for hydration), Coconut Oil (best for sensetive Skin), Hamamelis Virginiana Flower Water (also known as witch Hazel, popular on products that helps eliminates bacteria), Fomes Officinalis (helps firm the skin and reduce pores), Rosemary (high in anti-oxidants), and many many more.

THE UNIQUE PRODUCT

Of all 4 items, this caught my attention so it deserve a single picture. Hehe. I cant really find skincare that offers this kind of product. So this title is given by myself. This Refreshing Gel is recommended to be use first before all products. As describe above, this works like a gel cleanser. I find that it helps to removes my dead skin cell in a very gentle way. It is not irritating and gives a burn sensation if you ask. This capture the dirt of the skin and leave your skin smooth and brighter.

PREPARING THE SKIN

I place my Step 1 (Refreshing Gel) and Step 2 (Cleanser Gel) in the bathroom. I make sure my skin and face is dry before starting to apply the refreshing gel. It works better on dry skin. So after removing my makeup I pat dry with a clean towel. 3-4 pumps on to my palm and I start rubbing it straight to my face. Using a circular motion on my fore head, cheeks and chin. A few seconds its kinda gently exfoliate my skin. I love how it gives a little tingling mint sensation and kinda strip of some of the left over dirt on my face. Then I rinse it off with water. Continue with the cleansing routine. Its okay if there is still some exfoliating residue on my face, because I am going to wash it off with the cleanser. 3-4 pumps of the cleanser plus some water. I foam it up and start washing my face. This is how my first routine goes with the 1st and 2nd product. What I can feel after using both of this product is that, as usual, my skin feels clean and super love how it does not make my skin feels too dry.

SEALING IT IN

The other 2 product from this set that i put on my vanity table, is the Step 3 (Toner) and Step 4 (Facial Serum). After pat dry, I took 2 ply of cotton pads. 3-4 drops of the toner and I apply it in upward motion. Let it dry for a few seconds and then I took the Step 4, Facial Serum. The texture of this serum is like a moisturizer. I just love this serum because it absorb in my skin like so fast! Leaving my skin matte and hydrated. I apply this serum in circular motion. And wall-la! Finish. How easy is that. Haha. This routine really help with my busy all day long dont have time for skincare routine day. 

Here is my bare face again! Haha. I hope I don't scare you. I have use this product for 2 weeks plus now. It said that it is best within 28 days. But I am just gonna give you a 2 weeks verdict to see how fast and effective this product is. What I can see the difference is that my skin is less sensitive in a way that I don't really have to worry when wearing a foundation. I am avoiding as much as I can from wearing a foundation because I find that it can cause enlarging pores and acne bumps. This help preventing it from happening. A can also see my eye bag a lil bit firmer. I can still see the appearance of my eye bag but it kinda reduce a bit from my own opinion. The most significant result I can see is that my skin become smoother. Applying foundation and BB Cream have never been so easy! Also I love how all of this skincare does not have a scent that can give me this kinda "boring" routine.My skin also feels less oilier than it use to be. Paul Penders Skincare Range

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. If you have been following me in my Instagram you may have know that recently me and my Butterfly friends went to Langkawi for some awesome mission! I will blog about it later tomorrow about that trip introduction of Paul Penders and first of all I want to give an insight of the Paul Penders Skincare that we get to try hand in hand in front of the founder it self!

This is Paul, the Founder of Paul Penders who have live in Malaysia for over 10 years. He is also a Muslim. He decided to stay in Langkawi because he has found that our country are beautiful and have lots of good ingredients he can do a research for his skincare and makeup items. Paul is an active environmentalist and avid animal rights activist to his beliefs into his skincare and cosmetics. All of Paul Penders product are strictly contains "no chemicals" and "no animal testing" that were started with shampoos and later with more products such as skincare. He is indeed an animal lover! We sat inside his awesome office with an ocean view. We sat in circle and Paul began to give a little introduction on his products. How lucky we are to get a face to face interview with the founder!

We started out the session with the skincare introduction. First we were given this "skin profile" checklist. Also we were given a set of skincare products that suits our skin. Later we get to test out each of the skincare product on the back of our hand. Before the skincare routine start, we jot down our current moisture level. I will be showing the before and after in below demonstration. 

