D.I.Y No Sew Revamp old Cushion Stool

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. I am actually having fever right now. But I just can't calm myself from posting a blog post today. I have been keeping these picture in my folder for quite a long time as well as I realize that I have not done a DIY post ever since. As you know I am in the process of giving my room a makeover. So there is a lot of old stuff in my room that I felt that need a lil revamping to be done to make it look new. So today I am going to show you om how you can change your old stool or even any chair that has a cushion on top of it to a whole new look by just using 3 simple materials. No sew needed. You can customize to the fabric that you love to the furniture you want it to be. So this is pretty fun. Just staple it away and your done. So here I got my vanity cushion stool that is pretty much look disgusting because Tubbie pee on it. I try to wash it off but yellow stain starts appearing after it dries. It looks so disgusting to me and I barely sit on it. Haha. So here is the before and after picture. Now let's get on to the project!

What you need is a fabric of your choice. Here I got from IKEA. Its RM29.90 per meter. I only use 1/2 of it actually. Its a good thick cotton fabric. The color is vibrant and just perfect for this project. You can also get the fabric from your local fabric store like Jakel, or Kamdar. Just choose any fabric that you like for this project. Want a plain one or floral pattern. Your choice! Then you need a staple gun and a scissors.

1. Eyeball the length and width of the fabric on to the stool. Most project i google actually take off the whole stool. But I am pretty lazy for that. I am just going to wrap it on the stool it self.
2. Once you get the length of the fabric to be wrap around the cushion, cut it off.
3. Now adjust and lay the fabric on the cushion.
4. First step, we are going to staple the left and right first to the inside of the cushion. Fold it in and hold it.

5. Now the fun part, staple the fabric that you have fold it inside securely. If you are already on the second side, try to stretch it firmly and staple it in. Don't worry, the staple wont be seen since its inside.
6. Now you have done both side, now let's go to the last 2 sides that need more adjustment and cutting to wrap it around.
7. See this extra side of the fabric, eyeball it and cut it off so you can fold it in.
8.Cut it off and staple it in nicely.

9. Now to the edge sides. What you need to do is cut it in half like picture shown.
10. Fold it nicely inside to it forms like a nice folded effect of the edge.
11. Now staple it inside to form a wrap around the edge.
12. What's left, just cut it off and staple it in again. Look at each side and staple any edges that coming out so it looks neat. Pretty much just like warping a present!

Today I am going to review this product that has been raving by bloggers from other Asian country. This Kiss Whitening Collagen Mask is said to be the best seller beauty product in Thailand. Stella Lee the Indonesian Blogger have review it too, and many more. So thanks to KISS Malaysia for giving me the product to try it.

Basically what this product does is that, it helps to brighten, hydrate, fades acne scars, reduce pore, cure acne prone skin and firm your skin. I have use this product for 3 weeks now and actually there is a good different. Here I am going to give a little more introduction of the product first. It is made from 100% natural ingredient and its suitable for any skin type. It is formulated with ingredients such as Vitamin C, Collagen Peptide, Grape Seed Extract, Jojoba oil, Pro Vitamin B5, Deep sea seaweed and Alpha Arbutin that said to help restore skin to be more radiant and beautiful. No ingredients such as mercury and steroids.

Now let's talk about the product in first impression. This cream comes in a box with details on it. The product itself comes in a jar with a pump on top of it. You need to press it down in order to let the product out. The pump serve no mess and trouble to me which is good. The texture of the cream is just like any other cream but has a lightweight feel to it. No overpowering scent to my opinion.

Recommended to be use 2 times a week. I read it after using it everyday for 2 weeks which I find funny for my self. Haha. But there is no bad side effect happen to me even I use it everyday. I use it during my night skincare routine on to the last step of my routine. After Cleanse, Eye Cream, Toner and then I use this. So basically I use it like an overnight sleeping mask. A mask that you wear just like a moisturizer but you cleanse it after you wake up in the morning. It is not heavy and does not feels like a mask at all. It feels just like any other overnight cream. Easy to blend and actually absorb to your skin and your skin does not feels sticky. After a few weeks using it, I find that it always keep my skin plump and hydrated in the morning. I usually will smile and touch my cheeks in the morning looking at it on how hydrated they are. This is a really good cream for hydration to my opinion. It also makes my pores less visible and it brightens up my skin! In terms of fading acne scars and treat acne prone skin, I can't comment on that because I can't really tell on how it treated my acne scars since it looks the same and I don't have acne prone skin.  But overall, I really love this! You can use it as a night moisturizer or as a cream mask. Apply it generously on to your face and wash it after wards.

