Softlips Cube Lip Balm Review

A lip care product that will help to protect your lips from sun damage and also hydrates, replenishes, smooths, protects & add shine to your lips. How unique the packaging is. It comes in a cube form and the product itself has a dome shape for a better application. It reminds me of the famous EOS lip balm but this one has a cube packaging. There are a lot of flavors actually in the international market but for now in Malaysia they offer 2 flavors which is Fresh Mint & Strawberry. Overall I think this is a good basic lip balm, hydrates my lip pretty well, not too waxy and a great base for a lipstick/lip makeup application. It smells amazingly delicious, and glides on like silk. I like Strawberry the most! It said that you will need to apply this at least 15 minutes before exposing your lips to the sun. This lip balm also infused with Shea Butter, Vitamin A,C & E. They looks so cute and if there are more flavors coming here in Malaysia, I will definitely collect them.

Cute Tinted Lip Balm you should check out

Over here I got the Mentholatum Sugar Lip Coloured Lipbalm & the 2 more addition to the Chu Lip Balm family, the Chu Tinted Lip Balm. If you are a go to quick makeup girl or maybe just running errads. A tinted lip balm might be great for you. It is fast, messy application might not be detected and it will help you look look more fresh with a minimal color.

First of all this is the Mentholatum Sugar Lip Coloured Lipbalm. It has 4 color options, I got the one in 01 Vintage Pink & 03 Kissy Pink. It comes in a standard rotating lipstick case and a slanted applicator. It has a "shiny specks" in it, so yeah, along side with a minimal tint of color on your lip, it has a subtle shine to it. It is pretty hydrating too. It said to be formulated with Crystal Brown Sugar that melts to your lips. It also has Super Hyaluronic Acid to help your lips from chapped.

The second one is my favorite. It has a unique sphere shape case and the lip balm it self is a dome shaped. Application are easy and the original ones has no color and the two new one here has a tint of color. It also has a sun protection of SPF 22 and has Vitamin C & E. Also formulated with Olive Oil, Shea Butter & Roseship Oil. 

The Chu Tinted Lip Balm retails for RM18.90 each and the Mentholatum Sugar Lip Coloured Lipbalm retails for RM15.80. Available at all participating pharmacies nationwide.

Velvet Vanity Liquid Lipstick Review & Swatch

I'm so happy to find out there are more and more local makeup brands that has stepping up their game. I discover a brand called Velvet Vanity. Signature Tiffany Blue as their look and they started with some liquid lipstick. The on I got here is their new and improve packaging. Looks so sleek and I really love it! They have 4 shades currently and I ordered 3 as these 3 are the only one that have the new packaging. (blame my OCD problem). I ordered these during their Cyber Monday sale if I am not mistaken. I got them for RM45.00 instead of RM59 each with free shipping too! Such a steal!

They arrive gracefully with a box and a cute card. I am very impress as I appreciate seller who put an effort to their packaging. Each liquid lipstick is pack with their box with a peek hole on the bottom for each different shades.

They are formulated with amazing ingredients such as organic jojoba oil!

The applicator are also such a big part for making the application smooth & accurate.

Here are the swatches. From Left to right (below pic) and top to bottom (above pic) is Slamberry, Cheap Trills (my fave!) and Mr. West. The texture of this liquid lipstick are very creamy and pigmented. It is very moisturizing but it takes a few moments fr it to settle in to matte/dry. Overall it is a great liquid lipstick that makes your lips look plum (from the moisturizing effect). It is light weight a semi kiss proof. It has a mild vanilla scent to it too. Love it! Hopefully there will be more shades and surely I will be purchasing it to add in my collection!

Clinique Pop Lipstick & Eyeliner Review

Just got the chance to try out more Clinique products. Today short review would be on their Pop Lipstick that claims to be a lipstick and a primer. Hmm.. Interesting. Another one is an eyeliner, called the Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen. Got both from the PR samples and I tried them for a few month right now. Clinique are available widely in Malaysia. I bet you gusy have pass by their beauty counter right.