After testing out the skincare range, we get to try this best seller product from Paul Penders! It is the Intensive Clarifying Therapy (ICT). This mask is unique because you get to use it after you mix both product together before you apply it. Let me give you a little brief about this mask. It claims to clarifies your skin and helps prevent fine lines and wrinkles and also promotes the skin's natural elastin, collagen production and helps to reverse premature signs of aging. It also will give your skin clarified immediately! It contains LevensESSENTIE Gold® (a mixture of 22 certified organically grown herbs + essential oils that is naturally derived  from sunflowers, antioxidants and vitamins A and E. Both men & women can use this mask! Wohoo!

1. First pour the herbal powder into a bowl. Approximately 2 scoops or eyeball it. If you are sharing with you friends (sharing is caring!) pour a bit more okay. 

2. After that make sure to close the lid afterwards tightly to keep its freshness.

3. Now add exactly 3/4 scoop of ICT II (Fortified Liquid) into mixing bowl.

4. Now strip it up! The texture should be like a paste.

5. Now that is my current skin moisture, before applying anything. 31.0.

6. Now apply it on to your skin.

7. Now bro fist! This is optional tho.

8. Wait till its a bit dry. You don't need to wait till its fully dry, to this state you can rinse it off. I love how it gives me this cooling sensation!

9. Now moisture level check! From 31.0 to 58.2! Wow! Need I say more? My skin also feels so good and plumpy! I love this mask!

Now I am going to introduce to you the skincare range. If you have a combo skin like me, a lil bit dry and oil. Best of both world right? Haha. From left to right :

1. Paul Penders Alpinia & Teatree Cleansing Wash 120ml | RM85.00

This is for combination to oily skin. This cleanser has a light and a little bit foamy texture. This facial cleanser are plant-derived ingredients claims to gently remove surface dirt and impurities. It also has a natural antibacterial action from an Alpinia extract. This cleanser really smells like the ordinary tea tree oil products. If you are a fan of that scent you would love this! I also love the scent of this cleanser! 

2. Paul Penders Calming & Soothing Mist 100ml | RM78.00

This mist is suitable for all skin types. Also can be use like a toner. Just spritz it on a cotton pad and wipe your face as usual. Also this can be a handy item in your handbag, whenever you feel uncomfortable with your face and need a lil bit of freshness to your face, just spray this lightly! Contains Roman Chamomile that is used to soothe all skin types. It’s anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic properties helps soothe even the most delicate skin. This mist has a light herb scent and feels a lil bit cooling when applied.

3. Paul Penders Aloe & Lavender A. M. Moisturizer 30g | RM95.00

This moisturizer are advisable to be use during your morning skincare application. This moisturizer claims to be a  gentle and light all-day moisturizer for replenishing dry and sensitive skin, protecting skin from dehydration. It absorb fast and contains good stuff such as aloe vera extract, and fine calendula and flax-seed oils. It also contains natural SPF protection!

4. Paul Penders Herbal Sunscreen SPF 22 70g | RM95.00

This sunscreen is suitable for all skin types. Claims to be a sunscreen that provides broad spectrum from all that nasty harmful UV rays. Ingridients such as vitamins repair, soothe and hydrate the skin. If you are wondering since Paul Penders are a non-chemical skincare arnge, the sun protection comes from ethyl hexyl methoxycinnamat that is naturally extract in balsam and cinnamon leaves. This sunscreen does not have that typoical sunscreen scent, but it has a strong herb scent. It does not leave white cast after applying it and does not feel sticky at all.

SK-II Pitera Facial Treatment Essence: 14 days later

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡ . How has Chapter 2 of the year been going for you guys? Have you seen my previous post on my SK-II journey? I am going to give you a full insight of my journey with this miracle water. Many have said that this Pitera essence works miracles for them. If you don't know what Pitera Essence is, you can check out my first introduction post here, (link) and how I got my skin analyzed for problems here, (link).

So I have been using this since the 1st of January, as part of my resolution to keep my skin better. Since this is a Holy Grail product to most women out there, I am going to give this miracle water a shot. So I changed my skincare routine for the purpose of this product. I cleanse my face using a facial cleanser, just switching from one to another (from a mild scrubbing one and a foaming one) and then I pat dry my face. This is where my SK-II routine starts. I start with the toner (the one in the small bottle), wiping my face using cotton pads and then use the essence just like a toner since the texture of this miracle water is watery.

