New Breena Beauty Brush | B212 Basic Eyeshadow & B216 Brow Definer

Woohoo! I got an announcement to make! Breena Beauty have come out with more new brushes and this time it is eye brushes. This time around my brushes will have its own code number and name for easy reference. These 2 new brushes would be the most essential eye brushes every makeup lover should have. A basic eyeshadow brush and a brow brush. 

The packaging remain the same only that we have now label it with different colored stickers and name on top. Each brush will be packed inside an individual box for that special and luxury feel! The fibers remain the same of course, cruelty free and no animal hair were used in making these brushes. Gold engraved brush name and logo placed lovely on the white wood handle.

Now for the first eye brush is this B212 Basic Eyeshadow brush. I have been back and forward with the factory for this specific eye brush. I could not find my self a fluffy and non-stiff type synthetic fibre brush. I design this brush to be semi-stiff but at the same time fluffy enough to help you blend your eyeshadow easily. The semi stiff function helps to hold up any product you are picking up. As you can see in the picture below, the brush holds up the product nicely and leaves any extra or fall out powder before you are applying it to your lid. This brush can also be use to apply your concealer around your face. It's a great brush for packing in product in your makeup routine.

My holy grail brow brush. I have been using this brush since I got it perfectly like I wanted. I tried so many type of brow brush and one has never satisfied me. Sometimes it cam be to long, to flimsy or basically wont give me that perfect drawing. So I created this brow brush that has the perfect stiffness and length. The shorter side are stiff enough to gently drag in your product on your brow without messing up. The top longer pointed part will give you the finest line to create that natural hair on your brow. This brush can also be use to apply gel eyeliner or simple use your pencil eyeliner for that smudge proof and straight perfect wing eyeliner. Also can be use for eyeshadow under your lid for that smoked out defined shadow.

Best Powder Brush | Face Luxe Brush by Breena Beauty

Hey guys! What's up! Are you having a holiday today? I hope you have a great time! I have a great time too because today is a big day for me.Why? I guess you all have know? Or maybe not? Well, today is the day where Breena Beauty, my little project that I have been working on for years has come alive and I am launching my first debut brush with is the Face Luxe Brush that I am reviewing today! Feels awkward to review your own product hey! But hey, you got to love what you created <3 

Here is a little description of the first brush I came out with. It is the best brush for powder & airbrush application. No more cakey face! Face Luxe Brush is a multi tasking brush that works great with both powders & liquid formula products. It creates a soft focus airbrush finish to your skin. Best used in buffing & padding motion. It features soft dome sculpted shape & ultra soft (non animal hair) synthetic bristles for an effortless, seamless & natural effect makeup application. Work best with, Face Powder, Powder Foundation, Loose Powder, Mineral powder, Translucent Powder, Pressed Powder, Liquid Foundation, Bronzer and many more by your own preference.

The handle is made out of wood and painted in white. Gold engraved logo of Breena & the name of the brush are on the handle. So the name of the brush would last longer and wont rub away. Although it is white, the handle can be clean and wipe easily from dirt. The ferrule is made out of high quality rose gold metal. The bristles are actually has a white tip and dark brown on the lower part. In the picture it looks black, but it is actually dark brown. Each individual brush came with a box for that luxury feel to it. There is the brush description on the back of the box. 

I know it is my brush but I can't handle myself to let you know that this is one of the softest brush I ever own! It feels so luxurious when applied on my face. Not scratchy feeling and no streaky textured leave behind when you use this brush. Even after a few wash, the softness remains. Guarantee! It has a rounded dome shape on top so t acts like a sponge but does not absorb too much of your product and waste your product.

Here are my favorite ways to use this brush. If you notice I have been mentioning about the best brush I use for my powder product. Yep, this is it! Been using it for years now since I got the sample from my factory and it is so hard to keep a secret! Haha! Glad it is reveal until it is fully ready to be launch. Since I got this brush, I never use face sponge to apply my powder. This has been helping me to evenly distribute my powder product effortlessly and evenly! The perfect amount of product is taken in just a gently swipe in any pressed product such as pressed face powder, foundation powder, bronzer, blush and many more. 

