As-salamu alaykum and hello everyone ♡. Its been a while since I do a Fragrance Friday Series. Well as I said, its really depends on when I have a new fragrance on my rack. Haha. I am really honored to get to try this one. It is the new fragrance by Dolce Gabbana. Featuring Kate King as the star of the fragrance. Look at her sharp face. So pretty! She is a 20 year old Canadian model
This fragrance, Dolce is describe as a gentle, feminine mix of white flowers, that was introduced by the freshness of the Neroli leaves and defined by the White Amaryllis, that is a South African flower used for the first time ever in scent. I never heard of the flower before too. What Dolce Gabanna describe of the fragrance are :
The fragrance opens with a brightly-coloured, sweet-smelling explosion of Neroli leaves and Papaya flower, dissipating into a floral bouquet as the core of the fragrance emerges. A unique and opulent combination of White Water Lily and bold White Daffodil blend perfectly with the full-bodied White Amaryllis. This floral signature is counterbalanced by the background of warm Musky notes, along with the complex accents of Cashmeran; leaving a sensual trail of light woods, earthy tones and piquant spices.
I am happy to say that I really love this fragrance. As you know I really not a fan of sweet scented perfume. I am bad at describing fragrance but all i can say is I love the musky freshness of this fragrance. It is perfect for day time or even night time. It is not too strong (womenly) or not too sweet (overpowering). Its more of a fresh flower freshness kinda thing. Now lets talk about the packaging. How I just love the whole thing did I? Dolce describe it as an elegant packaging is reminiscent of a vintage fragrance flacon. Thick, clear glass with softly curved lines lending a contemporary design edge. The bottle is made out of glass. And the cap, as you can see has a flower blooming kinda shape. The flower is made kinda like from a clay. It is not that plastic tacky kinda thing. It seriously looks so elegance and luxury. Dolce also said that the black ribbon on the bottle present as an elegant bow, conjures images of the white shirts and bow-ties that were a signature of early Dolce&Gabbana catwalk shows. I love it!