First impression. This essence Well, first thing I notice that 3–4 drops of this is fairly enough to cover the entire face, but I like to use 4–5 drops just to make my cotton pads more moist. Second, yes I got to admit it since I am very picky with my skin care scent. This Miracle water does have a slightly sour scent to it. I am still new to this, we will see if I can get over the smell later. It is not too strong but you can smell it after wiping your face. It absorbs fast and your skin can feel a lil sticky for a few seconds and then your skin soon feels supple! I am not lying! During my lazy days, I kind of skip my moisturizer routine. After cleansing, I just wipe my face using this essence and I feel good to go. I have not used the mask yet, I am going to use it after 1 month or so. Yep, there will be a final post on my whole verdict on this product. 14 days to me is too short to claim its "miracle" power so stay tuned for another post.

My thoughts after 14 days. WOAH to my bare skin. Haha. I don't know if you can tell but there is a different skin tone to both pictures. I have tried to take so many pictures but all of them turn out the same. I am not sure if skincare can make your skin look better in camera? Probably, because I find after using this essence, every time I took a selfie, my skin is brighter. Also you guys know that having nice skin is not about being fairer. Clear pretty skin is about having that translucent clean skin which looks like you have this soft textured skin and visible fair skin. Too much glow and yellowish skin tone can make you look dull.

After 14 days of using it, I can't really show in the picture but I feel my skin is less oily, or maybe not oily anymore. Like seriously and I am not trying to hard sell this product. When I woke up in the morning, my skin is not oily, not over hydrated (sticky face) and my face is brighter. Especially on my forehead, it looks so obvious because I have a big forehead and it really gives that nice glow on my skin. What I cannot see is that my spots are pretty much the same but my redness has been totally reduced. Foundation and makeup application in the morning is easier. My skin is smoother; there are some pores but they’re not that obvious. My skin is a little firmer too. Overall, I think I have to give this more days of testing to see the final result.

I will also practice good diet and healthy living. I have been stressed for the past week because of my Final Year Presentation. I hope I can continue using this with a good lifestyle and see how this will make my skin healthier. Its a perfect travel size skincare that fit just what I need. So after 1 week plus of using it, here is what I thought about it. This is a trial set that contains 4 basic skincare needs, Cleanser, Moisturizer, Sunscreen & Night Solution. This set comes in two set. This probably gonna last you for a month! You can choose for what suits your skin, its available for Combination/Oily, Normal/Dry. Mine is Combination. Claims to be a skincare set with 11 age-defying benefits in one system, the TimeWise® Miracle Set® is clinically shown to reduce the appearance of fine lines and helps improve skin elasticity and even skin tone. Its not too early to use a anti aging skincare right, especially if you already reach 20s.

This claims to be a cleanser that combines age-fighting benefits plus three essential skin care benefits in one product, to cleanse, exfoliate and refresh. It is Dermatologist-tested., suitable for sensitive skin., fragrance free, Hypoallergenic, clinically tested for skin irritancy and allergy & Non-comedogenic that will not clog pores). This cleanser serve well to me, its refreshing as well as does not tear of my skin to make it feel dry. It have a small micro-beads in it if yo can see in the picture above. It cleanse my skin nicely and leave my skin fresh and moisturize. It does not have any overpowering smell. The full size cleanser price at RM108.00 for 127g.

Of all 4 items this is my favorite. For long time I have been searching for the fastest skin absorption moisturizer. So this does the job. Claims to be a moisturizer that is formulated with a patented complex that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains a powerful antioxidant to help guard against free radical damage. Hydrates for up to 10 hours. Its hydrating as well as feel so light on the skin. Does not feel sticky at all. If you love that kid of moisturizer, you gotta try this one. I am considering of getting the full size. Full Size product price at RM118.00 for 88ml. 

The final step during your skincare routine during the day, of course as I mention so much sunscreen is super important. It is the main causes of fast skin aging. This sunscreen is super light and it has a watery texture. Does not feel sticky at all and does not have that overpowering sunscreen scent. It does not leave any white cast to the face after applying and it is easy to blend in. Love this stuff too! Claims to be a sunscreen that helps prevent sun damage such as lines and discoloration before it occurs by shielding skin from damaging UVA/UVB rays. Full size product price at RM155 for 29ml.

For night time routine, skip the sunscreen and switch to this product. Its a night solution during night time. I adore this product too because it does not leave my skin feel sticky. It absorb fast and leave my skin feel fresh. Comes in a pump bottle both trial size product as well as full size product. Claims to be ​a unique delivery system of Nutribeads® microcapsules contain highly effective antioxidants essential for skin's renewal process. Full size product price at RM155 for 29ml.