Other favorite to use this brush is for my loose type of product. Oh my oh my! Since I got this brush, I have been addicted to use my Laura Mercier Translucent powder with my brush. Its evenly distribute the powder to my face so easily. Does not swipe away my base which is the liquid foundation I applied before using my powder. Also if you search some beauty tips on how to apply powder, it is actually by "stamping" motions. With the Face Luxe Brush that is what you have to do. Your powder will last long and evenly buffed in to your skin and leaving your skin look natural and evenly covered. That is why I choose a short handle. Stamping and padding motion are easily done with this brush. No more sponge that full of bacteria!

If you look closely, the brush head of this Face Luxe Brush has a domed shape. Looks similar to a round type of sponge. The bristles are densely packed but it is very flexible so getting around the corner of your face is not a problem. My favorite way to use this brush is for my face powder product and blurring out any harsh applied blush and bronzer all over my face. It also can be use for a very liquid-y type of product such as liquid foundation. If you love a semi-high coverage liquid foundation, you may use this brush. Make-up Brush Guard Review

Kepp it together. That is all you need to make sure all of your makeup brushes are in shape. Washing too frequently and leave it hanging around with no protection can cause your brush hair to damage and loose its shape. So the solution? Brush Guard! This brush guard was the "it" thing when YouTube start to have all the Beauty Gurus. Michelle Phan loves it and many other too. I am a bit late and I just got the change to try it this year. Thank you Mesmerize for providing me with these awesome product!

These brush guard comes in 3 different pack. Powder/Kabuki Pack, consist of 4 Large guards, Shadow/Liner Pack consist 10 of the extra small  guards and the Variety Pack comes in 1x Large, 2 medium, 2 small and 1 extra small.

I really love the medium size one because I have a lot of medium brush size that need total protection. These brush guard are reusable and easy to use. All you need to do is slide these brush guards from the bottom part of the brushes and slide it up. Some real technique brush cannot fit these brush guard because of its wide bottom. So take not on that.

You can use it to protect your brush while travelling because you will be bringing this in a bag and you might damage it when you walk around. Another great thing is that you can use it to air dry your makeup brushes after cleaning it. The brush guard is pretty sturdy and easy to hold it up. So any water could not get through the glue in the ferrule that will damage your brushes. The hole on the brush guard can help to naturally dry you makeup brushes. This is a really good product if you love your makeup brushes!

I really recommend these brush guard. I wish they have in medium & small pack because that is the most use one. The large one are sometimes to big for my medium brushes.The only thing is that you need to prepare like a container or something to store these. They can easily misplace. Real Technique Core Collection Make up Brushes Review

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have an exciting review in my blog. As you can see, I bet you know what it is. Yes, it is the Real Techniques Core Collection Make up Brush set. If you watch youtube, you might know the duo's sister called Pixiwoo, Samantha and Nicola Chapman. Their brush range comes in sets and individuals ones. You can purchase Real Technique Brush in local Malasyia store, but aware that it is slightly expensive (cost like a high end makeup brush). I got mine from MakeupToolsmy. I heard so many good reviews for these brushes. The first real technique brushes that I have are the Blush Brush & Expert Face Brush. I am excited to tell you what I though about these brushes!

For the set collection, it comes with a case that can actually use also as a brush stand. Not really using it actually. But it would be a great case for someone who just wanna bring a few brushes during travel. Everything comes neatly and looks expensive to me!

Buffing Brush

Description : Ideal for full coverage application of powder and mineral foundation
This brush is light weight and firm to hold. The hair are made from synthetic hair. The shape of the brush is not dome but pretty round on the side. It is not stiff and dense like the Sigma F80. It is recommend to be use for liquid, powder foundation. I find that I love to use this for a very liquid texture foundation and buffering blush & bronzer. Also perfect to buff in powder to your face. It spread on nicely and feels soft on the skin. Sometimes this brush gives streaky effect if the brush is too dirty. My fault. Haha.

