Miss Hana Water Proof Gel Eyeliner Matte Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Eyeliners. Its like everyone first makeup product right? I mean except for the powders. I categorize my first makeup product as a colored makeup products would be the eyeliner. High five if you are too! To tell you the truth the journey of my eyeliner purchase is quite an adventure. Haha. There is so many type of eyeliners in the market. Mostly all of us will go for the pencil liner as a first step and it will eventually upgrade to gel liner, liquid liners or even marker liners. So today I am going to review one of the eyelienrs I have tried. It is from Miss Hana. Comes in 4 different options to choose from. A matte black (Night Black), matte brown (Choco Brown), glittery black (Galacy Black), and a glittery brown (Golden Brown). So I got the Night Black and the Choco Brown.

It is describe as an eyeliner that based in waterproof, oil, concentrated color three demands, Extreme color, Gelatinous texture and extremely waterproof. You can check out their website www.nattacosme.com fro more info, but it is written in Chinese language. So if you know how to read Chinese language, good for you! So I have tried this eyeliner during my days to the office. First off, I love how this eyeliner is packed. Oh absolutely, it is pink! The downside of this product is that its really hard to differentiate which one is which color as they look the same. The texture of this eyeliner is super smooth.More like a gel texture as you can actually scribble this on the back of your hand and use an angle brush to apply it. It does not goes smoothly on your inner lid maybe because its waterproof. You inner lid is a bit wet right, so its a bit difficult to glide over there. The pigmentation is nice too, not too heavy not too sheer. In terms of waterproof and smudging, well I don't recommend this to be use under your lid as its smudges easily but it stays nicely about 2-3 hours on your lid. It can also be use as an eye shadow, just draw some line on your lid and smudge it with your finger.

Overall, I recommend this to beginners who are exploring pencil liners. Its not too bold and it does looks natural. I love the choco brown color! If you get bored with that usual black liner, go for the brown! It makes your eyes looks natural with a hint of that earth tone natural color.

Yadah Pore Refining Skincare Set Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. When talking about pores I bet most of us have this problem. Pores are the little bumps that appear on our face and sometimes it causes this kinda "stuck" dirt on you face. I have a habit of popping it out as it makes me feel clean. LOL. What kind of sentence is that. As we are exposed to the heat and all that we may produce unwanted oils and this catches the dirt around us and this is what causes one of the pores problems. I might assume that this problems are mostly experience by teenagers and young adults. So if you are looking for a skincare to this problem. Let's check out my review on this skincare targeted to this pore problem called the Yadah Pore Refining Series. I bet you guys know a brand called Yadah. I review lots of their products too! As you know Yadah key ingredients is the native Opuntia Ficus Indica (aka the Indian or Barbary Fig) extract, a unique species of cactus organically grown and cultivated in Korea. Opuntia Ficus Indica is known for its strong anti-inflammatory and high potent antioxidant properties which help neutralise free radicals harmful to the skin. This is the skincare set that I have been using for the past month.

First stop, the cleanser. This is the Pore Refining Foam Cleanser. It said that this is a mild facial foam contains egg white extracts that remove excess sebum and impurities, Mineral Water and Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Water, helps to astringe pores elasticity. It can help to clear pore, eliminate excess oil, reduce shine and minimize pores. It also contains  2000mg Albumen Extract from Egg whites to control excess sebum and remove deep-down dirt in order to cleanse and brighten your skin. I love how this cleanser is easily foams and does not have over powering scent. It is not drying after cleansing and I can face feels clean and fresh after using it. 

Second step is the toner, called the Pore Refining Toner. The toner packed inside a box. I love how Yadah makes their products so exclusive! The bottle is made out of a matte finishing glass that is a bit heavy and may need a proper bag to store it during traveling. Another point for this product are that it comes in a pump which makes dispensing products easy. This toner is describe as  highly refreshing toner, enriched with plentiful fresh Mineral water and Nelumbo Nucifera Flower water, helps to astringe pores for elasticity. This toner has a thick consistency and it is not like other toner you may find. Usually toner are watery right? What I like about this toner is that its not sticky and easy to apply. 3-4 pumps can cover my whole face. It takes around 1 minute to really absorb to your skin.