After those hearty dishes, now lets get on to the sweets. They also serve fresh fruits. Want to fancy up a bit, they also serve Rojak. My mom would love this!

The best part to my opinion. The dessert table. Filled with so many type of sweet desert you can choose. From Coconut Jelly, Red Velvet Cake, Lychee Jelly, Chocolate Nousse and my favorite Pudding Caramel.

They also serve Malaysian style keuh if you want! Ondeh2 and more!

Now, save the best for the last! They specially are also these menus that you need to check out. They serve this special kinda dessert dipped with their melted chocolate. They also have their own homemade ice cream that you need to try.

The last specially that they are offering are these. It is called Sousvide Eggs. Can be eaten wither with Soy Sauce or they Mushroom Sauce. It is my first time trying but they are delish!

So come boom your seats for you and your family. For me this is the most best Ramadan Buffet price and rates. Usually they cost RM70+ above. I totally recommend this Buffet to you. They will also switch up menus and serve you more than this. Do book your seats now! I promise you won't regret it.

My Review. I don't know if it was me or the product. It taste awful. :( I find hard time to consume this. It taste like... I don't know. I wish it taste good just like the Fairy Beauty Drink Blossom & Whitenz. So I have hard time drinking this. I drank it for straight 10 days to really sees the result. I might say that it helps on my digestion. I have bad habit of not drinking plain water. So this actually helps on my digestion. I body feels a bit energize while consuming this. I can't really tell if its helps on my eye nutrition. The bottles is just like the Fairy Beauty Drink. Easy to drink and easy to carry around. I drank this before bedtime. Do let me know what you feel about this drink. Does it taste good to your opinion, or maybe mine is just something wrong. haha. I really wish it taste good because the nutrition it gave is really good!

L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Powder Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Let's talk about face powders. In most of our makeup routine, powder is an essential item to set the makeup on your face as well as to some of you who don't really wear makeup, there is a possibilities that you still have it in your beauty stash. I find that powders are also one of the first makeup product I own years back. When talk about powders, there are many type of powders. From compact powder (usually sheer and does not give full coverage), powder foundation (like this one I am going to review, medium - high coverage, setting powder/translucent powder (mostly use for professional step makeup application) and many more.  I have a hard time to really notice a different in each face powder I own. They can be either just give me thew same result or just different in longevity. After a few months trying of this powder, as you can see I already hit pan this powder, I thought I give you my views on it.

I got this product in my last prize winning contest I blog about last year. I heard good reviews about this powder and some of them said that this is a dupe for the famous MAC Minirelize Skinfinish. I never tried that MAC Minirelize Skinfinish so I can't compare. First let me take... no. let me talk about the packaging. This comes in a plastic case with 2 side of opening. One is for the sponge + mirror they provide and one is the product it self. I love the sponge, it is easy to clean and it is super soft. This powder does not have any weird scent or fragrance in it. Texture wise, fine and buttery smooth. Does not cause any mess and the powder does not feels heavy at all. For the first 3 months of using it I wore it on top of my different foundation and bb creams that I use daily. What I can see is that is serve just like other powder I tried. Matte but not heavy, but reapplication of touch up is needed after a few hours. Nothing special. After a few months, I have change my mood on wearing makeup. During the "stress day" I went through last few months due to work, I feel like I don't want to wear liquid foundation. So I tried using concealer for my spots and under eye and just top of with this powder. Result. Love it. I find that this powder works well alone.

Maybe because of the powder it self can also help give that nice coverage and if it is wore together with a liquid foundation, it becomes slippery or a little more heavy. This powder also matches my skin tone so well, to what they claim that is Super Bendable is totally true. Its kinda melts into my skin nicely and gives me this natural coverage to my face. Still, concealer is needed for that spots and dark eye coverage, then this powders is suggest to be apply all over you face with padding motion over the concealer. My skin looks so fresh and neat. I super recommend this powder for daily use for that natural makeup look. I suggest use a powder brush if you want to apply over liquid foundation to help gives you more fine application to avoid heavy coverage that may cause patchy and uneven skin tone color. This comes in 3 different shades if I am not mistaken. The down side of this powder is that I really find hard time to touch up my makeup because the mirror is on the bottom part, you kinda need to close and open up the compact to reach back the product and look back at the mirror. Pretty inconvenience to my opinion. Oh it rhymes.

