The Body Shop Hair Care in Fuji Green Tea & Ginger Review

Yesterday I talk about the Banana Hair Care range from The Body Shop. Today there is more! There are also in the version of Ginger and Fuji Green Tea. If you have dry hair & scalp. You should try the ginger hair shampoo. It leaves your hair refresh and smooth. Blended with potent ginger from Sri Lanka, birch bark, white willow extracts and Community Trade Honey. The scent is a bit disturbing to me haha. It reminds me of my confinement days. You know, ginger all day every day. But it is quite fresh and light. This retails for RM39.00 each for 250ml product.

This shampoo is enriched with revitalizing Japanese green tea. My favorite! It smells so good!  No wonder it smells so refreshing! This shampoo os perfect for you who have normal hair. Also, it contains Commodity trade honey from Ethiopia. Now, something new and exciting. Have you ever heard of hair scrub? Interesting right. This Fuji green tea hair scrub is made from blends of Japanese Green Tea, mint menthol, salt crystals and community trade honey from Ethiopia. How to use it, simply massage into the scalp to stimulate blood flow and removes impurities. This way it is much more effective in removing stubborn dirt such as the pollutants, hair styling products and much more. They are all not formulated with silicones. The shampoo retails for RM39.00 and the Hair scrub is RM89.00.

The Body Shop Banana Truly Nourishing Hair Care Range Review

Who says you only need to eat right when your hair also love some fruits and veggies? The new hair range by The Body Shop got me craving for some banana dessert! In the Banana Nourishing line, it offers from shampoo, conditioner to hair mask. Great for people who have normal to dry hair.
The first one is this shampoo that is enriched with delicious ripe Community Trade Organic Banana Puree from Ecuador. Yes, it smells really like a real banana! This shampoo helps to clean and leave your hair with it sweet tropical scent. This helps to give dull hair a shine and hydrated. They are also formulated with no silicone. This retails for RM39.00 each for a 250ml product.
Option one, use a conditioner to help maximize the benefits. I always use conditioner after shampoo. This usually leaves my hair much softer and the scent will last longer. I leave this on to my hair for 5-10 minutes then rinse off. This also helps tangle my dry hair and leave it soft and silky. Other option you can try their hair mask which is more concentrated. Use this 1-2 times a week to maintain soft silky hair. This conditioner retails for RM39.00 each.

The Body Shop Peeling Gels Review

Today I am going to talk about peeling gels! It is my first time trying out this kind of products and it took me a while to understand ow it works, how to use it and what it does to my skin. Basically peeling gels are like exfoliators, they aren't peels, and they aren't masks. It is an alternative to scrub that is very easy and gentle. Peeling gels usually comes in, obviously gel texture. A thick liquid that allows you to control the product on to your hand when massaging onto your skin. A proper exfoliation will slough off dead cells, making room for new, fresh looking skin.
The two peeling gels that have tried out are these peeling gels from The Body Shop. Let's talk about it individually as below.
The first one is the from the Drops Of Youth collection, liquid peel. Comes in a 145ml pump tube. This features ingredients that will help to lift up your skin and remove dead skin leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean. What you do is pump out about 2 squeeze amount of this gel and rub onto your skin in circular motion. I tried this on to my wet face and damp face. I think it works best with damp skin. As you go along, you can see little clumps balls out from your skin. If you do this about 2-3 times a week, you can definitely feel your skin much cleaner and smoother as this already helps to remove all the dead skins. This allows your skin to absorb your skincare better. Compare this to the Vitamin C which I will review next, is that this feels a bit fresher ad less sticky. This price at RM125.00 each.

The second is from the Vitamin C range. This peeling gel is said to target skin problem caused by pollutants. This has a brightening effect on the dull skin. This has a bit more sticky feeling when I rub it in but if you do it correctly, this also helps remove my dead skin cells gently. It has a bit brightening effect than the Drops of Youth version. The picture above are after my hand uses the Drop Of Youth peeling gel, so there aren't much dead skin cell can be seen, haha. But this also balls up the dead skin cell when you rub it in. You will need to rinse your face again & again until the sticky feeling went away. Overall it's a pretty good one.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Range Review

Vitamin E is know for its antioxidants benefits. It helps to keep skin looking younger and protects your skin from harmful radicals. The Body Shop has a full Vitamin E range skincare that you can check out. Here I have tried a few and another product is a Multi-Protection Essence that I have paired with the other skincare in this post.
Sunblock can be very heavy on the skin. Lots of brands has come out with a light textured sun protection product to help users use them without feeling sticky or uncomfortable. Here is the Skin Defence Multi-Protection Essence with SPF 50 PA++++ from The body Shop. A  lightweight essence with sun protection. At the same time is has properties such as Anti-oxidant & Anti-dullness. What I like about it is that it contains Vitamin C that helps to brighten skin too.
The Vitamin E range that I have talked about is this Aqua Boost Essence. A concentrated lotion that said to hydrate your skin up to 48 hours. Use this after toner and then I use the Moisture Protect Emulsion that also has sun protection (30 SPF PA +++). Both are powered Biofermented Hyaluronic Acid. These are great to be use during day time and great for any skin types.

Pinita Colada by The Body Shop Review

It sounds so cheeky but I think it is inspired by a drink called Piña Colada. As I looked at these body care range it totally reminds me of a summer vibe by the beach with hats on and a coconut drink on your hand. Hehe. Well, I did get the chance to experience that at the moment so why not experience it in during my shower? During my weekends during the day, to help makes me feel happy and refreshed I go for these sweet scented body care from The Body Shop.

First is this Pinita Colada Body Scrub, as you all know, I love love love body scrub. It is blended with real shredded coconut as an exfoliator. Sweet tropical scents that is not overpowering and it is refreshing. It helps makes my skin smoother and of course get all of the dead skin cells away. The scrub is soft and fine, not too rough and does feels good when massage it in to my skin. Then I go for the Shower gel, the Pinita Colada Shower Gel which only retails for RM35.00! It has the same sweet tropical scent just like the scrub. This lathers pretty well and of course, I feels so refreshed after using this. Puts me into a good mood with the scent! Then introducing to this pretty cool product called the Pinita Colada Body Sorbet, it is just like a body lotion but has a more frosted texture. Keeps your skin hydrated all day long. Pretty light weight and pretty easy to massage it into my skin.