The third step is using the emulsion. If you don't know what emulsion is, it is somewhat like a moisturizer or a serum. So a simple 1-2-3 steps with this are just good to go! This is called the Pore Refining Emulsion. It is also comes in a box packaging and the bottle is made out of a matte finish glass. This is describe as a emulsion that helps to reduce breakouts and blackheads. This also does not have overpowering scent. Its need a bit of massaging to really absorb to your skin. Overall I think this skincare is perfect for you who are looking for a simple skincare rage to help with your pores problem.

COVO Timeless Eyeshadow Palette | True Nude Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Happy weekendss! Oh I forgot its already Monday. Hmm... Ok, here I will review the latest eyeshadow palette that I got to try. Yes, it is again a product from Covo Cosmetics. Been trying their ranges of products around a lot. One of their best seller items are the Timeless Eyeshadow palette that comes in 2 options. One is this one called True Nude and the other one that consist of bright colors called the Vibrant Palette. Describe as the Timeless Eyeshadow Palette is a collection of 14 versatile and timeless shades hand-picked by COVO Makeup Professionals to flatter any woman and almost any occasion. This gorgeous palette features matte, shimmer and glitter textures that blend effortlessly, keeping the colour fresh all day long. The highly pigmented eyeshadow are enriched with Vitamin E and nourishing active ingredients that improves the depth of fine lines and wrinkles. It said that it is a timeless collection of colors for you. Kinda like a palette that consist all the colors that you may have need. Look at the palette it self, all the colors dies look gorgeous!

My thoughts. Let's talk about the packaging first. This palette is packed in a box and the palette itself is made out of a hard cardboard with illustrations. Did you know that the illustrations were created by Kerry, a top illustrator in Paris that has create illustrations for or big name clients such as Kate Spade, Collette Dinnigan and Net-A-Porter.com. One thing I wish if these eye shadows has its own name for each color. Each color are arrange nicely and the color arrangement made its easy to differentiate and choose the color you want from light to dark. Pigmentation wise. Some of them are very buttery smooth some of them are quite chalky. They are build able and can be also be apply with finger easily. Most of them are shimmery. The pigmentation is quite impressive as I don't even need an eye primer to make it opaque but you need a good base to make it last longer. I also tried it with the COVO concealer as a base to make the application easy and lasting. On color selections, I think they all look lovely, perfect for beginner. These eye shadows color can be worn alone or use the darker shades to contour your crease and create infinite natural looks with these! Below are the looks that I came out with this palette. My brow are also filled in with these eye shadow.

This palette comes with a dual ended brush that is a top notch quality of brush! I love how Covo Cosmetics include tools in their products that really have a part. Haha. You know what I mean like sometimes the brush that comes with a blusher or something will end up in a rubbish bin because they are useless. I am impress by the brush. They are really perfect for beginners. The fluffy one are great for blending and the other one is great for packing eye shadows on the lid. Overall this is a good palette if you are looking for a starter nude palette, that will cost you around RM10+ for each eye shadow that comes with a high quality eye shadow brush. Purfect!

COVO HD Picturesque Concealer Review | Sand

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. How your weekend so far? Good? When it comes to concealer, I am a big fan. I love trying out lots of different concealers because I find that it is one of the most used product in my makeup stash and usually I get to use it till the last drop as in a way it will be well loved. So I got to try this concealer from Covo Cosmetics. It is called the HD Picturesque Concealer and the shade I got here are in Sand. There are 2 option of colors available. I decide to go for Sand as what I saw in the website it looks a bit darker and has a yellow tone to it. It might be a good concealer for under my eye.