Release Date for The Sims 4

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Good morning, as I wake up just now I receive an email from my favorite online game store Origins. So I just need to blog about it. The release date for the Sims 4 have been revealed officially! Man I am excited! I started playing The Sims since I was a kid. From The Sims 1 until now The Sims 3. I am much more active during The Sims 2 because that time I was young and don't have much to do basically. Haha. I alternately play The Sims 3 when I am doing my degree. Don't really get to play much and follow new expansion and stuff because of financial issues and time. Since I have finish my studies and "some" of you always ask "where I get all of my money to buy stuff". Of course I pick it from a tree! Well come one guys, of course I work my ass of to earn my living. Disclaimer, I am not from a rich family. I buy everything with my own money. I always took opportunity to earn some side incomes and use my talent to sell my design services. Please don't assume negative thought about me people. Get you asses off and work for it.

Now talk about Origin, I receive quite a number of questions about it on how to purchase it. Well, if you have a debit card or credit card and link it to paypal, it is easy. I will blog about on how to register paypal as soon as possible around this month okay. Orgings is a authorize (authentic) online game store sells The Sims games pc games and other games. You purchase it online and download it. What I like about Origins is that they always have sale. So I bought my The Sims 3 at a very affordable price. The down side of Origins is that of course you did not get the actual product to keep or make it as a collection. Well, I do mind that sometimes.

Okay okay. When is the release date for The Sims 4 now! It will be release officially on 2nd September this year (2014). Pre Order for this game has open from lots of online store you may find. Of course Origins is also offering for Pre Order right now and retails at 80.91 SGD (normal 89.90 SGD) = RM206.88.

And there is a cool collector edition which for me retails insanely. As what I heard it is only available in UK only. I don't know why. So The Sims 4 promise and have gave us a lil sneak peek on what to expect in The new Sims 4. So what I heard that the character is more cartoonist. I like that part because I actually hate The Sims 3 graphic. It looks weird and hard to make it look pretty. Haha. The Sims 4 basically reminds me of The Sims 2 with more awesome graphic. Features, easy molding for the character, easy house building and more real expression. I am plan to get this in actual form. i would want to collect them since I did not get the chance in The Sims 3 due to my financial reasons. Now as I already can find more money for my own, I might get this around. The problem is just that my graphic card for my laptop is not good enough. Well changing a oc for me might take a while. Haha. Lastly sorry to some of you who request for me to upload my The Sims 3 house to enable download, I can't do that because I use lots of different download and codes, it might serve you a problem and I am afraid I might not get to assist you.

SKIN79 Complete CC Cream Correct (Pink) SPF 30PA++ Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Another product review! Now I am going to review my first ever CC Cream. I am an avid user of BB Cream. Like seriously. So this BB Cream trend kinda off a bit and people been going for CC Cream. So a quick intro what is the difference of a normal foundation, BB creams and CC Creams. Foundation is basically like a liquid makeup product that usually focus on giving full coverage makeup and a good high consistency on the shade for your tone. BB Creams is basically like a mixture of "moisturizer" that has a light and (quite limited choices of color) that is infused with good properties to prevent from breakouts, treating the skin from skin problems and etc. CC Creams usually comes in a "white/one color" shade and normally changes when you apply to your skin. They helps to even out skin tone naturally and stand for color correcting. It really depends on your preference. And there is also DD Creams in the market now.

I got to try this CC Cream from Skin79. A popular brand for its BB Cream. I bet you all know it. It comes in two different options. One is the Pink one (the one I am reviewing) and the other one is Orange. Do check their website for more info on that. This Pink one is for dull skin. Describe as a CC cream that helps correct to revitalize your own natural complexion. Its triple action formula with light beige shade lightens the skin tone, improve wrinkles, and block harmful UV rays to ensure younger looking fresh skin with a radiant glow. SKIN79 CC Cream Correct’ recovers the lost skin’s tone due to sun damage.

My thoughts. Let's talk about how the packaging is super convenient. Love it comes in a tube pump form. No problem serve with the pump. It dispense the product out evenly. This CC Cream also does not have a overpowering scent. The texture of this CC Cream a semi thick liquid. You can see a small pink particles in the CC Cream. It is easy to blend and slightly gives you a dewy finish. It is super natural. So don't expect this to cover your spots perfectly. What I can see here is that it really helps to even out my skin tone naturally but does not help on covering the spots on my face. This is also a good product to be use as a primer. Use this after moisturizer and then use your favorite light foundation on top of it. It helps to gives a nice hydration and base and also a nice natural skin tone to your skin. When you swatch it, you can only see a white liquid, but as you blend it, it gently changes to your skin tone color naturally.
