How to Reduce Menstrual Cramps.

This feeling. Raise your hand if this problem is basically a problem you would face every month! Yes. Menstrual Cramps. A girl thing. From that sweet innocent of us that turns into a Godzilla for a moment. Truly understand. High Five!. I had this problem for years I tell you. YEARS. I knew I'm gonna get it and I knew I am going to go through the pain. Tried everything. From using warm cloth to stretching. It just won't go away. The worst part is when it happen during important days such as meeting people or having an event. Your mood swings and you feel like rolling on the floor. That is what I think. Haha. Some of my friends suggest me to take the "pain-relief" menstrual pills. Which I really don't want to take because I am very skeptical on these kind of pills. I afraid that it will give bad side effect to my body in the long term. So that is why this has been my problem for years. Usually I will just hold on to the pain till it goes away. I have a great solution for you that I am very excited to share.

The Solution to Menstrual Cramp? To my new discovery. The AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch. It helps to reduce menstrual pain by a non-medicinal heat therapy. It will provide stable and safe temperature (40°C) up to 8 hours. It also helps improve blood circulation and effective in pain relief. The heat is activated when it is exposed to air/the sticker is pulled out. It is odorless

Each pack comes with 2 patch. The patch has an approx of 14cm(H) x 7cm(W) in size. The AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch is really convenient for me. What I do is I always prepare 1 pack in my makeup bag just in case on the day I got my menstrual cramp or even get it ready for my friends who have that problem. It is really easy to use too! And messy free.

Direction of use. All you have to do is to make sure the surface of your lower tummy is dry. Open up the silver sachet and take out the patch. The patch it self is made out of a soft adhesive cotton with 2 parts of stickers. Peel off the sticker and paste it on your lower tunny where cramps are usually happen/indicate/where the pain are. Then, you are off to go! Since it is a 8 hours relief patch, I think it is perfect to be worn before going to work (relief during the day) and before to sleep (8 hours of sleeping). Do remember that don't use these patch more than 8 hours.

How it really works? When you put it on your lower tummy (the skin) it start to "heat up". The heat therapy targets pain at its root cause as it helps improve blood circulation. It will warms up on the affected area and then the volume of blood flow increases and it produces vasodilation. Vasodilation increases the supply of oxygen and removal of metabolic waste, which leads to better healing and reduced pain.

Above graphic shows result of the performance test that they run. After performance test, 80% of users said it was effective to relieve menstrual pain symptom and 76% said it was better than their current treatment to treat menstrual pain symptoms.

This is how it looks after 8 hours of usage. The "mixture" (Ingredients: Iron Powder, Water, Activated Carbon, vermiculite, salt, super absorbent polymer)  inside the patch actually hardens. Taking it off is not a problem, The adhesive does not pull out my skin aggressively.

Overall & Thoughts. So far, this is my best discovery for my monthly problem. The cramps. I never found a product like this before and I can see that this is a product that I would repurchase every month. A new addition to my "Emergency Bag" where I usually bring an extra pad, underwear, and of course this patch together with me during period days. My feel very comfortable when wearing this patch. It really reduce my period cramp and I love how it gives me this nice warm feeling under my tummy. It is very relaxing. I like to press it against my tummy, and it gives me this "more" warm effect which is really nice. Another great point for this product is that it does not have any herbal-ly scent. Which is a very good thing because I usually put heating balm around my tummy trying to get rid off the paid but it did not which the worse part is that it smells and greasy. This AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain  is just the perfect fit for my problem. Easy to use, affordable, no weird scent, effective. Another thing that I recommend is to be careful when using this on days you are wearing dress/jubah. Make sure to properly dry your tummy area first before pasting it on. Or else the glue won't stick nicely. Overall, Recommend!

    3) I want to really try the heat patch since it's more useful than the warmbag that I got to carry around each time I get that menstrual pain. Sometimes, it's embarrassing to bring it to class but the pain is so..... That's why those heat patches will help me to ease the cramps without feeling too burden to bring or carry it around. :D

    3) I have really bad experience when it comes to menstrual pain. I think it's one of the worst pains I ever have. Usually I would have the most menstrual pain moment in the first day, or sometimes it can go up until the third day. I tell you, the pain is unbearable! When I was in school (form 4), my aunt introduced me to menstrual pain pills, which I had to take them to stop the pain. It was such a relief and I was on that pills for quite some time (until the first year of degree). It also took some time for the pain to go away after I consumed them, so I had to put tons of minyak panas to my lower tummy and my waist. You name it, I have almost every brands of minyak panas. I even had to put boil water (I need the boiled one, yeah) into a small water bottle and press it to where the pain is. Water bottle pun dah takde bentuk water bottle after that. I felt like an old lady and I had to raise a white flag when it comes to period. I just couldn't even walk properly because of the pain. I have to bend myself to an angle of 90 degree when I stood up and walked like a turtle. I sometimes even experienced the dizziness, mual-mual and vomit. Man, when I had these three, that means my menstrual pain is really really really the bad one! (You might experience this one too Sab). So, I really want to try the AMMELTZ YOKO YOKO Heat Patch for Menstrual Pain. I've been longing to search for a saviour when it comes to red flags days. Let see whether it could provide a relief to my bad menstrual pain so that I don't have to use layers of minyak panas. Plus, I probably don't have to boil water and put it into a water bottle again. I really hope I'll win this giveaway.

  9. Ugh - I also share this incredible pain with you and like you I´m very hesitant when it comes to pain killers although not as much for the side effects as for the fear that I might get used to it and could a) become addicted to it or b) immune and would as a result need stronger and stronger stuff. I truly envy women who don´t really feel anything at that time of the month.
I tried similar heat patches when it got really bad but the ones I had were for the military and could not be used directly on the skin (but they also stayed warm for half a day). It´s okay but for the really bad weeks I´d probably have to cover myself in those. xD

    - Every women in this world do get periods BUT not all of them will have to go through an episode of the crucially painful menstrual pain/period cramps. I do have friends who ONLY got zits or a sudden huge craving for foods whenever their periods are coming. I personally think that they are blessed because they don't have to go through all those painful moments. Which means, YES -- I am those with menstrual pain EVERY MONTH ever since I got my period. Sadly, I am now depending so much on medicines. So every time I feel like my menstrual pain is coming, I quickly eat those medicines and the pain don't even get the chance to be "extremely painful" because of it.

Even though my mom & most of my friends actually told me to stop, I am still holding on strong with my medicines intake. I've seen articles about why it's not preferable to eat menstrual medicines and most of them are on the negative sides. It does gave me the chills and I am trying out anything that I can use to prevent my menstrual pain to be painful other than my routine dosage of medicines.

Because every women knows how bothersome it is to have menstrual pain, especially on our daily activities. My worst pain had to be the one where I couldn't even get out of bed because it felt like I have a sharp knife, stabbed at my lower abdomen. Every move felt like the I'm ripping out my tummy T.T

So I really hope I could get lucky with your giveaway and I would like to try this heat patch out! :) And if it works really really good, I am sure I will be a regular customer for this product! :)