Pointed Foundation Brush

Description : use with liquid foundation to build custom coverage
This not your ordinary foundation brush. It is smaller than the normal ones and a bit flimsy. I find that this works best to blends in liquid product such as cheek tints and to apply concealer under the eye. It also a great brush to blead uneven foundation around the nose and around the mouth. I find that it is a bit impossible to use this for your foundation routine because its pretty time consuming due to it size.

Contour Brush

Description :  Delicately applies highlighter to contour or create sheer, soft-focus finish

My favourite brush in this collection! I love the size of this brush and how versatile it is. Perfect to apply powder under the eye to set my eye conceler. It is super soft and easy to clean. This also works great as a contouring brush. The pointed tip is going to give you a nice precise application on your cheek.

Detailer Brush

Description :  Precision cut to effortlessly conceal problem areas or use with lipstick for long-lasting shape and definition.
Second favorite brush in this collection! I find that this is perfect to be use as a lip stick applicator, inner corner highlight applicator and also spot concealing. It is not that stiff and easy to work with. This should be sell individually! It is such a multi purpose brush.

Overall. The Real Technique Core Collection is great for everyone especially when you are just starting to use makeup brushes. It is a versatile brushes. You can use one brush with many option of ways to your liking. I actually like the way how it weights. Its light and easy to handle. In terms of cleansing, it does not gives me problem. It is easy to clean and I do not have any shredding problems with these brushes. Price wise are also reasonable for such a great quality of brushes. Colors Cosmetics Malaysia Flat Top Foundation Brush Review

We are small but cute aren't we? Most Asian comes in small sizes. Wehuu. Our average size are below 5 feet. We need smaller things to fit our cuteness. Hehe. So yes, I bet you all have know about the makeup brush from our home grown brand, Color Cosmetics Malaysia. An awesome webstore selling tons of awesome makeup products. So they have relaunch their best selling item that is the Flat Top Foundation Brush and thank you to them I got to try it for my self before the launching date which is on 30 September tomorrow! I have been using it quite frequently, and I will let you know about it below!

What I like about it. I never thought a short handle can be really make a difference when applying makeup. The bristle is super similar to the Sigma F80. I own that brush so I can tell! The bristle are made from synthetic material, which means no animal hair we use. So don't worry my fellow sister. What I like about it it is easy to carry and how the handle feels firm when holding it making my application easy and accurate. The price are also reasonable and love how they improve on the look of the brush. From what I can remember, the old one comes with a sticker. I find that looks tacky. now,the logo is engraved on the wood handle which I find super sleek! Love it! The bristle are dense and super soft! Also to mention that it is super easy to clean.
What I don't like about it. So far, I have been loving this brush, but short handle can be accurate but sometimes I find it is more tiring than the longer handle. I don't know why. But it is still workable.
Overall & Recommendation. If you are looking for a brush to apply your favorite liquid foundation, you should own this! It buff into your skin nicely and leave your makeup application seamlessly and stay longer. The short handle are also good to be work with your clients if you are a makeup artist.

Sigma 5th Year Anniversary | Luxola

Hey hey. All I can say is I love Sigma Brushes. I have been around loving their products since it became a most raved topic in YouTube. When they first started, getting my hands on their brushes are such a trouble. It is shipped internationally and problems may occur. Sigma is a USA brand that carries wide variety of make-up brushes. They are high quality and comparable to the high ends ones. My parcel is package in a bubble wrap envelope. The brushes came with the Sigma Box. I still remember back then where it was packed with the organza bag. Improvement! Can't stop starring at the beauty of the rose gold ferrule!