Clinique Pop Lipstick in 12 Fab Pop

It is a rich, weightless formula that fuses bold, saturated color with a smoothing primer. You can choose from 17 shades available. It will delivers a lightweight formula that lasts for up to eight hours. Has a modern-velvet finish that said to stay comfortable on your lips. I love the packaging of course but I did not seems to see my self reach for this as much as I can remember. Maybe becasue of the shade. Fab Pop looks like a pink with a cool undertone witha  but of a lilac sheen to it. The texture is sooth but feels a but tacky on my lips. Maybe I should try other color. Each retails for RM83.00. Clinique Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen in 01 Black

It said to be a a 24-hour wear, eyeliner pen that delivers precise, dramatic lines. I could say it pretty much does the same as my other marker type eyeliner. Pretty pigmented but will need 2 layers of it for that total opaque line look. The tip is really easy to control and it goes smoothly even over eyeshadows. A pretty good eyeliner but maybe the price would be a bit steep compare to the ones you can get in the pharmacies/drugstores. Retails for RM85.00 each. (link)

Maybelline Velvet Matte Liquid Lip Color Review | Mat 8 & 10

These lip product are said to be a cream-to-matte lipstick that promise to give you that hydration without that tacky feeling you usually experience with matte lip products. It claims to be a "Hydrating cream color glides on smooth and sets with a matte finish; vibrant, richly-pigmented hues are designed for long wear; lightweight, non-sticky, non-drying formula; velvety, cushion-like texture keeps lips in comfort all day". I'm always love to try anything that says "liquid lipstick". Pretty much obsessed with it. I got two shades with me which are MAT 8 a red undertone lip color and MAT 10 a true cool tone fuchsia pink color.

Overall & Thoughts. My first thought was, this is not a completely matte lip product. As I glide it on my lips, it does feels glossy but not that sticky glossy which is good and I find comfortable. Feels more like a gel than a gloss. For me it is like a more pigmented version of the Maybelline Lip Polish. The packaging are similar only that this Velvet Matte version have a black cap instead. The applicator also looks the same. The pigmentation is very good, on my lip swatch, on each side of my lips are completely just one application. I could not say that it settle into matte after a few minutes, still look the same as I first apply it but on the other good point of this lip, it is very hydrating. Bare in mind they do not look matte but they look pretty good on the lip as a hydrating pigmented liquid lipstick. There is no weird scent to it. I think why it is called Velvet matte is is because it does not really give you that kinda "fuller lips" , this does settle into your fine lines a bit for that "matte effect" but definitely their formula really want to give you that hydration and avoiding discomfort while wearing it, like most matte lipstick are pretty tacky after a few hours. But still I don;t find this a completely matte lip product. More like a liquid lip color.

Sugar Belle Luxurious Matte Lip Cream Full Swatch & Review

I could not help myself when I knew that when they announce they are going to make a new makeup brand. A home grown from a country I was born in. Bangga Lah! Especially when its makeup kan.I just lost my marbles. Nothing excites me more when my own country are going to have more makeup brand. This is how I always have faith that Malaysia also can have prestige makeup brand that will take over the world just like what Jimmy Choo has done right. Nothing is impossible in this life except for satisfy every people haha. Sugar Belle Cosmetics, founded by two amazing inspiring ladies Belle Yahya & Eyqa Sulaiman who are also has their own business them self which are Bella Ammara & Sugarscarf. Each lip cream are packed in this nice black textured box with gold ribbon on it. The body of the lip cream are made from a very high quality matte finish plastic tube. Each shades are differentiate with a sticker on the bottom part and a small "window" showing what shade are they on each of them.

As an opening they launch their very own matte lip cream. Hah! If you know me, I am a big fan of these type of cream matte finish lip product. Have you seen my SMLC from NYX collection? Then you know how much I love these type of lip cream finishes. They launch 5 shades and at first I just want to get one, but I just could resist my self and choose. So I bought all. Haha! So let get on which some swatches shall we! 

