L'Oreal Le Teint True Match Foundation Review

As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Happy Monday! Today I am going to review this L'Oreal Foundation. From what i can recall this foundation has been in the market for so long. As you can see above, the silver cap is the old packaging and the gold cap is the new packaging. I grab these 4 shades from my L'Oreal winning prize I got last year. L'Oreal offers many option of texture/type liquid foundation and this is one of them. As you know, the US version comes in a glass bottle with a cap on it. I think they are pretty much the same version as us, the only difference is that we have a pump. Many Beauty gurus in the YouTube love this foundation and this foundation is one of the early liquid foundation that i own when i just started to collect makeup. I love this foundation back then. You can get this in 8 different shades.

My thoughts. I don't really love this foundation. I picked up 4 shades of these because I just wanna keep some different shades of foundation in my makeup collection in case friends coming around or need me to have some makeover for them, I got the shade for them. This offer medium-heavy coverage and have a slight dewy finish. it is not matte. This foundation gets oily by the end of the day after 3 hours. What I don't like about this foundation is that it gives me this uncomfortable feeling after a few hours. I feel a lil greasy and the foundation kinda slip off my face. What I like about it is that the coverage is good, the selection of color are also good. It matched my skin tone very well. My shade is in Golden Beige. Price wise was okay, not bad. From what i can remember is that during the early time when I first got this it has a very very thick texture. i think they kinda change the formula of this foundation this time. I recommend this foundation to people who have dry or combination skin. I don't really suggest this foundation to people who have oily skin.

    1. Its fun tho! I love playing makeups with my friends! hehe... hm.. right now I only experiment on drugstore brands. Currently Im loving BB creams more than foundation. For foundation I leh suggest Essence stay all day. agak matte, but xtahan lama sgt.

  6. I havent used L'Oreal foundation in years.. the last one I used was the True Match with the silver cap. Even then it was oily I think. I had hoped tht they had improved the formula with this new version but alas, they haven't. Huhu..

    1. i think i like the old version better. I kinda remembered that i really like this foundation back then. but this doesn't seems to improve. it create this greasiness feeling at the end of the day. perhaps this works good if you are planning to stay or go to a colder temperature places I guess. Its quite hydrating.

    1. It is because it is oil based and it is more suitable for people who have dry skin adn cold environment. for drugstore, revlon color whip yg dalam jar berat tu best for oily skin sbb dia matte finish. :)

  8. I bought this foundation recently and I hate it. It makes my face oily and patchy at the same time. I think I might go back with my all time fav foundation which is healthy mix gel foundation. Such a waste of money though :/

    3. so far smashbox photofinish primer is one of the best primer that helps to hold up foundation to turn greasy. :)