The items I got here are the holy grail best foundation brush ever which is the F80 Flat Top Kabuki in copper ferrule with a "5th Year Anniversary" engraved text on the handle, E21 Smudge Copper, E10 Small Eye Liner Copper & Sigma Gel Eye Liner in Unexpected. When you purchase any item from Luxola, your items will always be wrapped nicely. I love it! Back to the brushes. Actually I have own the F80 before, back in 2009. But then I did not take care of the brushes well, so I actually damage the whole bristles. Then I repurchase it again in the standard silver ferrule. It is one of the best foundation brush I ever use. Getting my hands on the Copper edition is a bonus! I love how it looks like and would be a nice back up for me if I did have the time to clean my Silver F80. The other two brushes I got are eye brushes.

The smudge brush is an excellent brush for applying eye shadow in the inner corner of your lid. It does not feels flimsy and all over the paces. It is firm and give you precise smudging on that area. The other one is an eye-liner brush. Great to be use with gel liner like the one I got here! The shade is called unexpected and it is a matte grey shade eye-liner. Can be use as an eye-shadow base and of course eye-liner!

Real Technique Blush Brush & Expert Face Brush

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Makeup brushes! I love them to the moon and back. Hahaha. Yes, I love makeup brushes. Since the day I discover makeup, makeup brushes have been the tools that I want to collect. Since Sigma started I only got a few brushes from them. It is quite expensive when you convert them and all the shipping you have to pay. Along the way, I start collecting makeup brushes. From local brands to international. Some of the brushes are still with me even after years of using it. Then I discover Real Technique brushes! Founder Sam from Pixiwoo, an incredible YouTuber created a line of makeup brushes from sets to individuals. So I got some brushes last year from an online seller, she lives in Australian and she help me order these. We have these in Malaysia but its fairly more expensive and cost like an high end makeup brushes. These two brushes are my first ever RT brushes. Real Technique brushes are a drug-store brand brushes. They are affordable but still very good quality. I believe there are fakes for these brushes so beware. First impression, Love it! Absolutely soft and firm. They don't look tacky and they are packed nicely! So here I am going to give my thoughts on each of the brushes. I got it last year, and pretty much have tested it quite a lot.

Blush Brush. This is from RT individual brush line. I never own such shape of brushes. So the shape of the brush kinda attracts me. It has an "egg" shape and a slanted handle. The handle is pretty light and makes its easier to hold. The brush is 100% synthetic which means no animal hair are used. What makes this brush is different from the other brush is that the "pick-up" power it has. Not like other brushes, you might tend to pick up powder product more than you need. This brush picks up powders 'especially blush powders" nicely. It also makes applying blush easy because you tend to get more control with this brush. The middle part of the bristle which you can see a bit bigger makes a perfect spot to blend in your blusher or bronzer into your skin. This is also great for applying powder under the eye. The pointed shape of the brush can be use for contouring, but I don't really use that part much. Overall, it is a good brush and a multi-function brush. To be surprise, I like to use this brush more for face powder because of its softness and easy to reach out small areas from its pointed shape of bristle.

Expert Face Brush. This is also from their individual brush line. I was looking for a good brush to apply my liquid foundation so I went for this. It was a bit awkward on first application. Its a bit stiff and too firm to my liking. After a few months of trying I tend to get use to it. The brush is soft indeed but it is just too firm. What I like about it is that it does not absorb that much of my liquid foundation which usually buffer brush do. I don't really use this on my daily basis because it takes too much of an effort. Its a good brush but you need a lot of time to really blend everything on your face. The way of using this brush is like the normal C-shape foundation brush.Which you apply it downwards in small strokes. But this is much better than the normal foundation brush. Its also need a firm application on your face, so when applying under the eye is a bit trouble and sometimes leave a streaky mark of foundation left. It gives you a medium-heavy coverage. Good for cream and liquid. I usually use this brush went I have more time to makeup, usually for special night out. Applying small strokes of foundation is actually the best way but it takes a bit more effort. So no wonder the name of this brush is Expert Face Brush. This is also good for applying and blending cream blush or liquid type of colored products on the face.