Luxurious Matte Lip Cream No.1 Pink Paris. A true Barbie Pink but has a warm undertone. Which means perfect for most Asian skintone.

Luxurious Matte Lip Cream No.2 High Class Red. A beautiful raspberry red. It is like a deep red but not too dark and has a bit of a plum tone to it. I know we don't have season here but this might be a nice Fall color!

Luxurious Matte Lip Cream No.3 Lustre Red. I just relize that this picture are the most messy ones. I'm so sorry, I just saw this when I am editing my pictures. This is a true classic red lipstick. It is not that opaque and creamy but after a few layer it can be opaque and very pigmented. 

Luxurious Matte Lip Cream No.4 Sugar Pink. A creamy milky pink shade. Reminds me of Istanbul from NYX SMLC but this one has more "Pink" in it and maybe a bit of a baby milk peach tone in it. Go for this if you want a natural lip with a hint of pink.

Luxurious Matte Lip Cream No.5 Nude Kisses. Of course I am going to love this. I love nude lipstick! This is one of the perfect nude color I ever have! It's like the combination of my favorite NYX SMLC Athens + London + Stockholm. It's not too nude, not too brown. Just nice! I love this! And oh yes, this shade is the creamiest and most opaque among all 5.

Overall thoughts. I am wearing High Class Red in picture above. Below the picture are an image after 3-4 hours of wearing and after eating & drinking. I could say they fade but they leave a nice tint to my lips nicely. One point here, as you can see my lips does not happen to be dry or flaky at all. This lip cream are really hydrating. My favorite of all 5 are High Class Red & Nude Kisses. They are very hydrating. Some of them aren't opaque but the colors are build-able by layers. They set to matte around 1 minute. The applicator it self are another thing I love, it has a slanted shape where re applying is easy, only that its a bit hard to get in to the corner of my lips. Oh yes! One more thing, they smell so good. They has this fresh fruity scent that is not overpowering or lingers to much. Just nice! I could see some of lipstick junkies out there does complain on how some matte lip cream are super drying right, well, I recommend you this! Let me know what shades you would look forward to try!

I wish Sugar Belle will grow bigger with more products coming in. I look up to these two ladies as an inspiration <3 Hopefully one day my brand will also grow and be successful like them in shaa Allah <3 Adore ad definitely you have my support all the way!

My NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Collections

I have told you guys, I am obsessed with these lip cream. By far this is the most reach product on my daily basis, especially in the shade Athens. I have done a review on these previously, you can read it here. I featured 6 shades in that post and well, as time comes by, I added more because I just love these lip products so much. As a matte kinda girl, this lightweight formula, pretty opaque, non-drying and cream consistency just makes my everyday makeup routine easy and fast. My favorite shade of all time. I got my NYX SMLC all from an IG shop called @doodletoodle . I trust her service and all of her NYX are original. Yep, there is a fake NYX SMLC out there. Pretty rad. So she done a special offer that day and I myself could not hold my self to get more of these. This time I get most of them are in nude shades as that is what I usually wear everyday. So Round up, I think, I had enough. Maybe enough or maybe some color I would sell to my friends and get some other colors. But I am not sure yet, we'll see. Haha.  NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 03 Tokyo

A very pale pink. Looks great if you don't have warm or olive skin tone. I wish I could rock this one out, but I look kinda pale and sick with this shade.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 06 Istanbul

A nice earth tone pink shade. Really love this color, I think it suits most warm skintone.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 16 Cairo

A concealer like shade. More to a peach nude shade but very very pale. Would be a great color to combine with others so you can use it as a tone down shade. Does not appear very well alone.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 15 Athens

Hands down. This color is mean for me! I love this shade so much, its a nude and has a peach tone to it. Very natural yet not too plain. Love this to the max!