Describe as a high definition concealer that has a weightless cream and comes in a multi-functional formulation that helps to cover imperfections instantly. The light-diffusing powder creates a soft-focus effect, minimises the appearance of blemishes, dark spots, fine lines and other imperfections for a radiant flawless complexion. This concealer comes in a light weight jar with a twist to open lid. If you don't have a brush, you may use your finger by dabbing it out. I use my Face Shape brush from Zoeva and my ELF Small Stippling brush to apply this, but sometimes I use my finger too!

My thoughts. First impression, I love how creamy this concealer is. It is very opaque and highly pigmented, as what concealer should be. At first I thought I got the lightest shade but no I was not wrong, this is the second darker shade that they have. For my opinion, it looks pretty bright than I expected. I love to use this under the eye because if its creaminess that actually quite hydrating, but since it does not have a yellow tone that I was expected, my under dark circle does not really covered up but this helps to brighten the areas of my face. So what I do is I top it off with the COVO Loose Powder that has a yellow tone on top of the concealer. This is also looks lovely on the area of my nose and part where I want to highlight for example my fore head and chin. It is quite easy to blend. Sometimes it leaves streaky lines if If don't use my brush properly, and I will use my finger to dab the excess to blend it it. Overall, it is an okay product. Use it with a light powder on top to about cakeyness. This is a great creamy concealer for all over the face. Pad over a powder on top to make it last long especially if you are trying to cover up spots.

ELF Blusher | Peachy Keen

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. This goes to the second product I got from BareBeautyShop! Its a blusher! Wuhoo! Ok calm down... When I stated collecting makeup, this blusher was one of my first ever blusher and yes with the same shade. Peachy Keen. It is well loved and I totally finish using it! Like totally! ( say it like a bimb.) So now I got another one. Shows that i really love this blush indeed! You can't purchase ELF Cosmetics here in Malaysia. So this blush has been in the market for quite a long time. Known for its awesome cheap price and color selection. It is also raved all around YouTube. ELF Cosmetics said that the soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow! The blusher came with a box. Although the price is unbeatable, it is still packaged nicely. Appreciate that. The case kinda reminds everyone like the NARS matte black type of pacakging. It does gets dirty easily tho. So bare with that. It also has a mirror inside as well as you can see the color of your blusher through it. Really convenient. The texture of this blusher is surprisingly not tacky. It is smooth and the pigmentation is very nice in a way that it is easy to control. I love how this gives a nice sheer of glow and the peach tone just looks natural on me. It last for 2-3 hours. Love this blush!

The shade I got is Peachy Keen. It is a peach undertone blusher with a hint of gold shimmer in it. It is a light-medium pigmentation. It is a bit dull, so this blusher is perfect for a brighter lipstick color to your lip to match the whole face.

ELF Luscious Liquid Lipstick | Nude Pink

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I receive some ELF Cosmetics goodies from BareBeautyShop recently and I am pretty excited to review it. So today i will be reviewing 2 ELF products. Starting off with this Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Nude Pink! Told ya I am going to spam you guys with lots of lip products. Haha. This Luscious Liquid Lipstick comes in many shades selection. From Nude to Reds. ELF said that this is a lip therapy! Intensive hydrating agents along with rich pigments leave lips with long-lasting color and moisture. The Luscious Liquid Lipstick creates gorgeous wearable color that flatters a multitude of skin tones and looks.

This Liquid Lipstick I might categorize as a lip gloss due to the texture it has. The product comes in a cardboard type of packaging that you normally see in the market. As you know I love lip product when I am able to see the real product/shade through the packaging it self. You can see from my gif image that you need to twist the bottom part of the lipstick to dispense the product out. i love the slanted shape of the applicator on top. It makes the application easy and accurate. It pushes the product out nicely and does not leave a mess. Hey! You are only paying RM18 and you able to use the product fully! You know what I mean? It will be well loved! Haha. As for the texture, I love it! I love how it stays on my lip and does not have that super sticky feeling and "heavy" texture. I love the shade too, it looks so natural and hydrating. Pigmentation wise, super nice! It is not sheer but it is just nice. I really recommend this lip gloss or lipstick is what they called.