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 02 Stockholm

A deeper version to my favorite Athens. Love this one too! I think the shade Athens works well with a fair to medium skintone and this one for a darker skintone. But I love both!

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 09 Abu Dhabi

A brown tone shade with a bit of a warmth. Looks similar to London but this is much more darker and warmer.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 04 London

A lighter version of Abu Dhabi, more to a peach to brown nude shade. Creamy and opaque. Love this.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 05 Antwerp

I thought I'm gonna love this but it does not suit my skin tone. It's like a bright peach shade, super creamy but just does not work for me.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 14 Zurich

A red tone kinda nude. Pretty gorgeous and perfect if you want a nude lips, but just want a bit of a warm red tone to it.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 19 Cannes

A pink mauve warm pink. More of a muted rose color. Creamy and opaque.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Buenos Aires

The most tacky formula ever. Streaky and hard to blend, but the color is very pretty. Its a peach to cream orange shade. A bright creamy pink shade.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 07 Addis Ababa

A bright pink shade with a bit to a fuchsia undertone.

 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 18 Prague

A bright deep plum color. Love this! But I don't find myself use this everday but this color is so pretty! Opaque, creamy and ahh! So pretty! The cutes plum shade I ever had.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in 01 Amsterdam

A bright true red shade. A bit of a cool tone after a long observation. I think.

Hello everyone! I got an exciting post today. I say that in every post did I? I think every post is exciting. Bare with me! Todaaay! I am going to influence you to shop more. Haha. Oh well. Yes, why? Check out these cute lip scrub! No introduction hey. Gula Co is a brand from Indonesia and now its available to be purchase here in Malaysia from Lipsandcolours. They all sorts of product from Gula Co such as these lip scrub and many more products such as Wet & Wild, Nyx, EOS, Sleek, Golden Rose and many more. 

Introduction.

GulaCo. is a brand that carries homemade skincare made with natural, and fresh ingredients. It is safe for all ages and all skin types. No side effect because it doesn't contains artificial colorants, preservatives and harmful chemicals.Yummy Lip Scrub is useful to repair lips' condition and it's also edible. These Yummy Lip Scrub comes in 5 different flavours. Coffee, Ocha, Cocoa, Strawberry & Honey. It last about 2-3 months or until it turns weird (smells something wrong). Make sure you pick up these lip scub wih your hands clean to keep it last longer.

What I like about it. It's different from other lip scrub that I tried. First of all, I love the packaging. The size is so cute. It comes in a 2 layer plastic jar with different flavour design on top. I thin its pretty cute. My favourite gotta be Strawberry. It smells so good and its yummy! Taste like cotton candy! Another thing that I like to highlight are the texture. It's different from any other lip scrub I tried. It is grainy but soft. Its like a powder but not too soft in a way its hard to scrub in. I find that this is more gentle to be use than the one with sugary texture. Writing about this makes me think about eating it! Serious sedap! Price wise, oh come on. Its RM12 each! believe me you are gonna love it. The jar is pretty cute. Looks so nice in my Lip Care drawer. Love it!

What I don't like about it. I think none! I love this stuff. It's affordable, cute, great for collecting, easy to use. What else can I say.

Overall & Recommendation. I recommend you to try these. Try one flavour as a start. Choose Strawberry or Honey if you love sweet flavour like cotton candy. A bit of bitter sweet choose the cocoa & coffee. Love green tea? Try Ocha. When you first got this lip scrub, it will be hard to scoop out as the top part is firmly pack with the scrub. so try scooping it with a small spoon. It's more hygienic too. Cover down your chin with a tissue and rub off this lip scrub on to your lips to avoid messy situation. After that actually I recommend not to lick your lips. Haha. Saliva can cause dryness to your lips. Wipe off with damp tissue or wet wipes then apply lip balm. Now kissy2 that pouty lips. Check out Lipsandcolours for more products info and order.
